  7. That's Make an Orc Week 5! Coming between 1 October - 6 October.
  8. Make An Orc Week! (T'is an OOC post!) Version 4. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It’s back, strong as ever! It’s ‘Make an Orc’ week once more! Last time, I tried encouraging players to make Ologs, but Ologs are too hard for new orc players, so this time, we’ll go about uruks and goblins. Goblins & their RP. Every player in LotC except a few mistake LotC goblins for WoW goblins: 3 feet tall green skinned creatures with advanced technologies, while in reality, LotC goblins are almost as tall as humans, can be from green to blue skinned and too have advanced technology compared to a normal uruk. Goblins, while smaller and weaker than normal orcs, have higher intelligence, which makes them great inventors, tacticians, and even scholars. Goblins, unlike their urukish counterparts, have smaller tusks and they can speak normally with a few breaks in language here and there: “Oh my friend, you are back!” Goblin: “Oh mi frend, lat am bak!” A goblin will tend to avoid combat, unless he\she is sure it can win or if he\she is able to fight properly. Uruks & their RP: Uruks are brutes. It’s the best way to describe them. But many uruks, including some active, aren’t brutes like their appearance suggests. There are, of course, the warmongering orcs who’d love to slice your throat, but there are aswell scholarly, labouring and more intelectual focused orcs. The brutish aspect of the orcish race, due to their curse, and the hard tongue, due to the tusks, tends to scare many players from the rather friendly and teaching community that is the Orcs. For the Blah, the orc’s language, it’s not hard to understand. You just need to know key words: Lat - You Mi - Me\I Tik - Time Waagh - War Rex - Leader Wargoth - Clan Leader Gruk - Know. The other words are normally brutish ways of speaking common (english): “Oh my friend, you are back!” Uruk: “Ah mi frend, lat ahm back!” Unlike the goblins, stated above this section, uruks have bigger tusks and it makes it harder for them to speak properly, though should the occasion come and a Uruk loses it’s tusks (It has happened, I roleplayed a tuskless orc, by the name of Orok’Raguk), the orc would speak normally, replacing ‘you’ and ‘I’ for lat and mi, like a normal orc would, but without the butchering of the rest of the sentence: “Oh mi friend, lat are back.” ORCS: This is a section pointed to the already existing orcs\gobos\ologs. New players come and go from the orcs, and we are aiming to have them staying with us. For that, they are going to need guides, helpers of sorts. I call upon orcs from our community who’d like to help these new players by guiding them either OOC’ly or roleplaying with them. For that, you’ll fill an application: IGN: How long have you been an orc: RP Name: RP or OOC guiding?: Available time (weekly): That sums it up for the fourth ‘Make An Orc’ week. I hope this drives you into orcish roleplay and the big community we have! Special thanks to ultravioletpixie for letting me write this Written by: Brazilianski, Kazdum the Mad. Brazilian Orc.

  11. Free? Oh-ho. Name: Kazhdum the Mad Race: Orc (Black Orc) height (idk if needed): 8'4 details: horns on both of his upper sides of the head, tusks on the ends of his mouth and a small one on the center right. Under the horns there's a red painting. the horns are similar to a demon's, they go up, curly and then they go backwards. His right eye is crimson red, dark, and his left eye has a scar running across it, making it blind. I'll drop something as a reference: oh Alongside that, he has a full bone armour covering his whole body. the chest is like it has ribs all over it, the legs have circular-like human cones and the arms have shoulderpads with wolf skulls and the rest of the arm has human fore-arm bones. oh If you can, I'd be really happy! 14. “Hasn’t changed a thing…” The Ashen Orc mused, viewing the orcish capital from a mountain, deep in the Red Sands. He brought up the little nourishment he salvaged, a small piece of oddly green bread. Not much concerned, the brute shoved it into his mouth and munched on the soggy and rotten piece of ‘food’. The winds slapped around with their casual, yet terrifying noise as the sand flew across him. Typical hot day of the Red Desert. “Only one little thing….” He then moved to hop onto his horse. The frail being barely allowed the orc to be comfortable but even the orc himself was frail. They rode down the mountainside and finally arrived but a mile away from the town. The Ashen Orc looked back. He saw the deserts he inhabited during the hard days of his banishment. He saw the jabbernacks and wild animals he fought to preserve his skin and his life. Not even the Spirits, ashamed of his actions, would make him company. Just him and the sands, the sands and him. The horse reeled back. It was thirsty. The Orc calmly and gently ran his hand on the proud black stallion, similar to his own skin colour. The horse, annoyed, whinnied and started galloping towards the city. The Orc was ready for anything, but determined to come back to his home. The first to see him was the tower watchman, who then sounded the horn and a hurried pack of orcs ran towards the well-known Orc. Of course, who wouldn’t know of the exiled ex-Keshig Boss. He stood atop proudly his horse, his figure frail, the horse even more. The orcs looked at him, until one broke the silence. “Your reason for coming back must be good, or I’m personally killing you.” Of course. He knew that voice. How couldn’t he know the voice. The familiar, echoing voice of the Gorkil. The Red Gorkil, Vagud. The Orc examined Vagud’s features and smiled. He let out a quick giggle and clapped. “Ah, Vagud… Haven’t changed a thing either, have you? My motivation, my reason for coming back will astonish you; I didn’t do anything. My mind was… Confused…” The Ashen Orc trailed off at the end, sighing. One of the orcs, the then Rex Leydluk’Raguk, stepped over, arms crossed, features obviously angered at the presence of his clan brother. He stepped closer, furious eyes looking up and down the Black Orc. “You’ve some balls to do this…” “I do…” “I was hoping I’d never have to see your sorry black face anymore…” “At least we think as equals on that matter… But I’m coming back, regardless.” Murgosh crossed his arms. The ex-Keshig looked more serious, determined on his words. He slapped the horse’s back and the one ran off. Murgosh perked up a brow, awaiting Leydluk’s answer. “Eh-... No. You’re not.” “I will.” “Not whilst I’m alive.” The black orc groaned in annoyance. The sands now irritating him, first time in years. The air felt heavy. His hopes were destroyed. He grumbled and turned around and left, not another word coming from his mouth. ~Skipping 5-6 ((IRP)) years.~ It was the same scene.. He recognised it, plain as day. The same ridge, the same, slightly changed town. He missed it. Desperately. He wanted to see his brothers, sisters and he wanted to reconnect to his past life. Six years in the desert made him repent for his crimes even more. He was convicted this time. He knew nothing of the world as it was. Nothing but the Orenian Reformation. He rode down on his more able bodied horse down the mountain side and rode up to the city. He wasn’t greeted by anyone at first. He walked into the city and looked around. It was strange. Un-easing to see the city again. “Murgosh?!” “Wha-” He was interrupted fast by the feorc’s embrace. She hugged him tightly, even knowing he was still technically banished. She held onto the Ashen Orc’s chest for quite a while. Rex U’la’Yar was happy to see her friend back. More than that, she was happy to see him alive. “Throm’ka, U’la. How’ve you been?” “Doesn’t matter, I’m fine! What about you?! Are you okay?! Have you repented for your crimes?” The smaller one asked like lightning bolts. Murgosh giggled and motioned for her to wait. She did. He then hugged her tightly. He wasn’t aware he was hugging the Rex in the middle of the square. “I have. I’m fine.” “I have news!” “They are?” “I’m Rex!” Murgosh’s heart skipped a beat as he pushed her off and widened his eyes. He then jumped up and roared out; “WOOOOOOOOOOOOO” “Haha, calm down, brother.” The brute then hugged her again, patting her back as he did. “I’m proud of you, U’la! Really am!” He then went serious. He let out a sigh and reeled in to whisper to U’la. “Am I pardoned?” “Hrmph… I believe your word, Murgosh… Since you say you have repented, you’re pardoned.” Murgosh smiled, patting her shoulder. The wind and the sand felt good to him. The buzzing of conversations and the smell of drugs in the air excited the Orc as he was finally back. Fifteen harsh years. But he was back. And he was back to stay.

  20. Sprskans ((This is NOT meant to be historically accurate with the actual Serbians IRL)) "Sprska jaka!!" -Slobodan Milioj, Knight. (Sprskan Coat-of-Arms) Origins\History: The Sprskan folk is a Ruskan sub-culture. They speak the Srpski and tend to be tall like their Ruskan predecessors, standing at 5’9” to 6’5”. Typically blonde with most of them having Light Green or Blue eyes. Alongside the blonde, other hair colours range from more dark blonde and ginger hair. Culture: Sprskans believe in the Church of the Canon, having a different name for GOD: Bog or Gospodine. Sprskans are very religious and neglect any other religion. The Sprskans are very reserved as to their way of being, having still some traditions which some call ‘primal’. Traditions: One of those Sprskan traditions is the Marriage. Marriage for the Sprskan folk is an important ceremony, of which the groom has his first chance to have a son. Another great ceremony in the Sprskan culture is the Name Day. When it comes about the day the person was born, mirrored in another time, the Sprskans throw a great party to the person for their Name Day. The name of the parties, marriage and Name Day respectfully: Brak and Imendan. Language: Srpski is a hard, sometimes tongue twisting language. Some sentence examples are: “My friend arrive this evening.” In Srpski: "Moj prijateli je stigao veceras." Some useful words/sentences: Hello - Zdravo Good Day - Dobra Dan Good Afternoon - Dobra Kaz Good Night - Luka noc Thanks - Hvala I - Ji You - Ti Me - Moj Welcome - Dobrodoszli Friend or Foe - Prijatejli ili neprijatejli
