Orion Avionics

Orion has begun several projects recently. At the offer of a contract from the British, Orion Avionics graciously accepts their offer and begins work on the contract immediately, as well as a number of other projects.

Most notable to all nations looking to expand their fleet or need a way into space, Orion Avionics has revealed their two new ship hulls, each sporting a line of modules to make it fill any one of a variety a roles, with a few variants therein as well. The standard production procedure allows them to - though certainly not massed produced - to be crafted at significantly faster speeds and cheaper than most government production.

The Jaguar Hull allows interplanetary travel on a reasonably fast and maneuverable platform. It's smaller than most capital space-faring vessels, but makes up for what it may lack in mass in versatility. With the wide variety of modules, just a couple of these ships can patch most unfilled roles in any space-fleet. Were one to order a ship, they may pick any two Jaguar modules with which to outfit the ship. (Production = longer P)

9YvcBF8l.jpg

The Jaguar Hull comes with the following variants:

Transport:

-T1-Jaguar Cargo (6P/ship)

-T2-Jaguar Bio-Cargo w/ extended life support + improved atmosphere control (7P/ship)

-T3-Jaguar Heavy Cargo w/ additional cargo space + heavy tow equipment (7P/ship)

-T4-Jaguar Stasis Transport w/ advanced cryogenics (9P/ship)

Military:

-M1-Jaguar Long-Range Support w/ 12x Bobcat Missile Tubes (10P/ship)

-M2-Jaguar Close-Range Support w/ 6x SA12 Metal Projectile Batteries + supplemental shielding (9P/ship)

-M3-Jaguar Anti-Ship Cannon w/ 1x SA14 Heavy Projectile Cannon (10P/ship)

-M4-Jaguar Boarding Module w/ 60 marine capacity (9P/ship)

-M5-Jaguar Phalanx Support w/ Microwave + Phalanx anti-missle/anti-fighter capabilities (10P/ship)

Engineering:

-E1-Jaguar Science Laboratory (10T/ship)

-E2-Jaguar Field Repair Module (8T/ship)

-E3 Jaguar Field Fabrication Module (9T/ship)

For something closer to home, a nation may consider the Lynx Hull series instead. These ships fly in High Altitude Low Orbit environments and serve a large variety of support roles. Produced with only one module, these ships can be crafted in large quantities for anyone willing to pay the price. (All 6 pages for 12 ships)

QDrev6Q.jpg

Military:

-M1-Lynx Heavy Fighter w/ air supremacy capabilities

-M2-Lynx Gunship Support w/ supplemental armor and armament

-M3-Lynx Bomber w/ 88,000kG payload

Transport:

-T1-Lynx Cargo

-T2-Lynx Heavy Cargo

-T3-Lynx Stasis Transport

-T4-Lynx Personnel Carrier

-T5-Lynx Mobile Medical Facility

Orion announces its plans to build the medical, weapons, science, and cryogenic modules as well as the computer mainframe for the British motherships currently under construction. Barring any unexpected problems, the modules will be finished and delivered on time with the rest of the ship's construction. (11 pages)

Orion begins designing the requested destroyer for the British government. This is entirely preliminary and no construction has thus far begun. The destroyer is being designed to use no tech not yet developed. (2 pages)

To demonstrate the speed and efficiency of the Jaguar and Lynx's construction, Orion begins construction of two Jaguars, an M2/M5 model and a T3/E2 model. (10 pages, 8 pages)

Inaddition, they construct 12 heavy cargo Lynxes. (6 pages)

As they lack much of the anti-ship weaponry of actual nations, Orion tasks its research and development wing with developing a heavy, plasma based anti-ship weapon to be dubbed the Mobile Anti-Ship Platform, MASP. (Mod Please)

In an act of either humanitarian pursuit or corporate boot-licking, depending on your viewpoint, Orion Avionics dispatches crews to the USSR and Russia to set up facilities to assist in the scrubbing of radiation and medical establishments to treat the sick, irradiated, or injured. It is no secret that Orion wants land in this area on which to establish a large cosmodrome. Provided Orion Avionic's aid is accepted, the facilities will be up shortly. (1 page)

South American Federation

The research on Nanite Technology goes as planned(2 pages left) with the biospheres also going along nicely, the side project is about to be finished and ready for the Nanite layering as well.

RqfDTmp.jpg

Updated Navy ships thanks to the technology given to them by the CSA which they are thanked once again as they continue sending reinforcements to their Navy to help the efforts in South Africa. Only 2,000 Troops equipped with T-84 Rifles and Snipers along with the King Williams combat armor, the troops are positioned to back up any weakening positions and then a few Rail gun tanks are positioned in the more entrenched positions but this is most likely the most the Federation will be able to spare.

Concerning the Russian mutants, the government grudgingly agree's with the Californian Dominion while sending Relief supplies to the encampment in Russia while the soldiers are ordered to shoot and kill any mutant that try and damage the encampments walls. The given mutants are quickly taken to a containment facility, put under high level clearance with a lot of guards and army personnel guarding the facility while Research is done to try and find out what makes these mutants immune to radiation and how they're made. (MOD PLEASE)

Space station Orion goes along smoothly, with the help of other nations technology the defenses are powered on while further construction goes under way.

M5AiQpa.jpg

Concerning a new project named 'Project Delta' is started and began in the labs, the goal is to create what the British Imperium has, they try to make assault laser rifle; one that fires super heated energy bolts(Varying) that would of course have a lot of knock back(MOD PLEASE), The assault rifle would of course need a recharge time and a portable recharge station is being made, the government sends other members of C.A.N offers of helping them in creating this new weaponry

-Diplomacy-

The offer for an alliance is accepted from the Andean Confederation (Depends if new player still wants it)

- The Federation's government does agree to help the USAC on building their Rail guns or supplying them with the needed things, but they request they get the rail gun turret's as well or at least the tech needed to create it.

The United Soviet States of Russia

Civilians gathered in the streets looking on high as Dropships and a pair of C-130s land at the local airfield, cheers and celebration as Aid finally arrives. Soldiers move out to the Airfield standing roughly around C-130s tension arises for a short period as they stare at what a true modern soldier is. The Tension eases as the chairman of the council General Chekov greets the British Major he speaks in a well english tone, though his accent is quite heavy "Welcome to Stalingrad, we're glad to see you and your men, By all means please deploy some of your men to our parameter. Though Stalingrad is well defended our outer colony of Gracemaria could more then use the extra defense until more permanent structures and defenses are setup. We'll prepare out choppers-..." his attention is stolen as a Modern Day USA Drop Ship moves to land on the airfield followed by several more. Confusion follows until 3 of the Council members exit one of the dropships making their way over to Chekov and the Major "Gifts from the Americans Comrades! The President is offering us aid as well, We will rebuild and be stable within the Year!"

The Soldiers and Councilmen assist the British in organizing where the supplies are deployed and as well as looking over the new weapons the British have given them. The bulk of what is given to them are immediately added to the Armed Force's arsenal.

A large portion of the construction materials are sent to Gracemaria to bolster the construction of Farms, as organization is put underway any construction materials not sent to Gracemaria is put towards the Military Installation in the Ural Mountains increasing construction rate by roughly 60%. It will be finished well before schedule - 1 page

The Aid sent by the Americans is also swiftly put to work, the Nuclear Generator was moved into connection with the local power grid, Now ALL citizens of Stalingrad have access to powered homes for running water, lighting and other factory production buildings previously put on hold.

Along with the genetically enhanced seeds the farms take off to a good start, nothing spectacular but that fact that its atleast sprouting in this land shows hope for the future.

The Soviet State has finished its secret organization of the KGB, 56 agents out of the original 100 that survived the rigorous training techniques now serve the USSR.

The USSR accepts the assistance of the British Orion Company, though the designated lands for the company to construct its facilities are kept under close watch for now.

As a first test of the USSRs new KGB Agents, the Council has armed 4 teams of 6 KGB agents with the new Rifles they've acquired as well as the Hazmat suits provided by Orion. A Dropship flies them to the WESTERN Regions of Russia at different locations, they would be dropped off within the danger zone. The KGB strike team is to scout out for survivors as the Council refuses to believe that the millions of Russians are completely gone. If they encounter German Soldiers they are not to engage unless forced too. Any findings or locations of German forces is to be radio'd back to High Command ((MOD PLZ PLZ))

Several more Scouting parties are sent further west with better armament in an attempt to locate the old Russian Space CC (Command Center) though not as far as the KGB teams have been deployed ((MORE MODZ PLZ))

The Islamic Caliphate

isis.jpg

Agadez, Central Niger

"They're coming, commander."

"Be ready. Draw them in."

The commander strides to the top of the rocky outcropping on which he's giving orders, and looks out on the arid plain in front of him. He's a thin man with a short beard, and he moves with a bravado not often seen. Hard to read, he always seems to have a strange smile on his face, as if he knows something that everyone else doesn't. His men call him Kutaiba, or simply Commander.

Before him is a vast expanse of flat land between the city of Agadez and the rocky mountains where the majority of his command was. And in that flat land, his men were retreating in the face of a massive push by the defenders. Hundreds of walkers, thousands of men, hundreds of thousands more out of sight.

The war in Niger had been interesting, to say the least. Kutaiba had come south with a host of 500,000 men along the Algerian roads, and due to the initial attack being in Chad from Sudan, the Muslims had enjoyed early success, pushing well past their current position. But the arrival of large quantities of mechs onto the field of battle had caused this to change: due to point defense weaponry, Asp launchers could only be effective if more than one were fired at the same target, and at a dangerous range to boot. Tactical advantages were needed to make them effective, and these were terms on which Kutaiba was unwilling to fight. So he changed the game.

Over the last couple weeks his army has been feigning weakness, retreating when even slightly outnumbered and giving the impression of a disorganized mob. When the counterattack came, it was subtly channeled to this point, the road north of Agadez. Here, the commander lies in wait.

His soldiers made excellent bait: retreating up the road, they move just fast enough to stay out of harms way for the most part, while giving the impression of easy pickings. The Africans come closer, closer. There would be no escape for them now.

"Now."

From as far as half a mile away Asp launchers begin to fire their now secretly Starlite-treated projectiles, which sail toward the defenseless armor of the Africans. Mechs and tanks are obliterated in the onslaught, and in the chaos, the Muslims attack.  Cries of "Allahu Akbar" fill the hills as they stream onto the plains supported by the full might of the Caliphate's armored divisions, themselves impervious to rockets as they had wisely developed a point defense system based on kinetics. The once-retreating soldiers turn back and charge into battle, the only danger to their lives coming from railgun tanks miles away.

News of the Battle of Agadez spreads like wildfire across the world in the next few days, and until reinforcements can be sent, the line in Niger shatters, as Commander Kutaiba drives south towards the Nigerian border.

--------

The President of the CSA had been right to say the Caliphate could not be underestimated, but sadly his allies had done so anyway. They were not alone: the British had done it and been proven wrong, the Italians had done it and been humiliated, and the Greeks had done it and suffered for their hubris.

A million men now were moving into Niger along the Algerian roads, and after the Battle of Agadez they seem an existential threat if not addressed, as the main fighting has until now taken place in Chad. But the latter front is beginning to feel pressure very quickly as well, as a total of 1,500,000 men are reinforcing the current forces fighting there, bringing the total force close to 2 million. Attempts to gain armor superiority are met with initial success, but as in Niger the simple phasing in of Starlite-treated Asp rockets utterly negates this advantage, and Islamic forces push into the desert of northern Chad, the plains of Southern Chad, and now into the Central African Republic. Minefields are successful in denying area to the invaders, but as the Caliphate's war machine picks up momentum there is less and less time to lay them.

The idea that an army of five million men could be raised so quickly in the Commonwealth was laughable. Perhaps they could be equipped by the nation's foreign allies, but trained? There was not nearly enough time. This is quickly shown on the battlefield, where in many places purely African units rout in the face of the oiled machine that is the Islamic horde. Indeed, the only soldiers who prove their mettle against the disciplined, grizzled veterans fielded by the Caliph are those of the Dominion, who through artificial enhancement and the support of technology achieve a strength not yet seen by most Muslim soldiers. With that said, these are the most experienced fighters on the planet; the horrors levied against them by the Dominion, while deadly, do not strike nearly as much fear into their hearts as they would against a greener force.

In the heartland, the first 2,000,000 of the Caliphate's nearly 5,000,000 trained reserves have been mobilized, and begin to be distributed, with half of them going to fill the garrisons of the troops now fighting in Africa, while the other half prepares to deploy. Rhetoric against TRAC is at an all-time high, and in preparation for a possibly long war, the war ministry begins to openly recruit young Muslims to fight in the Jihad. A slave corps 400,000 strong is founded to serve as a powerful fighting force in the future, basing its tenants off those of the successful slave corps of the past, the Janissaries and Mamluks.

The attempt to compete with the IAF was valiant, and is not underestimated. But the Islamic Air Force had not gained its reputation for nothing. The 700 new fighters present in the Commonwealth, while capable of defeating TAI-TFXs, were nevertheless seriously, seriously outnumbered. The Caliphate has by now finally finished moving its Air Force into position, and strikes.

The targets are the Commonwealth's airfields. Ground forces would not feel the wrath of the IAF until the IAF ruled the skies uncontested, and this operation was designed to achieve that in one fell swoop. It involves all 2,000 TAI-TFX fighters, as well as no less than 7,000 standard fighters and fighter-bombers. Any defense is overwhelmed by brute force, if not by the skill of the pilots.

Upon clearing a path to the targets, these attack groups drop bombs to first disable the runways and then destroy any planes that were unable to be scrambled in time. If successful, the operation cripples the Commonwealth's ability to fight back in any capacity against the IAF.

As Ethiopia mounts a more competent defense than expected, Islamic troops pull back while still keeping pressure on the country's borders. They instead move through Somalia, where support for a Muslim regime is naturally stronger, in a maneuver to surround the country.

The Caliphate's newest improvement to its navy is now complete in the form of a new class of revolutionary light ships, designed to be deadlier even than the Reclaimer Corporation's attack boats which had proven so deadly against the Islamic navy. Cheap and easy to produce, they move faster than anything on the water, cannot be detected on radar, and are equipped with Qahhar cannons to literally slice apart opposing forces. A hundred of these are already built, with more soon to come.

In addition, the Islamic Army begins development of something new, a class of small drones designed to attack in swarms...

With most projects nearing completion, the next generation in the Caliphate's suite of advanced military support is unveiled to upper command. The first is from the TAI, who has been expected to unveil a successor to the TFX for some time now:

f3528b08d23d264f4addaa47e1a80afb.jpg

They deliver, by proposing a fully unmanned sixth generation fighter, to be controlled by the same VI which is under development for Wasp drones, and which consistently outperforms human pilots in simulation. But while Wasp drones are designed to fight as a group and carry low armament per individual, this fighter will be faster and more maneuverable than anything on the planet, taking decades of engineering experience into mind. The importance of this project cannot be underestimated, as the advent of the Dominion's new generation of fighters is expected to quickly reduce the IAF's dominance in its campaigns.

The new fighter will be as heavily armed as the TFX, with the addition of electronic warfare components, designed to scramble other VI in an area and jam computerized systems on competing planes.

To complement the Caliphate's coming Suleiman bombers, the development of three synergizing classes of missile is also announced:

((Watch video for full description))

To combat the prevalence of AA technology, the MALD, JSOW and HARM missiles, designed and forgotten earlier in the century, are to be utilized by the IAF to eliminate resistance from the ground. MALD missiles are low-cost decoys meant to stimulate air defenses before an attack, reveal hidden AA positions, and drain munitions of the defense. They will be able to be deployed from fighters, bombers or en masse from other platforms in order to saturate the airspace. They also will be equipped with radar jamming capabilities in preemptive or reactive modes in order to passively protect friendly aircraft.

JSOW in contrast is a strike weapon, meant to destroy virtually any ground-based target once identified by MALDs or other means. A low radar and infrared signature will ensure survivability in heavily defended areas, and infrared seeking capability will allow for precise targeting on moving objects.

HARM is the final class of missile, and is designed to home in on and destroy radar installations. Programmable exclusion zones will prevent fratricide, as these missiles disable the enemy's ability to spot incoming aircraft or further missiles.

Beyond these complementary missiles, preliminary designs are drawn up for both a ground-to-ground missile and a versatile, any-target missile.

Mod post:

As the Islamic Caliphate's armies march into Africa, a meeting containing all heads of ((NPC)) states in Africa takes place in Johannesburg, out of harm's way. The meeting is relatively short, lasting only one hour before a consensus is reached. The President of the DRC is the first to make a press announcement to his people and the world.

"People of the Congo, of Africa, of the world. Today I announce a historic decision that has been made by me and my African peers. In the face of the insatiable and ruthless aggression displayed by the Caliphate, we have as one body elected to form a coalition to counter this external threat to the independence of all African peoples. We would like to stress this is not a unification of our states, but is instead a necessary step needed to be taken to preserve our own lives and countless traditions that the people of Africa have kept for millennia.

We invite the AFRIKAN COMMONWEALTH and SOUTH AFRICA to join us, for our security and theirs.

Africa will not fall to the Islamists today, or ever."

As the announcement is made, troops and armour stream North to the front lines in the millions, coming from Malawi to the Congo to the Western Sahara. The remaining west African States push up into Morocco with a force of 300,000 troops supported by thousands of modern tanks, artillery and aircraft. Over 2 million troops move into engage the invading force in Ethiopia, supported by armour and the airforce. Furthermore, some 1 million troops move through the Sahara and into Tunisia and Algeria, and although they suffer some losses to attrition, they get through with the majority of their force.

In all areas, the Caliphate forces are being pushed back, and yet more African troops are mobilising and heading North.

Today was the day.

South Africa's official stance on the war was to be announced. Across the world, T.V.'s would be lit to show not Elon Musk, but Marshal Dcomba Siamono, the Madagascar immigrant turned superstar of South Africa through his brilliant revitalization of the army's training and discipline. He'd glare into the camera set up near him, as he loudly begins his speech.

PRESIDENT-MICHAEL-SATA-OF-ZAMBIA-too-lar

"Dearest people of Africa, we can assure you now that you will be defended by our nation's forces, and those already overtaken, LIBERATED by our hands. For too long have our continent been the subject of imperialism, and it is time we struck back at these invasive Arabian peoples. As I speak, our navy moves to sink the Caliphate's forces moving to Somalia into the ocean. Our men are landing in Ethiopia - 350 000 to be exact, with more to come, as they too move to maintain the lines while squashing the measly forces sent there. Our air force will now harass their navy, and their military positions, and our remaining 2 950 000 men will intercept and destroy the forces coming from Nigeria, conscious of the forces in Chad. We will smash them hard, and with the guidance of TRAC's forces, as well as Brightsword servicemen, we will hit them hard."

Interrupted by applause by the government assembly, he yells out over them as it begins to fade.

"To those fellow African's that may consider aligning themselves with the Caliphate, know you are committing suicide, no matter which side wins: These men are not champions of the Muslim faith, but rather champions of the Sunni Muslims that agree with those like the late Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in the belief that backwards hadiths - The viscous suppression of women, a strict moral code on sexual activity that is contradicted with the belief that you will get dozens of women for your service as a martyr in the afterlife is absurd. Absolutely absurd. They will look to you not as African's, not as Muslim's, but as Sufi's, and they will persecute you the same way their Turkish ancestors did, the way that ALL extreme Sunni's have. To give yourself unto the Caliphate because of religious belief's is the greatest oxymoron of our lifetime, for they will either make you convert, or kill you. Remember this, my fellow African's, and know that we will break the Caliph's sword in your defence, that we will bring the prosperity that has been given to our nation to the rest of the continent, and share it with African's, not invasive Arabian imperialists. This is Africa, the sand is made red from the blood spilt, we have endured imperialism before and came out stronger. The Caliph will meet the same result, this time the blood of the invaders will make the sand red."

Hyper nationalist Zulu's begin to chant, with applause breaking out again, Dcomba yelling out over them.

"We officially invite the Afrikan Commonwealth to merge with our fair nation, so we may find ourselves truly one step closer to uniting the continent under a Pan-African Nation! We plead that all nation's not under the Caliphate's sway to take up arms under our banners, so that they may not only survive, but thrive under true African leadership, free of oppression and imperialism! Let us stand united in driving out those who would steal from us, and oppress us! Let us show that no force will prevent an African from exercising self determination, oppress us into silence, or take from us our freedom!"

By now, the entire congress would be standing, applauding loudly, chanting happily in approval. Dcomba would nod to the camera, a look of determination on his face as it cut out to celebrations of the Olympic games, national propaganda, and displays of the forces moving around. Africa was one step closer to being a united continent.

The recruitment drive is fueled by the poverty of recently accepted nations. Arming the masses is hard, but managed with the support of TRAC. Numbers will be skyrocketing.

Zimbabwe and Mozambique are now largely up to South African standards of living, with the infrastructure finally made stable. Those who fail to be employed are largely ending up in the army in some capacity.

350 000 men are sent into Ethiopia via air, with 100 tanks, and 300 APV's air lifted over as well. Smaller transport vehicles are also provided as they are to Counter attack the 50 000 men in Ethiopia with 150 000 men, another 150 000 to smash into forces invading Somalia, the last 50 000 moved to South Sudan to support resistance there. The 2 950 000 left to save the Afrikan Commonwealth are moved quickly to the front lines, 2 000 000 men and 2/3's of the Armour is moved to the Chad line, with hopes to simply overwhelm the forces very high, with the remainder sent to intercept the half million Caliphate forces coming through Niger. Anyone who doesn't receive transport after reaching the front line move off road in a guerrilla style, hoping to spot and harass any sneak attacks.

South Africa intends on taking a lead role in this new, grand coalition, and sends aid across Africa, intending to build up its infrastructure like it did to those who came to it. Dcomba suggests its forces move through South Sudan, and smash the Chadian line from the east. Greek Armour (both body and Tank) is provided for this new army, and are quickly moved to be brought up to South African standards. Training also begins, as it is hoped that these men can be made a competent fighting force. Requests to become a greater nation are extended with the Afrikan Commonwealth and to merge with South Africa and to become a larger, greater African state are out there.

Lastly, one last attempt to reach out to the Far Eastern Empire is made, but with far less zeal. Defence craft are put along the east coast, ready in case the Eastern Bloc decides to intervene.

Ethiopian/Somali Campaign

xziihgidpoijpaxs.png

The men dedicated to Ethiopia's war effort moved north, using the road to Eritrea to liberate it, and smash the Caliph's forces pushing into the scorched Earth of Ethiopia, and, hopefully, flank those intending to invade Somalia. These men would secure Asmara - Eritrea's capital, and send 30 000 men to secure the country, whilst the remaining 120 000 would press hard towards Somalia. The hope is to steer the Caliph's forces either into Somalia, and suffer a pincer movement coming from there, or into the main line, and to make them suffer a different pincer movement between allied forces and the main like in the East. All 300 of South Africa's APV's in Ethiopia would be dedicated to this, as well as all of the fastest transport vehicles in the area: Speed was essential, as the forces of the Caliph must quickly be driven to one of the to movements to ensure the best results. The Eritrean garrison would raise local militia's and secure the country until operations allowed for reinforcements.

Somalia's coast is guarded by the entirety of South Africa's navy (with the exception of 20 or so major coastal defense craft further south) and move along the coast, striking hard against the transport ships of the Caliphate. If the submarines are finding themselves overwhelmed, they will largely stay near docks in Berbera and Bosaso, destroying any ships trying to dock. Both aircraft carriers are brought close, too, and large air wings are sent to destroy the ships and provide air superiority for South Africa's ships, while hopefully harassing mainland troops between Somalia and Eritrea.

Somalia itself will receive another 150 000 to drive off the rest of the Caliph's forces, and force them into the coast, or drive them towards the Eritrean forces. This part of the army would receive 75 tanks, as to ensure the pummeling of these men. Hargeisa is to be secured before a drive northwest towards Borama, or to the main defensive line in East Ethiopia. It is expected to be a smashing success: Ethiopia only received 50 000 troops from the Caliph to secure it, and Somalia must not be much different. It is hoped this campaign is quick, so that excursions north, towards Egypt, can be attempted.

Under the defensive line created in the west, 50 000 men are sent to begin fighting with South Sudanese forces, and drive northward.

(adding more soon, will also come with improved maps)

The Far Eastern Empire

The government of the Empire had said no word or made no actions about the Caliphate's moves on Afrika, but the ever increasing production of the Japanese-invented drone armies made it obvious to any nation in the world, that the largest Empire in the Pacific was readying for war. The combined fleet of the Chinese and Japanese - now the largest and most advanced in the world - began circling Pacific waters all over. Submarines patrolled from the Bering (where a small detachment of the Chinese fleet still was) to Pearl Harbor and lower, keeping a deadly unseen presence in the depths.

The most shocking thing to come out of the Empire was the accusation of USAC and Californian intrusions into Russia through Far Eastern airspace. It is announced to the world, that the Americans had been meddling in the remnants of Russia, and it is suspected that military bases could have been established. Eastern Siberia was under the governing of the Far East, and the Eastern Bloc (which has now been renamed the Pacific-Central Alliance), so Foreign Affair officials have condemned these intrusions of airspace. Several reports of kidnapping and disappearances have also found their way to the government and the Daimyo of Siberia, although they have not been seen as connected to the intrusions. Due to the minimal amounts of radiation past the Urals, less reports of radiation immune people have been filed in, but a man named Dmitry Volostoy 'hands himself in' to the Far Eastern Siberian governed area, claiming to have been unaffected by the nuclear fall out in the west. Immediately, blood samples and tests begin on him, hoping to possibly find an immunity in him. Thus, Project Seal starts.

The Indian-Eastern task force of 200,000 men equipped with the latest nanosuit technology split up - 100,000 men going to Turkey, 75,000 men in Morocco and Lybia, 10,000 in Egypt, 10,000 in Israel and 15,000 being left under the Caliph's generals direct command. The men are given two rules - retrieve the armor should the wearer be killed, or if not possible, destroy it, and follow orders. General Tak-Yo informs the Caliphate that these men are not to be deployed in Europe nor Africa, but are only to defend the Caliphate's homeland. The soldiers sleep in separate barracks from the Muslims, and are careful not to show their face should any Islamic militant dislike the idea of Buddhists or Hindus in their territory - allies or not.

A heavy naval presence builds up near Indonesia, probably causing alarm to the Australasian population. However, the Australian Federation are accepted into the Pacific-Central Alliance on economic and military grounds, and a non-aggression pact is obviously signed. Trade with the Far Eastern Empire and the rest of the PCA opens up freely again after tensions began mounting, granting a boom to the economies. It is not enforced, but it is hoped that the Australasian Federation would end military, not trade, alliances with TRAC. Finally, the entire Pacific was united in some way.

The drone army controlled by Japanese soldiers in the mainland, through neurolinked virtual reality, has definitely started to take shape. In a parade outside of Kyoto, thousands of the soldiers lined up, saluting and marching. The number of said drones is confidential, but many active Chinese military men get put into the army reserves. Chinese VR systems also begin construction, as Chinese soldiers are trained by Japanese ones. Only the most elite 'pilots' pass the course, as only the best could control the drones. One good soldier could control 10 drones in a battle, albeit not simultaneously, which reconnection to a different drone being available. This is also called 'respawning'. However, for each round a drone takes, the soldier will also feel the brunt of the impact. Even with these new droids, a large recruitment drive begins across the country, with the end goal of around 10,000,000 soldiers.

The USAC

The United States of America & Canada

T.R.A.C - Confederation with CSA

"Are you ******* kidding me..."

The president froze as Ashton Davis Carter, the Secretary of Defense, brought him the news that it was common knowledge now that the USAC was meddling in Eastern Russia. Furiously Francis would walk to the entire State Department awaiting his private address, those damn Democrats couldn't get anything done! Their Cain't never could attitude brought the entire administration into jeopardy.  He was quick to call in the cavalry as Jeff Rathke addresses the world.

"There is /no/ USAC involvement in the Russian hemisphere since the Medvedev Administration four decades ago.  The State Department and President Underwood is not informed of any American activity in Eastern Russia, although our intelligence indicates that the NCR has been sending unidentified vessels to the west. But the foreign policy of the NCR is unknown to the entire T.R.A.C coalition. "

As existing technology and some enhanced equipment is used for the construction of NASA's first vessel since years, the commissioned Orbital Interceptor is launched into orbit to have primary USAC defenses against operational weaponry like the Ghandi. Although it wasn't as advanced as the Orbital Interceptors from USAC's space colleagues, it was a reliable defense system that would eliminate any unauthorized spacecraft within USAC borders.

Underwood meanwhile met in the USAC command center with CIA director Ashley Woods and various other American generals to discuss a risky operation. The African T.R.A.C members were directly attacked by the Caliphate, Underwood anticipated that the Germans would help but such seemingly was not the case.  There was an universally known thing about the USAC, they will not annex any land. Thus, Underwood thought it had the diplomatic leverage to undertake its own operation on the Islamic State.

2 Aircraft carriers were put under the control of the South African Government, including 100,000 troops send as a delegate to help the Africans in their defense. Due to the established bases there, it was an easy mobilization. 500,000 troops are made ready to be send as a delegation with the rest of the USAC navy.

military-600x350.jpg

The Caliphate didn't have a military tradition like the USAC throughout its proud decades of being the best military on the planet. Nor did they have the schools, the logistics and the people. It is Human nature to have the lust to be free, no century old culture would allow itself to be forgotten in a mix of thousands of others under a Caliph in Turkey. The USAC would be seen as liberators, it felt good.

The Great Jihad For Africa

The West African Front

DdqGckq.png

Red - CSA
Orange - Dominion
Dark Blue - USAC
Black - Caliphate
Light Blue - South Africa
Purple - Coalition
Green - Commonwealth

The Caliph and his forces pushed hard against the purely Commonwealth troops in Niger, consisting of only about 1,500,000 trained soldiers. The Battle of Agadez had been a devastating blow to troop morale, and for a while the Niger front seemed lost to Commonwealth soldiers, that was until the announcement of The Great Coalition formed out of the rallying of free African states, including South Africa. Morale once again soared, and Coalition troops brought much needed supplies and equipment that the Commonwealth, who had to mobilize incredibly too fast, required. The Coalition also gave the Commonwealth more time to properly organize themselves, something that would work against the Caliph. However, the Commonwealth has been forced to retreat closer to the edge of the Nigerian border with Niger, but have since established defensive lines there, ready for the coming wave. They would not be pulled out of their position so easily yet again. American/TRAC forces have driven the Caliph's gains in the north to a halt, though no gains have been made in either direction.

The Central African/Sudanese Push

(see bottom right of image for West Africa)

While the Caliphate believed they would press the advantage by invading from the East, maneuvering away from the Sahara, they had made what turned out to be a rather devastating error, though the Commonwealth could not account for such things either. As the Caliph attempted to push through the Sudan, Coalition forces of about 350,000 came from the Southern flank, smashing into their defensive positions while the Commonwealth's formerly defensive stance with 400,000 trained soldiers quickly became offensive, seizing upon the success of the flank. The Caliphate lost a decisive battle, The Battle of Nyala in Sudan, which resulted in a large rout of Islamic forces toward the Egyptian border.

The Horn of Africa

Black - Caliphate
Blue - Ethiopians
Red - Order of St. George
Purple - Coalition Forces
Light Blue - South Africa

Ethiopian forces, now supplemented by Coalition forces from the relatively moderate powers of Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, hold their lines steadily. Though as the West Africans push into Sudan and the Caliphate retreats away from their Northern border, the Ethiopians and Order of St. George seize their chance. Numbering only about 450,000 together they push hard down into the Sudanese lowlands, pursuing the retreating armies. Though if the Islamic forces would turn to face them, they would quickly find themselves smashed between the army bearing down on them from the West (Commonwealth/Coalition/South Africa), and that which is moving from the East (Ethiopia/St. George/South Africa/Coalition Forces).

As the Islamic forces move down to attempt to take out Somalia, they would have found that they made yet another mistake. Tactically, this move was a complete failure as it isolated them from a chain of supply. The Order of St. George, Somalian military assets, and a few Ethiopian battalions (numbering loosely 550,000, mostly trained) were about to liberate Djibouti as they carelessly advanced, cutting off vital land supply lands. With the South African navy contesting the waters along the Gulf of Aden, as well as on-water Somalian raids, the Caliph's forces were cut off, resulting in rather astounding losses in the area and effectively pushing the Caliphate out of the Horn of Africa.

Mod Post 2 - The Boring Ones Not At War

The Soviet's scouting missions into the hot zones bear little fruit. By now, whoever could make it out of the west has. What they find is rather discouraging, large scale radioactive wastelands. Hostile, mutated environments as well as a local wildlife that is highly aggressive to humans and other animals as only the most alpha of predators have survived. Otherwise, very little is found in the way of people. What people they do find, who are still alive, are far too radiated to return to the city because they are poisoned beyond any reasonable chance of survival.

The attempt to find the Soviet Space Command bears little fruit at first, but using old maps and general knowledge, the area is found. What they find there is rather plain. Though a complex bunker system seems to protrude down into the Earth, but the doors are sealed and nobody has dared to go in, and nobody has come out.

Το Ελληνικό Δημόσιο

Αίμα, Τιμή, Χρυσή Αυγή

The Olympic bid is won by Germany. Hoorah!

The ancient enemies of the Hellenic peoples, the Turks, had finally begun to waver. They had reached a point in Africa where their forces were being flung back to the Mediterranean, the T.R.A.C forces pushing forwards. And now the Latin-Hellene State would move against their forces. In the countries large opposition had been brewing for months, a wave of militancy possessing the nations. And now, finally, it was acted upon by the two states.

In Italy, the forces of the Italian army are mustered, supplemented by the newest AG-1 tanks and with over 800 Reclaimer drones fighting. With half of their forces split up to attack the forces holed up in the boot of the Italian peninsula, the other half are used to attack Sicily - the drones attached to that force.  With the sudden attacks into areas ravaged by insurrection and Caliphate forces drawn to the south, the attacking troops easily push through beginning defences and are predicted to make massive gains. Air forces deployed easily have a large effect with the majority of their forces used up in Africa.

Forces in Greece are deployed differently, with the vast majority of the AG-1 tanks used here, along with Greek soldiers armed with body armour and advanced technology. The majority of the force, along with the tanks and massive artillery and aerial support, are deployed in Thrace. Storming over the borders they aim to re-take Istanbul with hundreds of thousands deployed in glorious battles. Two other forces are arrayed, one launching from Adrianople across the Aegean, guided by heavy air cover they aim to punch large holes through defences. Using the tanks as heavy attack power they aim to punch large holes all the way to where the Kommens Line was first built, with troops pushing in behind to secure it. Another force of the same size launches from Athens towards Anatolia, the same intentions in mind.

With the fierce nationalism in their hearts, the Greeks had managed to muster a large enough force of soldiers to pull this off, setting aside food problems by introducing basic rationing for some time. In the Mediterranean the fleets are moved around in a solid naval formation, that of a square - the same one used by the Reclaimers to such devastating effect. Able to prevent flash attacks and hold together a large enough force to have an impact, they secure the Aegean and Sicilian Straits first and foremost.

yn9VdNW.png

The AG-1 tank is the flagship of Hellenic ingenuity and technology, developed over several years. Equipped with advanced desert camouflage to meld into the environments, one of the most fuel-efficient engines of any armoured vehicles and an advanced communications system it becomes an incredibly efficient tank to deploy. When coupled with the sheer speed and weaponry they deploy, they become monsters in the field of shock warfare and the 'blitzkrieg', equipped with enough vehicle armour to stop stray attacks and yet not slow them down.

Brightsword Defense Incorporated]

City-State of Puerto Rico

The modernization of Puerto Rico was a success.

future_city_too_by_robertdbrown-d3gq92q.

The city was equipped with various modern commodities, designed by local engineers hired out of the CSA with directives from Urban Management Puerto Rico, as a green city which uses the finest readily-available solar paneling systems to provide it energy. The entire city was built by Puerto Rican builders, providing many of them with a job until the city was done, increasing general prosperity across the island. Puerto Rico makes a bid to host the next Olympics in it's newly modernized confines after Germany.

Drone production in the Puerto Rican factories continues in the interim (7000/3 pages)

Brightsword R&D Concern

Research on the light, "tier one" mech moves along swimmingly. The machine, called a Brightsword Cataphract as of now, is being fit to carry and control drones in a large side compartment, and is fit with anti-infantry guns and an armored cockpit.

3ce2ca8c2af26ca14aff378c411c9338.png

After the completion of that project, Brightsword will start researching a lightweight anti-armor device, an extension on railgun technology that Brightsword tried to acquire from the CSA. The device will be known as "Caber" (Mod)

Brightsword PMC Concern

Brightsword mercenaries engage in fighting with the Caliphate on payment and orders of the CSA

Recruitment of soldiers is from now on hard-capped at 50,000. Recruits will be hereby hired to replace deceased personnel.

South Africa

Flag_of_South_Africa.png

Every person in every part of South Africa is Jubilant. The smashing success' of South Africa in Somalia, Ethiopia, and Sudan have people in constant celebration. The armed forces are now flooded with people eager to see action and attain glory. Production is heightened as well, as nationalism is at an all time high in the face of this unparalleled success. Marshal Dcomba is already being hailed for these achievements, though he is deaf to them: His eyes still lying on the north.

East Sudan/Horn of Africa Campaign

He looks over the maps quietly, pleased that his focus in the East has garnered the total success needed to kick of the South African involvement, though he is sure resistance will only grow greater. The 350 000 troops in Somalia move to press Khartoum, as he prays that he may reach it before the Caliphate, preventing them from returning to Egypt, and regrouping for a proper counter attack. The 100 000 men the USAC has dedicated to this cause are also brought to support the contest of the horn, with the two aircraft carriers brought to the Horn of Africa to continue to enforce naval and air superiority. The submarines move closer to Port Sudan, using the major port in Massawa, Eritrea to refuel and repair. They intercept any Caliphate troops trying to land, or pull out, sticking close to the coast in case they are spotted. Marshal Dcomba asks that the Ethiopian forces support his move the Khartoum, whilst the Order of St. George and Coalition forces press north to secure Port Sudan. The main force will continue to drive back the Caliph's men who used to hold the western line in Ethiopia, with Dcomba planning for half the total forces to be dedicated to Both the capture of the coast and to cut them off at the capital, though this is up to the other nations leaders whether or not this will come to fruition. South Africa will be moving to Khartoum either way. 100 000 men from the other side of the front are transported over, and used to press with the main force against the remnants of the Caliph's forces in the Horn of Africa, launching from Gondar, set to cut off the main attack force against the Central African Republic, effectively crushing them in a pincer. After this interception, they too will move to Khartoum to meet up with forces there.

Coalition forces from South Sudan and Uganda are asked to take over and press the Caliphate out of Southern Sudanese cities, forcing them onto the main road towards and trapping them between 3 major forces and a desert. of A map with Dcomba's plan is given to allied forces:

oG3ywZk.jpg

Green = Submarines

Purple = South Sudanese and Ugandan forces

Yellow = Western main force

Red = Eastern main force

Blue = South African and Ethiopian forces

Brown = St. George and African Horn Coalitionist forces

Black = Main forces after Coalitionary forces from Uganda and South Sudan meet with both fronts

X's = Major cities along the way, where battles have, or may take place

Niger Campaign

Dcomba looked with great frustration to Niger. 500 000 men had driven out the Afrikan Coalition? The idea to Dcomba was absurd, but he had to accept what he was dealt. Seeing no threat on the Sudanese front (The Caliph's forces outnumbered nearly 5/1 after reinforcements) he takes 1 000 000 and a 1/3 of South Africa's armour capabilities with him. 1 000 000 remain with the main force, to ensure success when Egypt is reached, but the now 1 950 000 man strong South African army was now moving to save West Africa - Starting with Niger.

The 1 000 000 men from the Central African front are moved to the closer city of Zinder, the 950 000 already bound for Niger arriving in Tahoua. They both press quickly towards Agadez - This time, outnumbering there foes 4/1 alone. He calls for the forces defending southern Niger, as well as the coalition forces moving to the front lines on this front, to either move up with them and move to flank the Caliph's forces moving into Chad's desert, or help create a stronger defensive line in Chad. An attempt to gain air superiority over Agadez is launched from these two cities, with 1/3 of South Africa's air forces now operating in the west to assure success. The two armies set off for Agadez now, hoping to pincer the Caliph's forces out of existence.

A map is handed off to the generals of the coalition:

ehOH33J.png

Black = South African forces

Green = Commonwealth and Coalition suggested route of attack

Blue X = 2nd Battle of Agadez

Red X's = Cities that may see heavy defense and warrant a full scale battle

Now Dcomba waited, watching to see how things unfolded...
