~*~ Death Of A Nation ~*~

The day was coming, came, and left swiftly.

They were killed by something so silent, they did not even notice.

They were killed by themselves.

Their friends and families were murdered in large scale, over-the-top, political, racial and religious wars. The blood of the wars have yet to be washed away by the sands and oceans of time. The heroic actions of some certain soldiers have shaped those sands and waters to this day, even if their names are long gone or regretted.

The land they raised their families on and cultivated from their childhood was sold off for minimal amounts of Minas, just to make ends meet. The tavern which filled their lives with the welcoming smell of freshbaked goods was torn from their hands. The lavish, newly updated Clinic was ripped at the seams for scraps to make small shacks, the sick now not distinguishable from anyone else, the need for a doctor all the more obvious.

The material things they had fell through their hands like the sand and water. The same sand and water which attempted to cleanse their past. Their heirlooms are now lost in the  crowds and chaos that occured as everyone scrambled to leave the horrid walls that were closing on the nation itself. They are now scattered all across Anthos, not recognised for what they truly are.

The people were exectued on a daily basis. The lack of trust caused it to always fall night on the Nation, no matter what the time was on the rest of Anthos. No one was safe in the land where lies created the base of the society. The unstable creaking was heard as the Kings and Queens pranced around, blissfully unaware of what was evident. The royals were the walls, the fake, glass walls that everyone could see through. Those glass walls held up the dream of the people as a whole: a dream of a Nation that was not obtainable by any reasonable standards.

That does not, however, mean they have forgotten their roots.

The people of such a nation will never drain enough blood to lose their connection to their ancestors.

There will never be enough sand to carry away their memories.

There will never be enough water to wash away their pride.

Their eyes will never change their true colors.

Their hair will never fade.

They were once, and always will be, Adunian.

Let it be known, in all of its glory and woes, that the Nation of Adunia has fallen for the last time.

Let it be known, in all of its prestige and humility, that the Nation of Adunia will never be forgotten.

David Campos laughs from Salvus as he hears of the destruction of Adunia. "About time those half breed creatures got what had been coming to them for years. If only Ruska finished the job before the shorties gave them shelter."

"There is problem in my country and that problem was Adunian. But they are gone now. So...now we have no problems in my country..."

Benton stares at the poster, taking it down in his right hand and folding it neatly into his pocket.

"I left at a good time..."
