On this day, The Privy Council of Oren has announced a

Declaration of Regency

to be put into effect immediately.

 

The Privy Council has elected Vasili Vanir as Lord Regent, to hold court and power over the Kingdom of Oren in this time of crisis.

 

The Privy has announced the 15th of the First Seed to be a national day of mourning. 

 

Ave Oren. Ave Humanity.

Lorina had written those words in her diary just a few weeks ago. A feeling of strange guilt washed over her as she read the declaration of regency. As it turned out, House Vydra had not lasted long at all. A few scant years - and Andrik had left no heirs. Vydra was, for all intents and purposes, gone forever. Erased.

"Did I curse him by accident?" Lorina asked herself, looking at the pages of her diary. Closing the leather bound notebook, she gazed up at the notice of regency. With a solemn frown, she bowed her head. "May you find peace in the Seven Skies, my king."
