Reclaimer Corp.

The Chairmen of Reclaimer Space Corp, Roberto Abarca, a Spanish man who served as a Lieutenant in Iberia during the first war against France and Italy, answers the message to from the Greeks. He makes it clear to the Reclaimers that there would be no way of catching them now. They were simply too far away to be caught, for now.

Instead, Roberto offers to sell the information to the Greek people as to where the Russians were headed.

The South American Federation

 

The South American Federation, now that it has renamed itself has announced this to the world. Meanwhile the research and educational sections of the Federation is still going very well, it seems that the nation have taken an interest in Nano tech and are furthering the research on the Nano technology that was already developed in the past. Now coming towards the offer from the CSA government, after a long time of thinking they agree to take the CSA's offer and then offer to join the T.R.A.C, The terms how ever are discussed in private on a encrypted channel(Skype).

Like said, Nano tech has become a great interest for the Federation as they quickly spring to further the technology, figuring that they could use it for their own purposes. THE ICC

The ICC congratulates the efforts of all the space-faring nations as a progress of humanity as a whole. Gifts of the most valuable of gems acquired from some of the newly constructed mines are sent to the British and Japanese alike. Large ruby's, sapphire, and Spinel gemstones are delivered. Trade request's are sent yet again to the nations of Britain, Germany, China, The South American Federation, and the CSA. 

 

The government puts in place three new Eco friendly mandates, as the recent research into the minds of the people has discovered that many support and advocate for a more environmentally friendly nation. Firstly, all new and existing buildings capable of carrying them on their rooftops, are required to implement a garden of some sort to their design. This will reduce pollution, naturally cool buildings, reducing energy usage, as well as provide a more oxygenated environment. Secondly, all nuclear, gas, and coal powerplants are to be decommissioned as soon as possible without destabilizing the nations electricity. Third, as the nation rids itself of polluting forms of energy, they will begin to phase in fully environmentally friendly forms of energy, such as hydro, geothermal, solar, and wind power. All told, it is expected to take three to four years to finish everything. ((5 pages))

 

The Russians are condemn by the ICC for their failure to stabilize and maintain the reactors, and putting Europe in a nuclear fallout. Aid in the form of clothes, food, and other essentials are sent to the European country's affected in hopes that this will inspire the rest of the world to do the same and support each other not on the basis of nationality and political bullshit, but that we are all humans, and should endeavor to support each other in times of crisis.

 

Once again, the ICC beings more talks with Thailand in hopes of convincing them to join the confederation. "The people of the confederation are a happy people, one brought together by the intrinsic value of human life. We believe that we came together because we had to, in order to survive in the ever so dangerous world we live in, and we believe we did it because it was also the right thing to do. So we ask the people of Thailand to seriously consider, are in a favorable position? Is your standing among the world one of great prowess? The design's and testing for the robotic implementation into the workforce and beating out of human effort in manual tasks is nearly completed. All that remains are to actually put the new robotic workers into the jobs. ((Next Page)) This will shore up vasts amount of human resources for the ICC. The now jobless will soon find themselves jobs however. Plans to revert the workforce into more noble pursuits has begun. Musashi, the leader of a nation which is beginning to become very glad for the coup, plans to create a system which puts those who are older than 18 and formerly in the workforce into a secondary education system, to raise them to more standard levels of intelligence and the like. Nearly all of the population will begin to filter out of manual labor and into either the fields of education, the sciences and technology, or economic related jobs. ((2 Pages)) At the same time, the government will fund the creation of new jobs in these fields with the wealth of the newly exploited natural resources and trade with japan.

 

The education system is now reformed, and implemented into schools nationwide. While this serves to place the ICC's ranking among the other nations much higher in education and intelligence, they are certainly not number one. 

 

Work continues of creating military robots capable of replacing the majority of the military. However, it is discovered that this may take much longer than expected. Progress proceeds at a slower rate than previously calculated, and the Japanese technology flooding into the system has also served to lengthen it as implementation will take some time. It is expected to take up a few more years for the project to progress further. ((8 pages))

 

However, prototype designs are already in place.

Finally, as a tribute to the Japanese and a further sign of friendship, a robot capable of surviving and policing the void of space, or the barren face of a new planet is also put into design and planned to be turned over to the Japanese as soon as it is functional.

 

The economy is beginning to flourish and boom under the new use of natural resources, and happiness is at an all time high with the new government improving largely upon the issues the people deem to be the largest of all. Research continues into psychology, philosophy and other fields to bring people together. Progress is also made on earth cyclical systems, and is expected to make some real headway in the coming years. ((5 pages))

The Reclaimers respond to the Greek offer by asking, rather simply, for a new base of operations within the Hellenic homeland. They request somewhere isolated within the mountains of Transylvania.

The Thai government, after an intense series of negotiations, accept the offer to join the ICC as long as they remain on equal footing with the other remaining members of the ICC.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA

The Empress, Laura Windsor, knew it was too good to be true, as she filled out paperwork in her fallout bunker in London.

Just as the Imperium Britannia was in it's roaring years again, a bust had to happen. And this bust came in the form of deadly, nuclear clouds.

Citizens all over the British Isles, Normandy, and Iberia begin to die off. Widows cry in the streets, and the orphanages are filled to the brim.

With no other choice, roughly 40% of the soldiers in the European armies of the Imperium are allowed to turn in their resignations and return to their families and loved ones to avoid starvation.

A national emergency is declared, and the Empress assumes a stature of High Crown Authority to deal with the issues at hand.

It had figured that the Russians had to kill Europe on an election year; the British Socialist Party and the Irish Catholic Party gain prominence in the Imperial Parliament, although the Traditionalists Conservatives still maintained a tight supremacy in the House of Lords and a 3/5ths majority in the House of Commons. But if the Traditionalists didn't fix things soon, it was all but certain that the Socialists would gain power and overthrow all that they had worked so hard to accomplish.

The eyes of the British people, many now wearing distributed anti-radiation masks and suits, feasted their eyes upon their Empress, looking up to her with hope and desperation.

Britannia is a global empire. We have territories and provinces ALL across the Globe! Britannia is in Europe, Britannia is in America, Britannia is in Asia, Britannia is in the Mediterranean, Britannia is in the Arctic, and Britannia is in the Atlantic.

Frenchmen, I assume that you're suffering just as much as we are. WE, Britannia, are your only hope for survival in the coming days. If we released you as is, you would die from a lack of infrastructure and a lack of resources. Anarchy would reign. France would simply become a wasteland of anarchy controlled by mobs and gangs, and in the end, a second reign of terror would ensue as one of your leaders becomes a dictator or a King. Under us, you have the SAME rights as any other citizen of the Imperium, the same rights as a British citizen. How long do you think you'll survive if you break away from the Greater Imperium...?

All aid from all nations is begrudgingly accepted; the Brits are a proud people, and they don't wish to accept the aid, but they do during this time of crisis when hundreds of thousands of their citizens are dying in their state-of-the-art country.

The British government begins to distribute radiation gear across the European possessions of the Imperium, hoping to lower the intensity of the crisis. Fallout shelters in major cities from the Cold War open their doors, and civilians flock into them whenever they see the fearsome sight of a radiation cloud overhead.

Upon seeing that some people are immune to the radiation clouds, Britannia makes this public knowledge, and sets up a research program in various universities to study these patients. Of course, admission would be voluntary, but a decent price would be paid to any entrees into the research program, enticing many to be studied by the scientists and help save their families in the process.

A state of High Crown Authority is declared, giving the Empress almost absolute power for the duration of the emergency. However, Parliament could easily seize this power from the Empress if she abuses it too much, or if the citizens demand that these powers be stripped from her.

Britannia attempts to preserve various species of animals, insects, and other living creatures in a series of zoos, aquariums, and wildlife habitats in Newfoundland. Various seeds from various plant species are sent to the British Antarctic Territory to be cryostored in a seed vault.

The British government also request food and humanitarian aid from all nations, though they specifically appear to non-european allies and friendlies such as the USAC, the CSA, Australia, the NCR, Argentina, Japan, Jewish Cyprus, and South Africa. They also offer to buy aid if need be, until the fallout and farmland in Western Europe can be cleansed of radiation.

Imperium soldiers from the Americas and Eastern Europe are recalled due to the forced sequestration of the military, leaving a mere 200,000 Imperium Troops in North America, not including the Newfoundland Army. The troops that remain, however, move to assist in stabilizing the new USAC government, as promised to the Americans and the Canadians. A meeting is to be held between the British Prime Minister and the USAC President.

Upon hearing rumors about Dimitri's fleeing into space, Churchill fighters depart from Victoria Station, intent on sweeping the area in an attempt to locate and radio Reclaimer Corps Rockets. However, due to the fuel constraints of the fighters, it is unlikely that they'd be able to find any orbital rockets. Besides. Dimitri was probably long, long gone by now, far out of Victoria's range of operations. The Imperium offers to assist Greece in hunting down the war criminal, stating that they will use their resources in space to apprehend him if need be.

A delegation of the finest athletes in the Imperium, gathered from Newfoundland, Hong Kong, Iberia, and the United Kingdom itself are sent to attend the Olympic Games in Greece. Despite all that is going on, the British Empress shall attend these games, leaving Prime Minister Lord George Lancaster in her stead as her regent during the ongoing ceremonies.

The British Olympics team is geared heavily towards Archery, Badminton, Golf (Scots), Football (Soccer), Cycling, Running, Shooting, Equestrian Races, and Swimming.

Plans would be made to arrange space plane flights between the United Kingdom and Victoria Station, and from there to the British Moon Base, as well as support an intense building project on the moon to create a Space Colony out of the base in Mare Tranquillatus on the fifth of the moon claimed by the British.

The United Kingdom intends to turn it into a tourist attraction, much like the Japanese fiasco on the moon, more to draw the public's attention away from the situation on Earth than for monetary gain. ((10 Pages))

Britannia also reaches out to the Swedes and the Caliphate, offering to grant both of them the profitable contract of transporting British materials to Victoria Station in order to slice the huge transportation costs for materials incurred by the BSA.

The H.M.S King Charles' Dream makes its way back to Earth, to be restocked for a new mission. Apparently, it's to be outfitted with temporary weapons of all varieties, as though this mission will be one involving combat... However, the reasoning behind this is revealed to S.P.E.A.R and Japan, as they state that they're to go on a mission to capture or kill Dimitri, wherever he may be located.

The trading deal is accepted from Indochina.

The call for aid from the British Imperium is answered in full swing, the South American Federation quickly sends a decent amount of food that wont be poisoned by the radiation, things like bottled water, canned food, tents, blankets, pillows and the like are sent towards European nations as a gesture of good will. The Queen-looking forward to trying out the renowned VR head set Japan had invented sadly was told to put her visit on hold till the disastrous event had been solved.

Reclaimer Corp

The rockets harboring the Russian leader and several other Russian war criminals, as well as civilians, were long gone. Somehow they had gone unnoticed as they slipped through the atmosphere and out into neutral space. Most troubling about this for the Spacial powers is that they could not detect this launch, indicating an advance in Reclaimer stealth technology in Space far beyond their own capabilities. The Greeks privately receive information on the rocket in exchange for a large slice of territory in Transylvania.

A new complex is created by Reclaimer in the territory, a mountaintop research facility. Strangely enough, it is in the heart of the highest concentrated radiation areas in the Hellenic Republic.

The Imperium Britannia

The base on Mars goes well established, allowing for their experiments to be conducted actively. Early pictures from the drones show several strange sites with massive buildings foundations scattered throughout.The British would scratch their heads though, believing that the entire planet harbored no intelligent life other than that of the Japanese and NCR. Quite strange. 

As for Europa, things begin to slow down incredibly. Very few signs other than those found in the first initial sites can be detected. The language, now fully decoded, allows for them to read most of the signs and texts that remain, though there are very few. What they can read mostly indicate banks, offices, and small shops. Otherwise, nothing substantial can be found yet. A very low energy emission is detected from the South Pole.

South Africa

 

 

Several years have passed since South Africa stirred on the world stage, and to her greatest benefit.

 

Elon Musk, since his opening up the country, turned inward again to deal with the new provinces of Swaziland and Lesthoso. A burden they were, but gems they have become: Swaziland's agricultural sector received an explosive boom, and with marijuana legalized throughout the entirety of the nation, its cash crop only helped it secure its place. Cities were largely reworked to meet the very green living standards imposed by Elon Musk, and soon, saw themselves going from a province making only 1/5th of the wealth Cape Town did, to a respectable GDP, only a few million short of the average.

 

Lesthoso surprised the republic pleasantly, almost working as putty in the hands of the government. Much of the land was made public, as they hoped this would secure development by the President. These lands seen themselves turned into great farms, factories, and cities, to feed, enfranchise and house the masses of this land. The people co-operate un-cannily in the face of the overwhelming aid provided the first 3 years, and now see's itself one of the few lucky places to have a national space station.

 

Working with the Imperium and Australia, unique new and cutting edge space facilities are built, Elon Musk putting to practice much of what SpaceX - his legendary private space company turned South African space program - into action. With an intense focus on making trips cheap and affordable, work is underway for a grand project: It would not only bring settlers to space, but be able to shelter them, and act as an excellent jump off point to colonize where they land, though it is unclear when the first of these ships will be built. During these years, Elon Musk has secured a second term, but this time, with an overwhelming majority. Japan is called on by Elon himself to also assist these humanitarian efforts, as well as Australia, and China. Elon also prods the The Commonwealth of Africa, hoping to draft a formal alliance to secure Sub-Saharan Africa from any potential threats. All American states - Including South American ones - find itself a request for an open dialogue, in hopes to secure peaceful relations between South Africa and themselves. Hopes are high that the CSA responds, as there is hope to use the Panama canal, and thus have a more convenient route to the Dominion of California can be opened, and in turn, make possible another friendship.

 

​South Africa reminds all nations of its openness to talks, and does well to remind that i has much in the way of resources to be offered to her allies.

 

Research begins on true de-desertification methods - True terraforming - for use on earth and in space. It is unclear how close the nation is to a break through (Would like a mod for this too, afraid to PG). This is coupled with research on weapons that would be relevant for defense from the air and sea, as well as projects to put the anti tank/vehicle weaponry up to snuff. The USAC

The United States of America & Canada

 

 

All great change in America begins at the dinner table. Francis made a political tour throughout the country with senators and governors to hear their view and appease wherever he could. The east was pretty much unified and loyal, but the west had its doubts about the Underwood administration. A good old fashioned dinner and a man to man talk would fix this, at least that is how they did it in South Carolina. A return to the old ways was prefered, Underwood complied.

 

 

It was a comfortable thought for the Americans that the USAC was one of the important players, if not the most important. The nuclear winter made Europe succumb to her internal struggles. The British agriculture and water reserves would be contaminated, Francis showed the world his generous hand as president by shipping crates of bottled water and canned foods to London through the grand navy of the USAC. They would be the heroes of the world now, the new guardians of democracy. With the USAC in peace, the entire military is mobilized for this charity. Winning the hearts of the British was essential for future political leverage.

 

Although Francis had a blind eye for the Brits, the lack of democracy in Europe was troubling. In the wake of the fallout, desperation had struck the continent. This gave USAC the ability to play the minds of the European people.  when the White House released a statement that they would aim for a "Democratic Future for Europe", the press asked the State department in a press briefing for a clarification

 

 

"Today ambassador to the UEDI Baucus met with various European opposition leaders in Vancouver to re-validate the situation in Europe. The ambassador also spoke to various officials in charge of the USAID program to the British isles. He will be returning to Washington tonight.

 

Ambassador Baucus worked with the state department to draft a new foreign policy towards the UEDI, considering their rather controversial choice of government. It is within our interests to preserve the relations with our UEDI counterparts but also maintain our diplomatic image. The USAC feels responsible for the wellbeing of the European continent after the nuclear fallout and we frankly believe that true democracy is a better alternative to oudated emperative sysems. The State Department has given no executive orders regarding this statement as of yet and further information will remain classified."

 

As industry was being recovered in the nation, the job system America Works is paying off rather well. Over 300,000 found themselves a job in the sectors that lacked a laboring force. Education returned back to normal as an emphasis on patriotism was made, the national anthem would be sang every morning in the classrooms of the USAC again.

As Western Europe is filled with the radiation clouds, a Japanese fleet makes its way through the Mediterranean Sea and docks at Montpelier. The fleet is made of two destroyers, a battleship, and nearly seventy cargo ships. Quickly unloaded are large amounts of supplies - assorted foods, water, radiation suits - and the Japanese government quickly buys a large amount of trucks in France, loading the supplies to be carried to zones hit heaviest by the radiation. The relief forces wear radiation suits and carry Geiger counters, among other things.

 

Food Types Sent: Canned fish, grains, banana, salt, sugar, and in trucks holding freezing containers, meat products. Huge amounts of each are sent.

 

Aid from an Asian Great Power had arrived, and it seemed determined to show its friendship with the Western European Imperium.

 

The Imperium Germania is asked if it would sell its Indian Ocean and African island colonies.

 

The Japanese Mars expedition accepts the British invitation, and will attend the Christmas feast. 

 

The Japanese Space Empire

 

 

The South Korean army, fighting the Japanese about midway through their country's territory, sees large amounts of carrier helicopters flying towards the front. They stop a good 10 km out, and the Japanese Robotic Infantry Models (RIM) turn on, disconnecting from charging ports on the helicopters and moving in formation out. At first glance, they look like they're controlled by VI - moving together, almost no signs of communication between each other - but they're controlled by Japanese decade veterans in Hamamatsu.

 

Then the South Korean government surrendered ((Mod Approved)), and the Japanese were denied their testing ground. The soldiers returned home just as quickly as they had arrived.

The Queen and her council quietly talk about the offer the South African nation had made and soon send an offer asking for a Trade Agreement. The Slavic Confederation

The nuclear fallout has wiped the strength of the Slavic Confederation, Poland took many loses to the radiation, hopsitials filled with many sick people and the "Bogatyr" having troubling time dealing with the outcries of this fallout. To make things worse, the funding to deal with the sick and wounded was large enough that the Slavic Confederation "Bogatyr" was cut down by 50% out of service to be with their family in this crisis.

 

Western Ukraine was worse the death and injuried rating is off the roof. Many were homeless. The camps set up for the eastern part of the Ukraine to take on refugees fell apart from the radiation rain, people panicked, screaming and outcries. These refugee camps were no-more.

 

To deal with these situations Poland and Western Ukraine are dealing with, more camps were set up in the countries outside of the hospitals so the medical team and quickly deal with them.

For the sightings of "mutants" and people immune to the radiation, the "Bogatyr" were ordered to retain these people for "To save the people of the world". Although they began a new side project known as "Project Fallout." in this they would abapt the samples from "Project Hellhound" for humans.
