"You were not here, Mr. President, but I have already presented my terms to President Devi. Until they are met, the blockade will not be lifted."

As the conference adjourns, Asrul stays behind and converses with Baker, and it is here that the American offer is made. The king smiles slyly and agrees.

"I would be more than happy to share the Overlord system with the United States, given what you offer. But between the two of us, I think you may find it difficult to make the largest warships in the world when our new flagship launches. The drydock alone took seven years to complete."

He then shakes hands, and leaves for his plane, to return home.

 

Darwin, Australia

The mood at the Darwin megashipyard is one not of celebration, but of reverence. For the last few months, work had been proceeding frantically in the middle of the three huge drydocks. And now, the work had come to fruition. As the INS Retribution exits the dock, it's hard to shake the feeling that the seas have a new master.

 

The Retribution is the first of a new breed of ships: the battlecruiser. It is over twice the length of a Gerald Ford class supercarrier, and built to serve as the sledgehammer of the royal navy. A standard crew consists of 5,000 men, 2000 of which are marines. On its bow are the missile ports, designed to launch Hammerhead missiles at five times the rate of a Vengeance-class destroyer. Its 18 inch deck guns have a large range and pack a large punch, and three torpedo tubes allow it to fight submarines safely. But the most versatile element is the drone bay, which is able to hold up to 300 overlord drones, which launch from a port facing forward and land into a port facing to stern. The first 200 of these drones have been immediately transported here, while the remaining 300 spots will remain empty at least for the next month.

 

The ship is nuclear powered and maintains a moderate cruising speed. After launch, it sails north to join the rest of the fleet. The Darwin shipyard is fitted with three drydocks large enough to build a battlecruiser, but for now, none of them are in use. To use all three at once would be...outrageously expensive, but the option is possible. For the time being, production in Darwin focuses on standard ships, including the new transport and landing craft that has been ordered. Elsewhere, the focus is on submarines and missile destroyers. In Australia, Tsunami and antipersonnel tanks are in production, thanks to the unrivalled manufacturing power of Indonesia. A modified version of the Overlord system is being developed for civilian use, meant to speed the rate of production in Indonesian factories using drones. It isn't expected to take long, as the Overlord system was made to be highly versatile.

 

The first 50 Kiamat tanks are put into production in a specially-made factory in Australia. They are extremely expensive to make, and production moves slowly.

 

The 10 submarines in the Bay of Bengal sail to the west coast of India, and begin a campaign of destruction, attacking commercial and military targets as they sail between Indian ports. The Indian public can do nothing but watch as their harbors are razed by the Indonesians.

 

Argentina's request for a defensive alliance is accepted, and the possibility of sending military aid is under debate.

 

Upon arriving home, King Asrul makes a trip to Indochina too speak with Premier Minh.

"You recently asked my government for a free trade agreement, and I am here to personally accept. But I will not hide an ulterior motive. In the course of our non aggression pact, you have proven yourself a trustworthy man, and I hope I have as well. I do not wish to violently annex any further countries in our region, but my passion for stability and unification remains what it has always been. I am here to offer Indochina a place as a semi-autonomous province of Indonesia, with the right to hold an independent army and full representation in the Indonesian legislature. Mainland Malaysia would be transferred to your sub-government, of course."

President de Guise watched the rest of the proceedings carefully, his goal having finally been achieved. He exchanges satisfied looks with his fellow world leaders as he looks around the room and observes the men around him. He looks down into his tablet, taking care in managing the affairs of France as the King of Spain surrenders to the French's top general. A wide smirk crosses his face and he shoots a short nod in the direction of the American Vice President.

 

The Islamic Caliphate is threatened not to make such demands again or otherwise they may face the wrath of the entire METO alliance. The Port of Gibraltar remains a part of the French Empire.

Progress continues on each of the predetermined projects with a focus on improving the efficiency and combat readiness of man rather than allow weapons of war to be completely in the hands of drones. However unmanned warfare is not completely abandoned and instead drones are to be given a major supporting role in all active combat. Several different types of drones are developed to assist their human counterparts. The most emphasis is put on the Richelieu MK1 which acts as an infantry support drone. Not expected to be put into combat any time soon, the Richelieu has a humanoid build and would have Virtual Intelligence capable of interacting with other humans, but not truly processing its own thoughts. Its introduction to the battlefield would revolutionize infantry-based warfare, and the entire drone industry is subsidized with huge rewards and contracts issued to several French and German companies. 

 

RICHELIEU-MK1

 

French aeronautic programs undergo a massive revival and the space industry is increased in emphasis. Concepts designs of an armed aircraft that can enter and reenter orbit, traveling to the Moon and back, are created however the technology needed would be unlike any ever used before. The hope is to create the fastest aircraft in the history of man to propel the strength of the French Air Force to new heights. The project is codenamed Opération Sarkozy. Early concept designs are drafted for the use of French scientists. However, Sarkozy is not simply an Aeronautic project. Sarkozy features some of the most advanced research in human history, encompassing all fields of technology and science.

The USS George H.W. Bush arrives in the Port of Gibraltar where a ceremony is held to commemorate the addition of a third aircraft carrier. The George H.W. Bush is renamed the Richelieu and immediately undergoes massive renovations that would hopefully be completed by the end of the year. The Spanish carrier Juan Carlos I is renamed the Charlemagne and is also sent to port in Marseille to undergo major renovations. The construction of the world's largest aircraft carrier begins in a dockyard on the coast of Algeria. This carrier will be the greatest naval undertaking in the history of mankind and will be the most heavily armed ship in any navy worldwide. The hope is to assert French Naval dominance in Europe and hopefully surpass the United States in the coming years.

The Islamic Caliphate (Mod Post):

 

 

The Sultan snarls at the ignorance of the French. In the past years, Ibn-Al Mumaar was a lowly beggar with a passion for writing and religion. Now he stood as the Sultan of over 500,000,000 people. With complete control of the government, and by the will of Allah, he had expanded his empire beyond any westerner's wildest dreams. He smirked at his assembled army of over 4,500,000 million infantry - not to mentions nuclear missiles (which even he had the brains not to use), a large navy, and a load of tanks and weapons. Supplied by the Russians, the Caliphate stood at Europe's doorstep. Controlling the richest oil fields in the world, the Caliphate's economy by far out did any other. Using propaganda, the Caliphate turned millions of good, moderate Muslims, into extremists.

 

Without warning, 900,000 Caliphate troops march into Algeria, armed with standard combat equipment and AK-12s. Islamic Guerrilla fighters are also sent into Algeria and ordered to shoot any and all non-Muslims. The soldiers fight savagely, raping and slaughtering everything in their path. Paratroopers land in Algiers. However, the French Army was not to be taken lightly. Another 400,000 troops waited in reinforcement in Egypt. Revenge was sweet and invasion had begun. On a different front, 300,000 troops march into Bulgaria, from Turkey, taking the country easily.

In the meanwhile, the Caliphate establishes a trade embargo on everybody. Oil was no longer being supplied to any nation outside the Caliphate. The Caliphate also declares war on the following nations:

It asks Indonesia to join its conquest. The Sultan says that the Caliphate is much more a trustworthy and stronger ally than Europe or America. It would even launch an invasion into India.

The People's Republic of Sweden

Victory for socialism! With Sweden's help, Norway, Denmark, Greenland and Iceland are taken over by socialist governments! Sweden asks that the countries uphold their promises they made to Sweden, and ask they join the SUNS, a tight-knit military, economic, and diplomatic union that would reach from North Europe all the way to Greenland. The rise of the Islamic Caliphate is impressed on these countries and the resulting need for unity with it. ((MOD REQ TO SEE IF THEY ACCEDE))

Speaking of which, the Islamic Caliphate was troubling indeed. They declared war on an ally, France, and thereby declared war on them. The trade embargo mattered not to Sweden; they relied on hydroelectric energy mostly anyway, and now that Norway was socialist, they had no need for Middle Eastern oil. Regardless, SWEDEN DECLARES WAR ON THE ISLAMIC CALIPHATE. For now, however, Swedish forces wait in Sweden, until after the formation of the SUNS.

Times were changing, and most of it for the good. Egypt was and will remain a part of the Islamic Caliphate, but Muhammad maneuvered Egypt into having almost full independence. Following the increasing waves of violence, the Suez was closed to all military ships but the IC itself. The French forces still blockading trade in the red sea were trapped, to retreat would be to risk crossing the Suez, and to move forward would enter the jaws of the Indian or IC navy.

 

Following the call for Jihad on Europe, Muhammad contributes 100,000 well trained troops and 1,000 tanks for the campaign against the French in Algeria. A draft is ordered, with a million sons and daughters expected to be swept up. Calling for a state wide Jihad as well, hard lines all across Egypt came to recruitment centers. The ranks began to slowly swell, as more and more Egyptians were prepped to go fight the IC's wars. 

 

Egyptian navy elements begin to link up with other IC nations, and they rivaled the power of the Europeans individual navy's. Tank and Artillery units line the Suez, ready to make good on their promise to block it to all nation's navies.

GREATER GERMANY

 

With the annexation of Austria, the whole of Germany celebrates. So much so, the Fourth Reich is born, and out of pure happiness, approval and positivism, Chancellor Hans Wulfgang is subjected to Supreme Chancellor of Greater Germany. The Reichstag resumes it's place as the head of the German government, and goes under renovation. 

 

The 50,000 troops around Vienna move on, leaving some to continue order around the country. Motorized infantry and tank divisions roll on eastwards, reaching Slovakia within a day. Their pitifully weak army stood even less of a chance than the Austrians, with fighter jets scanning the ground for even an attempt at resistance. Encompassing Bratislava less than a day after the fall of Austria, Wulfgang delivers them the same demand - become financially supported and a part of Greater Germany, or face needless annihilation - but, of course, in more polite words. Even as he spoke, a larger detachment of tanks and reserves -  including the first Rommel-IIs to be used in action, all 160 of them - swing round to the Czech Republic, with the same terms as given to Austria and now Slovakia. Resistance was likely, but the elite renovated German Army could and would show force, if push came to shove. All in all, this joining of border states would hopefully convince Hungary and/or Poland that a union with Greater Germany would mean good things for them all. As such, an offer of annexation is sent to Hungary, but Poland is instead invited to join METO and become a sister state with Germany, including a sharing of economies and militaries.

As the founder of METO, action was required. Wulfgang called for an emergency meeting on how to best handle the Islamic threat. In the Reichstag, ideas of crippling their oil supply, aerial attacks, naval blockades and even nuclear warfare were being thrown around. The German navy, situated in the North Sea, begin to sail round to the Mediterranean in order to ensure no Islamic Caliphate ships made the crossing through the Suez. The four German submarines try and sail through to the Black Sea and Istanbul, ordered to sink any ship trying to make the passage. Fighter jets begin to bombard key military positions in Turkey, destroy shipyards and blow up ports. Yes, they had millions of crazed soldiers, but most of said soldiers were previously farmhands ploughing opium in some field in Iraq. Many of them were untrained still, just militants given a gun and told to shoot. The Germans had scrapped the Human Rights act already, and so - in  a private message to all METO members collectively - Wulfgang said his mind.

 

"My fellow leaders.

We are fighting a ruthless, despicable, cruel foe. A foe that is omnipresent in a quarter of the world. A foe that taints the minds of ordinary men, turning them to blood-thirsty slaughterers. A foe that will not rest until even scrap of Western Civilization is burnt to ashes. This foe, is radical Islam. We aren't fighting a creation of man, we're fighting a cult, an entire religion. It's followers are not an organised army, nor an obvious foe. They could be hiding within any crowd, waiting to pounce.

 

In order to combat ruthlessness, we must fight fire with fire. I hereby announce that the German Armed Forces have scrapped the rules of engagement against this foe. If our soldiers feel threatened, see a hostile, or even presume they may be a threat to said soldier's platoon, they may use any force necessary to eliminate the threat. We hope you follow suit."

"Whilst I agree that a united opposition is necessary both to our own securities and prosperities, and for the greater good of the world, I don't believe we should combat acts of savagery and barbarity with equal responses. To do so would be to condemn ourselves both in regards to morality and to pragmatism; the people of the world will unite behind a faction they see as ethically sound, not one that is just as bad as their opponent.

Regardless of how other states shall battle the threat of the Islamic Caliphate, not

Islam, Sweden will continue to abide by the rules of engagement; no innocents shall be killed. But do not mistake this for meekness. Once Sweden commits and once the enemy is recognised, no quarter shall be given.

Anyway, enough of ethics, strategy is in order. There are two points where the caliphate threatens Europe: North Africa and Greece. Whilst North Africa is the source of the more immediate threat to the METO, we mustn't forget the latter. We must ensure we protect Greece lest the horde overcomes us from the east. Italy would be of great help in ensuring this doesn't come to pass.

Also, we must make sure we work with the US, India and China. Despite past friction with India and the US, them and China are the most populous nations in the world with some of the largest militaries, we need them on our side if we are to win.

In regards to ourselves, we need to ensure we have naval supremacy in the Mediterranean, particularly in the east. Cyprus will be important and as such we must have it under our control as a forward base of operations. Again, Italy's help and control of the central Mediterranean will important on the North African front.

For land movements, France should try to hold Algeria for as long as possible, but the Gibraltar strait will be of much greater importance to hold on the European side. Likewise, we need to assist Greece in holding the east, so support in taking Istanbul may be in order. To summarise land, for now we must try and use the defensiveness of both straits on either point of danger to our advantage. Let the caliphate's waves break against the stone of our defence at these points."

With that, Karl takes his seat again.

Sweden sends alliance offers to the US and CHINA in order to better co-ordinate against and subdue the threat of the Islamic Caliphate.

War had finally come and the Foreign Legion was ready. They had been preparing for this moment and now the Islamic Caliphate had brought it upon themselves, rather than force an offensive against the Caliphate. Despite their clear numerical disadvantage, the French military and its METO allies stood at the ready and fought to defend their newly acquired territory. It was time to test the New French Foreign Legion. The first group lands along the Libyan coast, numbering a staggering 200,000 strong. They are supported by the French Leclerc and Rafael fighters. The Napoleon II artillery piece was prepared for its first combat effectiveness. 

 

THE NEW FOREIGN LEGION

They move with ruthless efficiency through the Libyan coastal cities, taking advantage of advanced tactics and technology to suppress the enemy wherever they might attempt to strike. The new Foreign Legion slaughters without mercy, taking into account no amount of collateral damage. If the Caliphate wanted to execute Christians without prejudice then so would the French, and they were good at it. 

 

The 200,000 man strong garrison in Algeria dug in and drug the Islamic offensive to a halt as the French Air Force began to ruthlessly strike the advancing Caliphate forces and inflicting devastating casualties. LeClerc tanks advance slowly as well and move to encircle the nearly 1,000,000 Caliphate troops whom did not use any advanced tactics making the pinsir technique an effective slaughter. 

 

The Napoleon II was put into action, which was the true mechanism that turned the tide the Islamic offensive into an Islamic route. Capable of striking from hidden locations over 200 miles away and using guided satellite imagery, the Napoleon struck advancing Islamic columns with incredible precision and killing efficiency. Many historians would later say that it would be the Napoleon II that would win the war in Algeria.

 

The naval fleet in the Gulf of Oman had long since returned home and now the fleet is deployed to crush the meager Islamic fleet which could not compete with such a dominant European naval powerhouse. The Charles de Gaulle launched Harriers from its flight deck that struck key coastal positions all along the Mediterranean coast while missile destroyers pounded Islamic Caliphate strongholds to prevent troop movements. 

 

METO MEETING

 

The French Minister of Foreign Affairs enters the METO meeting with a bit of swagger in his step, his face looking cool and collected. His first message is very simple: 

 

"The French will handle the shits in Africa. Push them the **** out of Europe and turn them into dust."

The Italian Front

The Italian air-fleet entered Turkish airspace in the middle of German strikes, their new stealth helicopters swooped in low, invisible to the Muslims until they were in visible distance, Alpini paratroopers dropped into the land surrounding Istanbul, securing the countryside from any Islamic "military" within a matter of hours. Soon tanks and artillery would roll in from the METO lands of Greece. Until then airstrikes on the city of Istanbul were fierce and plentiful, taking handfuls of lives. Behind the German Subs came a fleet of 13 Italian Destroyers and 1 Aircraft carrier. From there they pelted the Bosporus Straight with heavy artillery and drone-strikes. The remaining Balkan states of Romania, Bulgaria, and Serbia are offered to join under the strengthened Republic, because if they did not come to the Italian's aid under The Republic and ETO they would surely perish beneath the Muslim armies. And that a world much worse than living under a fair and just Republic with fair representation. The Islamic Caliphate would not penetrate Europe, the Balkans would be protected by Italian Saviors, and the city of Constanipople would be recaptured by the Roman Empire's Descendants, their true founders and protectors.

The Kingdom of Indonesia The Oceanic Imperium

 

 

Northern Sumatra: One year after the peace conference

 

 

"The day of destiny has arrived." Asrul stands on a balcony at the great fortress of Sumatra, speaking to a legion of troops marching toward the coast. While Europe was roiling in turmoil as the Islamic Caliphate launched their invasion, Indonesia had reached new heights of power. "Today we bring judgement to our foolish neighbors. Together we have made our realm into the greatest on the planet, and today we shall show all who stand against us that this is so. Today we finally show the world the true power of the Empire!" One week prior, in a maneuver designed to both better reflect the diverse makeup of the kingdom, and to reflect the power that it wielded, Asrul had proclaimed himself Emperor of Oceania. And now, he was setting out to make his mark on the world.

 

Directly offshore was the Indonesian fleet: 150 of the empire's massive transports, ready to sail along with 40 corvettes, 32 frigates, and 20 missile destroyers. Dwarfing all other ships in the fleet is the INS Retribution, the largest military vessel in the world and the pride of the country. Onshore were fully two million soldiers of the Imperial Army, massed in great formations as they board landing craft which take them to the motherships. Extra space had been allotted for the vast quantities of war materiel that was being transported as well. The first 50 kiamat tanks were already on board, along with hundreds of unmanned Tsunami tanks and antipersonnel tanks. Within two days, the fleet is ready to sail, and it does.

 

Almost anyone asked that day would have said that the empire would invade India. But the Indian subcontinent had already been beaten into the ground. With no trade to speak of, the governemnt had no money, and with the Islamic Caliphates embargo, they had no oil, either. The old enemy could not sail to Indonesia, and if it wished to invade Indochina it would have to do so on foot. In short, India was crippled, and was not considered an immediate threat. And so the emperor had other plans in mind.

 

 

The armada sails around Malaysia instead, and turns north. By the time the ships are sighted off the coast of China, it's already too late. The first landings happen near Hong Kong: as a hail of missiles bombards any military targets in the area, Overlord drones cover the landing sites while ensuring air superiority. The first landing is at Macau, where 500 Tsunami tanks are the first thing to hit the shore. Wiping out any resistance, they clear the way for the infantry: 300,000 men, arriving in the newly designed landing craft. Once a beachhead is established and they begin to push inland, the heavier vehicles come ashore in the form of 100 antipersonnel tanks, and finally 10 kiamats, the largest and heaviest tank in the world.

 

The second landing targets Hong Kong itself, as another 500 Tsunami tanks storm the beaches. The total amount of infantry backing this attack is much larger, totalling 600,000 men. They are followed by 150 antipersonnel tanks and another 10 kiamat tanks.

 

The third and final landing on the mainland throws an additional 600,000 men just north of Hong Kong, where population is thinner. Again, 500 Tsunami tanks clear the beaches for the landing force, which is supported by no less than 30 kiamat tanks.

 

The rest of the force divides from the fleet and sails to Taiwan, where the last 500,000 men land accompanied by 500 Tsunami tanks and the remainder of the antipersonnel and kiamat tanks. They quickly press north from the southern tip of the island, hoping to take it quickly so their attention can be diverted to the mainland.

 

As these landings take place in the north, an additional 1 million troops, supported by standard armor divisions and air force, cross the China-Vietnam border, and push to join the main force at Guangzhou. At home, inactive army divisions are called up, bringing an extra 1 million men into the army, although they are not assigned for now.

 

The invasion was not expected to be all too difficult: China, like India, was starved for oil, and without Indonesian imports they too would be crippled.

Indochina's accceptance greatly pleases the emperor, and Oceania moves quickly to establish the imperial bureacracy. Badai troopers are seen often as they keep a close eye on the reforms. The independent Indochinese military is given access to all imperial technology, and instructions are given to fortify the border against Indian aggression.  ((Brad, please outline Indochina in my color on the map to show it's under Oceanic control.))

 

With the Caliphate's oil embargo, the price of oil increases hugely, and Indonesian oil companies are able to rake in massive profits. All oil-importing countries are supplied, but they are forced to spend large parts of their budget on it, while Indonesia grows to further and further dominate global commerce. An offer is made to Germany to buy the designs for their exoskeleton armor, as well as to France to buy the plans for their shock troop's HUD helmet.

 

With the advent of drones in manufacturing, imperial output soars, and the shipyard in Darwin is able to begin production on an entirely new batch of ships, while inland factories move production of Overlord drones into the thousands. Due to the continuing surplus of funds, a second battlecruiser is commissioned. The Tsunami tanks prove themselves on the battlefield in China, and as they require no manpower and are relatively cheap to produce, their construction is scaled up as well.

 

30,000 of the 1st division of Badai troopers board two transport vessels and set sail west accompanied by three missile destroyers, steering clear of India.

 

A message is sent to the Caliph, graccefully accepting whatever help he is willing to give in the East.

 

Macquerie Island, Southern Ocean

Dr. Hidayat was satisfied with his progress. The first shipment had arrived months ago from Australia: 200 political prisoners, unaware of their location or what was to be done to them. Of those, only 70 remained. But those 130 deaths had not been wasted. With each test, the particular strain he was looking at spread more quickly, but it killed faster. It had to be controlled. But how...

Prince William looked at the bright flashing screen in his car the head lines flashed "Caliphate declares war on METO." Britain had been relatively quite and steadily growing since the collapse of the EU. The United States of America

 

Ha. The Islamic Caliphate had already embargoed the United States. They suffered a depression because of it, and now they were back on their feet, using clean and renewable energy. With the Caliphate's declaration of war on the U.S, America guarded its eastern front with mines, submarines, and carriers. A little wary of Indonesia's betrayal of China, America heavily increased fortifications in the Pacific Islands as well - the last stand they had before a potential U.S invasion. Over 800,000 heavily armored, trained, and equipped soldiers made their way on Nimitz-carriers and submarines. Although they fortified themselves, the U.S maintained friendly relations with Indonesia.

 

 

American food and Red Cross rations are sent to Europe to aid their effort against the Caliphate. Foreign aid is given to UAA and they are asked to join the fight against the Caliphate. Rebel groups are encouraged and armed. Although the U.S isn't directly involved, they try their best bringing down the looming threat.

American Scientists make the same offer the Indonesians did and ask for German mech-suits, in exchange for money and aid to be shipped in their invasions of neighboring countries and fight against the Caliphate. The New Empire of China

 

 

The Empire of Oceania, they called themselves. Men from holes in the ground and tiny islands in the Pacific, General Ng called them. Earlier that day he had walked into Beijing and planted the flag of Hong Kong. Now he and almost four million troops looked south towards what appeared to be a massive invasion. Modernization of China had happened spectacularly quickly, all cities now boasting technology similar to that of other nations. A few hours later, with the force of China's armies camped in Nanjing, he hears the news of Hong Kong and Macau instantly falling while Taiwan was holding onto only its northern half, where large amounts of bunkers originally meant to fight mainland China house Taiwan's domestic armies. Huge amounts of rioting begin in the streets, ultra-nationalist Chinese beginning to attack barracks and encampments at night.

 

"They believe that we are starved for oil, I suppose. War requires ample knowledge of your enemy, though. Even the internet knows that we produce half what we use each day without rationing, and that we have twenty five billion barrels in storage between Nanjing and Beijing. I had thought that the Indonesian leader had been smarter and more honorable. Guess not."

 

The armies outside of Dandong move south, while the main force rallies in Nanjing. The two Chinese superfleets, one that had been in Nanjing and one between Indonesia and America, begin to sweep around. The one outside of the Indonesian homeland, all but forgotten in the course of recent events, starts to bombard industry centers in Australia. The one in Nanjing sails out to attack the Indonesian fleet outside of Taiwan. An estimated 750 craft are in the water total, and twenty million barrels of oil are used in the course of a single day. Rationing begins in major cities, every common commuter forced to take public transportation. Streets are empty except for walkers.

 

At the same time, a massive recruitment drive begins in the countryside, where every person old enough to hold a gun is given one and sent south. An estimated two million are recruited each day, ranging in age from 16-50, and of both genders. Industrial centers that had gone inactive in Northern China are revved up to amp military production. General Ng, with the giant Chinese army sprawled around Nanjing, makes a speech.

 

"Today we have been gravely injured by those we thought allies. They attack my family's ancestral birthplace, and half of the country. They expect us to go down easily, expect us to lie down and die. They have superior tanks, but for each tank they have we have three RPGs. For every soldier they have we have four. Each citizen must do their part if we are to win this war, and on my honor we will. Drastic times call for drastic measures, an American saying says. Troops, I ask that you defend your country to your dying breath, to protect your families and rise above weakness. Citizens of China, I ask that you not sit down and let them burn your homes and your livelihoods. Fight back!"

 

The Chinese armies begin to march south to fight back, splitting into two groups of 2 million troops, one heading for the Indochinese border and the other for Hong Kong and Macau. The one heading for Guangdong, estimated to arrive in four days, is headed by General Ng himself. It holds Taiwan is told not to retreat, and its troops fight to the last breath against the Indonesians, going so far as to suicide bomb the invaders.
