It's... not needed. Maybe craft time is needed for certain things, but the way it works isn't. Crafting is fine the way it is.

Any chance on changing the name? Not trying to be harsh but calling it nexus is kinda asking it to be associated with the old pvp plugin. From what I'm hearing you're also going to be adding plugins along with this such as a new pvp one, called "nexus pvp" in the future. You're kinda asking for misunderstandings, with similar names to a plugin that wasn't exactly well liked. Meaning it's gonna be associated in some shape or form to the old plugin. Even if it's not wholly relevant.

It's because Nexus PVP was the first part of many that didn't really work because the many that would of supported it were not there.

Nexus-Combat was a crash and burn in regards to community approval, but people calling it "Nexus" was never my fault roflmao. The plugin isn't meant to revolve around combat in any way, except maybe professions and adding on a few things.

 

Nexus-Core is the name of the plugin and all associated subplugins, it was the official name since June of last year for this project. :D

We know it's not the same thing, but calling it nexus will just give people a bad idea of it right off the bat.

Overall I really like this idea, and though a lot of people won't like the change (as human beings tend to dislike it), I think it would be something very cool to have. Now the problem I have is: heatmap didn't work, and this plugin is 100x more complicated than heatmap seems. Isn't this plugin going to cause insane lag or constant rolling crashes?

It looks pretty neat, polished and clean. Though I hope you add more craftable RP items. Kind of like how you've got other kind soups, maybe some sort of tier in blacksmithing where you can split into jewelcrafting and make some fancy things. Or for another example, blacksmiths have options to create different kinds of swords, that are just renamed "Longsword", "Battle Axe" for example. I'm not sure, just to add a variety and stuff.~

It looks fantastic, except for the waiting times. I'd rather not wait five minutes to craft something. What else is going to have a wait time other then armor or combat items?

 

Edit: And the expiry of food....me no likey.

My only idea/question - Would it make more sense to have it be somewhat chance at making higher tier weapons, even at higher levels in professions? 

 

Such as a person with a maxed blacksmith skill would just be able to bring lots of legendary weapons into the game, but if it was a chance to make them it would keep legendary items, well legendary.

Looks pretty cool, but new players are going to have a nightmare... I'm also a bit confused... there's a timer to craft things, but in your video you can craft an entire set of tools in a few seconds. I first thought you were going for a more realistic approach to crafting, but, apparently not. Why have the timer at all, and why not for everything?

 

Longer expiry dates pl0x (at least 7 - 14 irl days)

Fantastic. Just Fantastic! :D I can't wait to get my antlers into this neat plugin! Hope to see more stuff to be added!  I love pretty much everything about this plugin~
