Californian Dominion

 

(Catch-up post, some of these things would have been started while I was gone from home for a week and plans for them were written up before and shown to Pok. I might have missed some events or stuff, pm me if you see any fallacies.)

 

For a few years, the NCR was silent except for the expected help in TRAC endeavours. But silent was no synonym to idle. Behind the thick walls protecting the nation, the fires on industry did not abate as the minds of its many scientists kept working hard on its various projects.

 

The Dominion dropship dubbed ‘Normandy’ began production the instant plans were finalized. While about two-dozen are fitted with stealth equipment and active cloaking as well as ways to hide their thermal output as much as possible, the rest are prepared for active war-zones.

 

With microwave laser point defense, twin railgun/chaingun turrets, a collection of missiles and conventional flares they can easily be retrofitted into gunships to support attacks. Many are created with the revolutionary line-drop tactic which involved hooking soldiers by a small buckle on the back of their armor to the ship and dropping them with a cable to slow their descent. This allows for near-instant deployment in hot-zones and easier deployment in confined areas. Jetpack units do not even bother with these cables and are capable of simply being launched in a fly-by.

 

Faster than conventional helicopters, more resistant and only a tad less mobile it quickly replaced most methods of aerial troop transports in the Dominion arsenal.

 

The Tali air-supremacy fighter would be meant to replace all F-22X’s and the ambition is for them to become the best air-dominance fighter on the globe. While a human can control them, they are mostly guided by a VI implanted directly within the ship. They have two 30mm railgun cannons and one chaingun as well as the usual amount of missiles and flares, etc.

 

Their biggest strength however is the high-strain resistance of their metals and the lack of a pilot, allowing them to pull moves that would knock out or kill a pilot in a conventional aircraft. To facilitate manoeuverability they also have a few thrusters positioned in strategic locations. These fighters are also engineered to be better at absorbing or bouncing off randomly, radar signals to make them harder targets for AA. It is also hoped that their extreme manoeuverability coupled with a VI’s calculating mind and the humans support will allow them to dodge missiles and generaly dominate the skies. While not the best suited for land strikes, their twin 30mm cannons should probably pose a serious threat to any armor on the ground while their missiles can, if properly equipped, hit surface targets. They too quickly replace most of the Dominion air fleet except for specialized surface-attack planes.

 

Work is already going into fitting Project Zero into them upon completion.

With the end of two large technological projects, new ones are now worked on in the Dominion. Namely, experts begin to research a Coilgun/Railgun hybrid to ever-increase their already highly advanced railguns. The first models, much like the first railguns, would be large pieces of equipment and should be capable of using their VI targeting systems to take-out satellites with solid projectiles sent up at incredible speeds. In the dry-docks of the Space station orbiting earth, the construction of a new class of space-ship begins. The focus of these will be ressource transportation through space.

 

 

A space freighter labelled as ‘Hercules’ class, it will go from space station to space station, taking minerals and other important materials to ship them around. It is expected that at least four will be built, each one named after one of the Dominion states. California, Arizona, Nevada and Oregon. However, while nations across the planet take baby-steps into the great void, the weaponizing of certain space vessels does not go unnoticed by the Dominion and a second variant of these freighters is built, which is more heavily armored, has more than a few simple tank-class railguns and microwave laser point defense.

 

It also has 30mm cannons, chainguns, one large ship-sized railgun as well as a few more tanks sized railgun turrets. It is designed to work in synchronization with project Infinity, as is the freighter.

 

Both these would also be orientated towards working with project Zero. (12)

 

When the Union States fell under Russian grip, the Dominion scientists did not leave empty-handed. Indeed, upon receiving the intel about the imminent take-over they acted quickly, using advanced VI’s to slip past firewalls from directly within the lab itself (Already bypassing many of the toughest ones) and extracting data on LION and RAPTOR before packing their bags and making a quick exit for the Dominion, through the CSA.

 

Once they returned home, they would unpack the data and finalize what parts of the projects they could in their own turf.

 

Titan

 

A base was established and facilities set up shortly after the Australian and NBC ones. While smaller in scale than the others, it too focused on mining and an offer was sent to both nations to begin the construction of roads between them to facilitate transport. They also request a joint project to create a space station in orbit around the planet and ask the two nations to assist them.

 

Many essentials for survival are set up, however comfort is one of the lowest priorities on the Dominion list and their base is probably much less welcoming and easy to live in than the two other ones. The main focus is on extracting the precious resources. Many of those sent there are well aware that they will never return home.

 

Mars

 

The S.P.E.A.R expedition continues to expand as the Dominion shares the data found in the Nazi bunker with its closest allies, the CSA and Australia after having those in the known sign a strict confidentiality act.

 

As much data as possible is recorded, stored and sent back to earth with the heaviest encryption known to the TRAC. Back there, everything is thoroughly analyzed by the best the nations can provide, while on Mars work is put into getting an adequate translator up, and once that is done, begin researching the library.

 

The Dominion is insistent on finding all the scraps of tech, blueprints or data that it can and that remains the primary focus of the people in the base. However, specialized groups do work on finding out as much as they can about this world's history, its geography and the location of other bases around the solar system and even perhaps beyond.

 

The base itself is expanded and now has a well fortified bunker as a core, with a mining facility growing outside. At the current time, the number of workers and various types of soldiers on the base number in the upper 300 and two REX’s as well as 5 EMU’s are on the base, accompanied by a discreet convoy of 20 Terminators.

 

More and more expansive scouting continues around the base, and the radars and constant small-scale space station around Mars detects the second Japanese/Chinese landing on Mars. It reminds them of the stipulation of their accord, that only the first base will have a certain radius of territory around it belonging to it.

 

Meanwhile, two Dominion officials are sent to the British space station for the meeting. However, their stay is relatively brief and they are there more to observe the inner workings of the british spaceship than anything else.

 

Corsica

After long months of observation, the operation is finally launched as the men in the city around Saeed’s fortified base have fed large amounts of intel to the Dominion. A dropship is sent into Iberia in a cargo ship under the guise of humanitarian aid. Within it is a black operations team, augmented and in high-end HATE armor. Under strict orders to destroy their equipment and die rather than fall into enemy hands, they take off in the cloaked dropship from Iberia and fly very low, letting the VI use precision piloting for the part. The stronger radar in the stealth variant allow them to escape the notice of boats and they fly low enough to avoid radar.

 

Once near Saeed’s fortified base, one of the men pulls out a Hades sniper and, using intel gathered by operatives on the field, takes out the proper guards at the proper times to give them a small window of attack. The dropship is far enough for the noise of the supersonic bullets to be non-audible in the base, mixed as it is with the waves and the city.

 

Once done, the dropship soars in on muted motors and launches its men before shooting off to take cover while they launch their operation. The five men make their way through the gap given to them by the sniper and slip into the building, using vague rumours pulled from drunk servants in restaurants or careless guards to navigate the expansive fort. Should all go according to plan, they would slip up to Saeed’s own quarters, taking out the guards they need to and avoiding them when they can. They would then try to incapacitate Saeed and while one man carried him over his shoulder, the others would cover their retreat to a wall near the coast.

 

As soon as a message was sent to the dropship, it would soar in and tear a previously calculated wall open before roaring up and letting the men jump in while its turrets and the snipers covered it. The men would jump in with Saeed and once again the cloaked vessel would tear across the sea. A fishing ship would gather the men and Saeed should they not be followed and soon after the dropship would land back in a pre-decided place in Iberia to be shipped back with the cargo-ship.

 

Of course, should one man fall, the others would make sure he was at least severely damaged before leaving, to make any technological retrieving complicated. On par with most Dominion operations.

 

If Saeed did make it back safely to the Dominion, the interrogation would begin…

 

Eastern Russia, somewhere

Another dropship tore across the pacific as its carrier powered back to Dominion waters. Stealthed as it reached the Russian coast and slipped beneath the Chinese fleets radar it went deep into russia, aiming for the some of the cities nearest to nuclear reactors where rumors had spread of certain radiation immune people.

Inside the ship, two large cages and two smaller ones as well as one EMU mech and five Terminators. When they land, they would begin looking for either the beasts talked about by Russia Today or immune people in the ghost cities and ruins of nearby villages and cities while the Dropship took cover in a secluded area, ready to ship them back at a moments notice. Nearly immune to radiation and deep within Russian territory the Terminators would stay as long as it took to get two of each specimen before returning to the Dominion.

 

Oregon & Utah

Much like all annexed Dominion regions, these two states undergo the same treatment that California and Nevada did. Military assets shut down the borders immediately and begin preliminary walls. However for a short while it is possible for people to slip through the tight surveillance.

 

The army brutally crushes any rebellions while the well-oiled propaganda machine pumps out the benefits of living within the Dominion. The power it holds and the technological advantages it can flaunt over other nations. While the army pacifies these two states, builders begin to bring them up to normal Dominion standards and the people are only gradually slipped into the authoritarian regime. However, Schwarz Polizei already stalk the cities, seeking seditious people and casting an aura of uncertainty, where even your neighbour could be a spy for the Dominion. This tactic will be used to keep everybody subdued and afraid for their own family while children are put into the Arnoldian Youth, mentally handicapped people are sent to labor camps named 'Rehabilitation Camps' (That have extensive propaganda boasting their benefits) where they are experimented upon and worked to death.

 

Many people are won over by the advanced medical capacities of the Dominion found in their bionics and augments. However, the borders between these states and the original Dominion ones remains closed and vigilant for the time being.

 

CSA/Dominion border in Arizona

 

"This seems...adequate," says the guard on the border, looking from the Caucasian woman to her papers, then back at a thin tactile screen hidden from view. She had been standing there for an hour as he double and triple checked her papers, asking her a plethora of questions that she answered adequately. He nods sharply and taps a command into his keyboard. With a hiss, a small door opens within the large one and two guards step out, motioning the woman forward.

 

Once she crosses the border, and she enters the Dominion the scene truly changes very little. The only difference is that the road is now made out of strange panels that seems to glow lightly in the sun. 

 

A man dressed in officers garb walks up to her. Without the facemask, augments are clearly visible in his face and body. Both eyes have dark likes of circuitry in them and his neck has a lattice of wiring working its way up.

 

He looks at her with cold eyes before nodding and motioning her forwards. "In front of me."

 

The two guards take a few steps back while he inspects her for a few minutes without even blinking. "Mary Goodrich, CSA, requesting citizenship in the Dominion, answered all questions flawlessly, correct documentation. Young, alone. Curious."

 

He lifts a finger and both soldiers raise their rifles, points them at her back with the ominous click of safeties going off. "How could a young woman like you know so much about the inner workings of Dominion society?" He takes a step forward and a dangerous gleam appears in his eyes. "How come you are eager to live here, with no purpose other than settling down? A perfect Dominion citizen... Outside of the Dominion."

 

He turns his back to her and walks away, snapping his fingers at the two guards. They both pull their triggers at the same time and the Hades weapon bullets rip into the young womans unprotected back, shredding her tender flesh into a bloody mess. With a gasp, she falls to her knees, clutching her abdomen as her life leaks from the gaping holes in her back.

The Australasian Federation

 

The Generations Guide On Mechanized Warfare, by Doctor Rudd

 

With India and Australia respectively pioneering Mechanized Walkers into the Military, India with the Tandon Drone and Australia with the EMU. They are known as the First Generation of Mechanized Walkers, now as a scientist who has worked on the Second Generation Mech known as REX in Australia I would like to clarify the Generations terminology of Mechanized Walkers.

Generations is a term used in the Australasian Federation as a classification rather than what is more advanced than another. In terms of the First Generation it is the Generation designed to make Mechs ranging from five to eight meters tall which are primarily focused on Anti-Infantry and limited Anti-Armor warfare. While the Second Generation acts mostly as a multipurpose weapons platform that is much more expensive and tends to require the support of First Generation Model Mechs.

Now the Third Generation is something of debate among engineers and scientists in the field of research in terms of making Mechanized Walkers. My own theory despite not being part of any research project concerning a Third Generation is that it is a unit that isn't limited to simply Ground Warfare and can be used elsewhere, most likely being the Ocean making it a Marine Weapon alongside being a Ground weapon. This is not to say a Second Generation Mech cannot destroy a Third Generation but it makes the Third Generation more of an innovative weapon which will assist in dominating more than one kind of battlefield.

 

In the Federation

 

The Insurgency on Papua Island continues, with troops in the Special Region not adhering to conventional tactics, nor adhering to moral warfare knowing the rebels wouldn't adhere to any rules, learning from the mistakes of the US in their wars against insurgents. However the Command feel as if this is more of a distraction rather than a fully fledged rebellion.

 

In the vast open spaces the Solar Power project is developed in earnest, this project will ensure renewable energy becomes a lot more relevant in the sunny nation. 

A response is sent back to the Union States, the Australasian Federation doesn't wish to cede Alaska back to the Union States after the Russian Incident.

 

Offers from the Californian Dominion concerning Titan are accepted, with roads and a Space Station much like Sydney Station to be constructed over the Planet, however the new Space Station would take quite a long time to complete.

 

Missives are sent to California, Britannia and Japan concerning marking out a spot on Mars for the Australasian Federation to make its Martian Colony, being sure to mark it in a spot which is within the agreed radius of other bases. It picks a spot that directly borders the Californian Dominion's territory on Mars. Since Australasia Signed the Original Mars deal with the other nations it is only natural it prepares for its own Martian Base to be built.

 

Sydney Station (Earth Orbit)

The Sydney Station was a marvel of Australasian Engineering, acting as a docking station, space dry dock, and a defense platform it was the marvel of the Federation. Armed with Missiles, Lasers and Rail Guns to stop incoming Missiles or other projectiles hitting it nothing was taking down the station anytime soon.

 

The Australasian Federation begin a project building two motherships, adapted from British Designs to start building up its own Space Fleet. The Californian Dominion is currently the only other Nation who has leased out the other Dry Docks in the Station. (( 15 pages ))

Republic of India

 

Tandon had the widest smile on his face after he had won the reelection in the Republic, the only country he didn't win the majority of was Pakistan who was still bitter that he had conquered them. He could barely hold his excitement as his now orbital weapon/ space station is launched into space, a first for India. Indians and people in the Republic were ecstatic at the launch of a space station. 

 

The tech received from the Chinese was greatly appreciated, they start to produce the suits for all Eastern Bloc members outside of the ICC. Most suits go to the elite task force that The Far East Empire and India had established years ago. 

 

The southern part of Madagascar is purchased from Japan, the construction of dry docks and many ship yards begin on the coast along with the construction of an electric 12-foot fence with barbed wire lining the top along the land border and inside the inner part of the India land.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA

The Imperium Britannia would, indeed, survive, it looked like as the Imperium began to produce and install Swedish-made radiation scrubbers across Imperium controlled territory.

Relief supplies are delivered to Great Britain, Ireland, Iberia, and France, as the huge amounts of food, water, clothing, and shelter begin to pour in.

Many British children would be delivered to safety in South Africa, in order to get them away from the horrors of the European continent. However, this would only be on the condition that the South African government allow them to form separate refugee colonies away from their cities, and that they allow the British government to set up their own schools in order to educate the children, as they do not want any foreign power, even an ally, to be put in such a dangerous position of twisting the future of the British people.

The Order of St. George is given the task of organizing this humanitarian effort, and they would take advantage of the situation by setting up Catholic schools in order to educate the children of Britannia in the doctrines of the Catholic Church and of God if the South Africans accept these conditions allow them to set up these refugee colonies on their shores.

Prime Minister George Lancaster issues a response speech to the Union.

"Mister President, your call for democracy is noble, yet confusing.

Democracy already exists in Europe. Britannia, in fact, is amongst the more democratic nations of the land. All laws must be passed by parliament, and the Empress is very, very far from a dictator; she is best described as being a dual executive, like myself, in the eyes of the Government. The true power lies with the people, the commoners; we are a Constitutional Monarchy, governed by Parliament and ruled by the Queen, just has we have been for the past six-hundred years.

Our Imperial Parliament gives every province of our Empire (The United Kingdom, Iberia, Newfoundland, Normandy, Hong Kong, and possibly Jewish Cyprus should they vote for admission) untampered representation in a democratic body.

We are not an Empire; we are an Imperium of Realms ruled under the Union Jack. Save for Normandy, which was ceded to us by Germany, every area of Britannia has willingly, no, has happily joined our realm. We are more like a federation than an Empire, much more similar to say, Australia, than to Germany. Our realms have complete internal autonomy; all we manage for them are external affairs. Together, we are strong, so together we operate. Together we fight, and share resources between each other. We are a Commonwealth, just as the old British Empire was.

Now, there are countries in Europe that do not embrace democratic ideals, but the majority of these countries do. The Greco-Roman State and the Slavic Confederation, notably, are free republics, not Empires nor monarchies ruled by absolute dictators.

Britannia has done much in the name of democracy over the past 30 years; please, let us keep at it, slowly but surely, as the original father of modern democracy, and you will see promising results within the next three decades, I assure you."

The Empress had watched the formation of the Far Eastern Empire, and the rise of Australia and China in space.

Britannia was going to lose it's edge as the King of the Stars if they didn't do something quickly. Despite all their pain and suffering, the British people weren't willing to let this happen.

Not under ANY circumstance was this to happen. Never against would Britannia decline as it had in the past. The gods themselves could not strip them of their glory.

Two new motherships, the HMS Starlit Crown and the HMS Enterprise, were to be constructed in orbit around Victoria Station, in unison with the new Prometheus Class Assault Carrier already in production. ((15 Pages))

Meanwhile, interplanetary shuttles owned by the Imperium begin to set to work on a new task: creating a colony at Central Base on Europa.

Materials, supplies, plant seeds, and cryofrozen volunteer citizens would be shipped over to Europa, along with some construction drones, would be ferried to the Central Base at Europa by these shuttles, and construction on a colony begins. It is to be named, conveniently, Atlantis. ((6 Turns))

The British government plans, at long last, to release information on the existence of the ruins of Atlantis to the public. But only after the colony has been established.

Meanwhile, at Victoria Station, the Spy from California would have managed to gain a position aboard the arguably most grand space station in Earth Orbit.

The British government eyes the new Indian Superweapon with anxiety. They ask for assurance from India that they will not use it on other powers out of spite or past hatred for them, obviously referring to the cloudy history between the two nations.

The Mars scientists report everything over the British buoy network. The British government, concerned, wonders if there's a correlation between these ruins and the Atlantians. They intend to question the Japanese and the S.P.E.A.R astronauts about these odd findings at the Christmas feast.

Whilst all of this is going on, science teams would be dispatched from Europa's Central Base to investigate the energy signature at the south pole of the moon... ((Mod Please))

Construction on the colony around Earth's moon continues, and is marketed to the British public. Almost a thousand citizens from across the European parts of the Empire plan to flee to the new colony upon completion. This colony shall be named Lunapolis.

More Churchill fighters are assigned to the hangar on board Victoria Station, due to the newly ascertained presence of the Chinese Orbital Bombers.

The British government wishes to form a space coalition between themselves and the Far Eastern Empire, as well as officially renew their space alliance with Australia, in order to ensure that all parties work together to maintain their dominancies in space.

The British Mothership HMS King Charles' Dream, having received permission from Reclaimer Corps to enter Ceres' orbit, finally arrives into position.

Armed to the teeth, the armored mothership presents a terrifying sight indeed. The King Charles has been heavily plated and armed with numberous LION beam cannons, high yield explosive missiles, and chain-guns, all operated by the famous Australian VI targeting computer aboard the ship. Four Churchill Fighter Jets are also docked with the ship, in place of the usual exploration/cargo landers and ferry shuttles; only one lander is loaded onto the ship, visibly.

Able to ignore the struggle of reaching Earth's atmosphere, the fuel supplies of the Churchills would last much longer in space. They're armed with their usual armament of LION cannons, missiles, and a single machine fun for backup purposes.

Twelve SAS soldiers are aboard the King Charles, as well as an operations crew of ten personnel and eight fighter pilots.

The King Charles, pride of the Royal Navy in Space, begins to scan for Dimitri's base on the planet, having notified Reclaimer Corps of their intentions beforehand as they prepare. Upon locating his dwelling, they would prepare to open fire with everything they've got.

The fighter pilots slip into their craft, ready to undock and jet into action upon locating Dimitri's hideaway. The King Charles stands by at high alert, weapons armed and the Austrlian VI computer engaged.

South Africa

 

 

Research on terraforming (17 pages) and the Grand Colonial ship (9 pages) is well underway, with a response from Japan, now the Far Eastern Empire, on the possibility of working on cutting edge radiation resistance and clean up strategies.

 

The Grand Colonial ship's designs, now being influenced by some of the finest Greek scientists, are reworked to have several defensive systems, such as the dome to house the colony now having the ability to retract, only to have on site defences ready to blast any incoming debris, or, as the nation most certainly hope is just a wild worry, an attack from another ship. Lower levels of the ship, originally planned to house a majority of the ships on board life systems, weapons systems, and everything else, also have space made in case of emergency, so that people may stay there if necessary. The space station meant to assemble the ship is almost complete, it too getting very serious redesigns to incorporate several weapons systems. This will be free to use for the Greek's when it is finished.

 

Rearmament of the South African forces are still underway, with Greek weaponry and vehicles starting to replace the less powerful South African counterparts. Better armour is issued, as well as weaponry. The expansion of Cape Town's harbors and other works is largely finished, and numerous ships are now in the making. Other coastal cities are still behind, and the army still is quiet on recruitment, still boasting a measly half million maximum of active personnel nation wide, much to the economy of South Africa's benefit. 

 

Australia is approached privately on the matter of Alaska, as Elon Musk personally sends a quick letter on the view of the nation (which at this point, is largely his) on the matter:

 

"You fought to liberate it from the Russian's, but ought to give it to the American's. Don't make bitter relations with them, for they, and Canada, will forever be valuable allies. Though we will not act in a public medium, we are vehemently against any intention to hold them from their brothers for material gain."

 

Botswana's population booms. but by how much is unclear how much it is by. Cities are expanded towards the sky to accommodate for these people, and to help add to the sense of grandeur that South Africa has to offer the newly acquired  provinces. When the number of immigrants exceeds 1 000 000 people, the nation of South Africa will approach Zimbabwe to join as 3 provinces, using its own people as a prime example of the benefits of joining, to better the chances of their assimilation. With a population that is nearly at 25 million this day and age though, saving the country may cause humanitarian efforts outside of the country to seize up. (mod plz)

 

Solar energy farms are also built in the vast Kalahari desert of Botswana, and South Africa begins to sell this excess energy for extremely cheap, hoping to have it become a diplomatic bonus to the country.

 

South Africa also announces an interest in co-operating with other countries in scientific projects, hoping to better relations while also progressing further towards the future. It also makes clear that if there is anything it can do to better relations in any way, with any other sovereign nation, to please inform its leadership, so that there is a better chance at mutual prosperity. It has been five years since the Caliphate made peace with its northern adversaries. Five years of growth and stability. A complex economy has blossomed, oil is now almost a purely military resource, and the Islamic State is rapidly gaining on other nations' space presences through the use of their space elevator, constantly working and well guarded with missile and Qahhar systems.

 

But even in peacetime, the Islamic State is without a doubt the most highly militarized nation on the planet, and the last few years have been used above all to prepare for the next war. All heavily armored vehicles are now outfitted with Trophy systems, making them almost completely impervious to incoming rockets and the like. In addition, infantry units have been distributed the newest in the Caliphate's arsenal: the Asp portable rocket launch system. Designed in reaction to the effectiveness of heavily armored and maneuverable walkers deployed by the Australians in Spain and Italy, these launchers are designed to allow the Caliphate's infantry to easily destroy heavy armor. Cutting-edge design allows for more explosive power to be fit into a smaller projectile than ever before, and the result is a weapon that can lock onto and obliterate an Abrams tank from significant range.

 

Peace had given the Islamic State time to rest, to gather its strength. But it was not the nation's natural state, and it never would be. The Caliphate had been built on a hunger for conquest, and it still hungered even now. There could be no peace, not for long. And so the Caliph turns his gaze south.

 

 

A holy jihad is declared for the first time since the reign of Caliph Ibrahim, calling all true Muslims worldwide to serve. By the word of the Caliph Ahmed Abd Al-Qadir, there shall be no rest until Africa is unified, and the work to accomplish the task begins now. From the subsaharan region of Sudan, it begins. 50,000 men invade Ethiopia, while another 20,000 move from Djibouti to quickly secure Eritrea and take Somalia. A further 50,000 enter South Sudan, avoiding the heavier forested regions in the south.

 

But the real focus is on none of these places. It is the African Commonwealth that is most likely to offer resistance, and so it will be the Commonwealth which will have to face the full brunt of the Islamic Army: a fighting force which humiliated Europe, which numbers far above any other nation, which is fully experienced in the horrors of war following decades of constant battle.

 

Ahmed, being a reasonable man, allows T'challa an opportunity to avoid bloodshed:

You showed that when we first met and were able to agree to a treaty that won peace for that time. But that treaty has now long run its course, and the time has come to revisit the issue. Just enough time is given for the Africans to respond before the offensive begins. Again from subsaharan Sudan, a force of 500,000 of the Caliphate's men crosses into Chad, fully supported by heavy tanks and a thousand Tandon drones. They smash into the defense, accustomed to fighting against entrenchments, and fiercely begin to push through to the other side. With Asp launchers among the infantry and Trophy systems on the vehicles, they have full armor superiority, and should be able to overwhelm strategic points and flood into the country. An additional 200,000 men begin to work their way into the Commonwealth down the coastal road of Western Sahara, accompanied by 200 Tandon drones.

 

The invasion force will soon be reinforced by the full army of the Caliphate, which numbers over 3,400,000. In preparation for a possible long term struggle, the army prepares the reserves for mobilization, which will increase this number to epic proportions. The IAF masses on the north side of the Sahara, not yet engaging in a full-scale campaign.

 

A similar offer as was made to the Commonwealth is send to South Africa.

 

The Caliphate lays claim to all land south of Volgograd, and moves to occupy all land that is not devastated by radiation.

 

Both the Dominion and the Brightsword operations on General Saeed go smoothly, until they converge on the hotel at the same time. Whatever interaction takes place between the two forces will need to take place quickly, as the Dominion's snipers have drawn blood and every second brings them closer to discovery.

It was an outrage when word erupted all over the world.

 

"The Islamic Caliphate long seeming placid had decided to descend on Africa. A clear declaration of war on the Commonwealth, and that being an ally of T.R.A.C. They gave horrible terms, and invaded before the Commonwealth even had time to mull over it. Even now they are probably marching across the borders, through tough desert. The Caliphate is a beast that can not be underestimated. They're power is strong, and their morales non existent. That is why I speak before you all today, to remind you of our duty. Th Confederate States of America are a valued member of T.R.A.C, but we have remained isolationist for too long. Let us stay American, and keep to it! But we must also help our global allies, for our survival as much as theirs. This is why today I proclaim the CSA will begin to gear up for another war in Africa. We will save our fellow nation's lives, and beat back a terrorist that has grown for too long. I call all members of T.R.A.C to aid in the defense of their besieged ally."

 

Confederate president Fernandez turned away from all of the shocked journalist scrambling to ask answers. He was flown to Cuba to discuss the CSA's plans with his top generals. Meeting in the capital, a call to a full half of the Confederate navy to gather to the states of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Haiti. They were to guard the troop transports that would soon be streaming to the destination points full of CPNA forces. Brightsword is asked to contribute as many troops as they have for the coming war. Pay would be increased by half. In the mainland North America supplies and enough food to feed the army is shipped down to transport ships. The heart of the effort, they would be heavily guarded. State Militia would go with the supplies, in an effort to bolster the army. A full million men were eventually planned to arrive in Africa in waves. It would soon be time to move, and a forward screen of the navy is sent. Mainly advanced destroyers with anti-submarine and air capabilities they could better detect Caliphate submarines. 

 

As per an old T.R.A.C agreement, all the members participated in stationing troops in coastal forts on the Commonwealth of Afrika. The CSA itself had ten thousand men stationed there, and a small naval detachment. The troops would begin to gather safely in the heart of the Commonwealth, calling all other T.R.A.C troops there to muster with them into a larger force. The naval detachment of one heavy rail-gun frigate, five frigates, and seven advanced destroyers would head out to disrupt Caliphate trade heading towards their African nations. The navy would relatively easily pick up Caliphate submarines or ships with survey tech/drones, and disengage if the odds were against them.

 

The first wave of fifty thousand troops were hastily assembled on the Brazil coast, and picked up by a home naval detachment. Mainly CPNA supplemented by state militia, they would divide into seven smaller waves, each protected by a CSA naval group. Supplies would see them a bit past reach Africa, with more being sent behind them in a more organized manner. The Panama canal is blocked for all ships trading to or from the Islamic Caliphate.

 

Australia is asked to reconsider their annexation of Alaska. It was a glorious liberation effort turned sour, the Americans were handed from one foreign power to another. The CSA would respect their T.R.A.C ally, but ask for them to consider the morale of what they did. At the least they are asked to allow the CSA to establish naval ports. Used to better control and defend trade heading through the Canadian passage, the Australians could join in the effort.

 

South Africa's trade deal is warmly accepted, and the CSA offers arms deals. They would help supply and train their army to modern standards. South Africa is given the possibility of applying to join T.R.A.C

T.V. screens across the nation are alight, viewed by anxious men and women throughout Africa. The people pray for no conflict, but inaction has only led to nations being swallowed in the past. Soon, Caliphate propaganda is on every screen, people listening to men of Ethiopia especially who decided to take up the cause on their own accord, and can't help but feel uneasy.

 

 

These pictures of soldiers move the government to sternly request the nations of Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Namibia join South Africa to assure their independence. Massive amounts of aid, with almost full autonomy being offered, as well as the opportunity to have a referendum following the turbulence of recent events. South Africa would bring these nations up to first world standards, and see them ready to defend themselves from whatever storm may come.

 

All reserves in the nation (numbering about 1.2 million) are to be pressed into uniform on a moments notice, and are currently being armed and trained. Requests to speak to the Caliph are sent quickly, but coolly, simply hoping to assure the safety of the southernmost area's of the continent.

 

Immigrant workers are given massive amounts of work in the way of war preparations, with production of defenses all across the land almost quintupled from an already quick pace. One can only hope that the Caliphate has no intention on infringing upon South African sovereignty.

 

In regards to the CSA, South Africa is horrified (silently) at the timing of the acceptance of the deal, but it is not undone, and South Africa embrace's the opportunity to have an arms deal opened up, to arm the potential future soldiers of the nation. Training is also accepted for the reservists, but this move is seen as quite unpopular and provocative by the Xenophobic Zulu's of the East.

 

As for the offer to join TRAC, the only comment given on the subject is that it's too early and reactionary for South Africa to commit to something of the sort. They do not shut down talks completely, though.

 

Requests to speak to Japan specifically of the Far Eastern Empire are drafted up too, hoping that they can help assure South Africa's future safety in regards to the Caliphate. 

 

Elon Musk waits anxiously for a reply from them both, hoping that this all is just an overreaction.

 

The engineers in The South American Federation see the epicenters of the country refitted, but it is unclear whether they will be needed back in the country in the near future. They will stay until a general reform of the country's wasteful/less green ways are done.

Upon hearing of the situation in South Africa, the Empress of Britannia decides it best to quickly remind her old friend, the Caliph, that South Africa is a Commonwealth Realm, and that it would severely mangle relations with the Imperium Britannia if it invades or subjugates one of the countries of which she is monarch.

 

The Empress requests, therefore, that the Caliphate stay away from South Africa, lest they mangle the slowly mending relations between their two nations.

In the Federation

 

Many of the population of the entire Federation sign up to join the Military, it seemed this war was going to be one that inspired the populace of the Federation. Since the last conflict the amount of REX and EMU Units had increased significantly, along with the main infantry of the military, navy and airforce. Troops aren't moved as of yet, as the Australasian Government holds back from the official declaration in defiance of the King of Australia and awaits  word from the Californian Dominion so that they may gain further data concerning the war.

 

After the Kings speech the foreign ministry of the Federation reminds the Far Eastern Empire and India of the defensive pacts put in place and informs them they have not made a decision concerning the coming war and wish to inform them that the King of Australia although holding authority cannot force the issue of declaring war. This is simply a precaution as it is unknown to the Foreign Ministry if the Eastern Bloc alliance still has strong ties to the Caliphate.

 

However to take precautions, the current troop movements in the Federation involve manning the coastal defenses in the Federation that include rail guns, anti-air, missiles, VI Automated Gun Turrets, VI Automated Anti-Air. The Federal Government sensed something was amiss and wouldn't take any chances concerning the Federations own Defenses. In time the best landing points for any invading force from Asia would be heavily defended in case of invasion. The VI Defense Grid was as active as ever, no one would be able to surprise attack the Federations territories and all troops were focused on defense, rather than preparing to attack. The Military numbers had increased due to the national service there were now a million serving men due to the influx of servicemen due to mandatory National Service.

 

More secretly, missives are sent to Japan, China and India to negotiate a standing peace between the Federation and Eastern Bloc, despite very good relations for a very long time the Federations Security Services believed that the Eastern Bloc may attack for some unknown reason.

The days have been long, the nights treacherous and unforgiving in the wastelands of what once was the Motherland. Other Countries fight for control and look to the stars...but we, we fight for survival, we do not look to the stars, only to the ground and our brothers for salvation.

 

Far from the Western territories of russia and the vile germans, a select few have risen to defy the previous leaders surrender and failure to hold the Motherland together. The Soviet Council works to rebuild in the new city of Stalingrad.

The Afrikan Commonwealth is given blueprints to the top of the line Tali air-supremacy fighter as well as the Normandy Dropship, jetpacks and still has posession of high-end railgun technology. At the same time, the small contingent of men in the Dominion base move towards the front to lend help where they can. They would probably put these new technological assets into production quickly so as to put them on the front.

 

Microwave laser technology is also given to them to counter the rockets used on their armor.

 

Two Dominion fleets move to Australian waters along with a convoy of heavily protected troops and various other military equipment. 

 

The Dominion issues a final warning to the Caliphate, telling them that they have one chance to pull out of Afrikan countries or face the unified wrath of the Transcontinental Accord. At the same time, it condems it to the entire world for breaking a treaty and asks for the cessation of trade between it and other nations.

 

Plans begin to be worked on and are put into motion.

The Slavic Confederation

 

Order has been put swiftly to the chaos that has affected the countries under the Slavic Confederation. The streets patrolled by stealth tanks, "Bogatyr" troops and Bee drones. There are many deaths and those cannot support themselves through the crisis of radiation. Across The Slavic Confederation claimed lands, tv programs which to President Hamski with the other members of Slavic Confederation behind him.

 

 

"Citzens of Poland. Czech Republic. Slovakia. Western Ukraine. As a alliance we took a heavy blow by a tragic event we did not expect that could possibly happen. These tragic events happen upon us by those we thought as our friends, but now it is not so. To bring order to the chaos, all Russians who we sheltered are to be relocated to Kalingrad."

 

As the speech was continuing, the people who were partly Russians, Russians who fled or russians who lived in Slavic Confederation territory found themselves dragged away by the "Bogatyr" troops onto Polish troop carriers to be transported away.

However few Polish transports did not arrive to Kalingrad, as the Russian citzens were dropped off far from eyes and ears could see. They were excuted. These were made sure that they were Russians who fled, leaving the other transports with Slavic confederation proper refugees.
