A further investigation of the gnomish warrens has revealed strange blood and teeth inside of one of the gnome-homes. [!] A note is pinned to the Town Hole Norland's Racist Don't Go There I was tryin' to go to Norland to distribute a few pies there since Primrose and the Dwarf merchant guy I talked to said that the Norlanders want pumpkin pies from us. I got to their gates with a bunch of pies ready and the gate guard demanded that I be darkspawn tested to enter! He wanted to cut me open with an aurum blade and pour salt into the wound just for me to enter the city and distribute a couple o' pies! Which seems like a bit much just for entering a city, and ye really shouldn't expect many visitors if ye demand such an ordeal. Which makes me think that it were all a sorta racist thing probably. T'is because I'm a weefolk and they all be bigguns and they probably let all their biggun-pals into the city without slicing them apart or seasoning them. I dunno why Norland's king or whoever made such a big deal about wanting pumpkin pies from us, but they aren't going to get very many if we can't go there to give the pies to them without getting scars all over! -Isabelle Applebrook

If we’re grinding for kits anyways why not have there be ever so slightly better gear that costs a lot for grinders to aim for and regular gear that’s pretty cheap for everyone else. or at least like, cheap throw-away gear. Why not add chain armor

[!] A notice is pinned by the barn of Amberdell FIREPLACE & CHIMNEY RULES 1: All chimneys must be constructed from brick or stone. 2: All chimneys must have a bit of smoke coming out of them to prove that they are well-used and not idle. 3: All chimneys must have a ladder inside of them so that people who fall into the chimney can climb out or otherwise be impossible to fall into (exceptions can be made for specially built trap-chimneys). 4: Fireplaces are to remain lit whenever possible to avoid burrows becoming cold and unwelcoming. Contents: -New Fertilizer Success -Barter Update -Food Forgets how to Rot New Fertilizer Success! ~A giant carrot in the fields!~ New fertilizers have been used within the farms of Amberdell to grow gigantic crops! These gigantic crops will soon be seen all over the village! Knox bless! Barter Update ~A night at the tavern~ ~Leather recovers in value due to new mining methods improving metal output (thus requiring more leather production to utilize) as well as the recent warfare between big-folk realms increasing demand. ~Meat value increases substantially ever since meat stopped rotting. Travelers can now be spotted eating steaks on their journeys instead of the typical bread and potatoes. Now that meat can serve as a long-term staple food, it may very well replace much of the demand for common foodstuffs. ~Pumpkin value drops due to the Pumpkin-Boring Beetle going extinct for unknown reasons. Rumor has it that they were all killed by bug collectors. Food Forgets how to Rot ~The beach~ Food no longer rots on Azuras! All newly harvested crops seem to be lasting forever! This will have a huge impact on the farming economy and change farming patterns dramatically. Production focuses will shift away from immediate production for local needs and towards mass-farming for filling up stockpiles and granaries of food. If food suddenly remembers how to rot again, however, expect to see many broke wheat investors. That's why I invest in leather, which never knew how to rot from the beginning (PLEASE DO NOT TEACH LEATHER HOW TO ROT IF YOU DO I WILL GO BANKRUPT). This has been the Pumpkin Paper. It’d be cool if we could have cellars to slow food decay like in vintage story

I think tossing out old builds makes less sense than repurposing them. 99% of lotc builds were made solely for use on lotc they aren’t like products being sold elsewhere or anything. They don’t have any market value outside of the server so using them isn’t theft.

The empire’s role on lotc is to be the evil villain just like in Star Wars. So far they are living up to expectations.
