The U.S.A.C

 

Operation Pyros

 

The Pentagon saw the continent succumbing to its own militarism. The CSA could win if it pressures enough, which was enough reason to use alternative weaponry to weaken the invaders enough. Ashton Davis Carter realized that the lumberjack industry was a very prominent one in South American territories controlled by the CSA, such was a key node to maintain the CSA army.

 

 

Millions of dollars go from the USAC treasury to bribe various citizens and companies to create the largest forest fire ever seen in Brazil. Regional forestry companies, who were facing bankruptcy due to the larger conglomerates scrambling what is left of the industry after the economic crash, would be pressured and bribed enough to participate. Thus, various villages and corporations who face poverty or are simply interested in the excessive amounts of rewards, started burning the bordering forests. Far away from the cities while having thick forestry was an ideal place to start an uncontrollable widlfire, which was attempted.

 

 

The success of Operation Pyros was determined by several factors which could not be controlled, the Pentagon hoped for the best.

 

Homeland Defense

 

As the Western Division is lost to a NCR surprise attack, all assets still in the seas and in air are retreated to the Defensive Sphere. Heavy garrisons are made within the cities and forests on the established frontier as shelling continues from behind the forests. PATRIOT systems rain missiles at presumed military establishments outside the Frontier, hoping to weaken the enemy presence there.

The Far Eastern Empire, Indian Branch

Tandon was in absolute horror as his beautiful city was destroyed in the blink of an eye, he watched as his family was killed in a blink of an eye. He watched his prize possession in the Ghandi destroyed. Tandon was in a firey rage, Arnold would pay, so would his people. An immediate requirement drive for people willing to get revenge is enacted (Pok for numbers).

As the Indian Navy is let free the retreat to Indian Waters. The military however is proxied through various PMCs, 1,000,000 official Indian soldiers return home. They will be given a period of rest before they march on their path to the hellish state of The Dominion. These troops will be outfitted with up-to-date Nanosuit armor and the new Dreadnoughts that have been finished.

These walking suits of armor would have a wounded soldier who could no longer fight successfully binded to this armor, this would come from people who have volunteered to be binded to these suits. These mechs would be armed with a 30mm as one of the arms and an arm that is used for close combat with other mechs or used to clear obstacles in the way, under mounted on the arm is a flamethrower used to clear heavily fortified postions.

Republic of Africa

 

 

 

The Homefront

 

Outraged didn't even begin to describe the feeling Dcomba Siamono felt at the debacle that was going on in the Commonwealth realm, and in North Africa. He was so overwhelmed at the failure of North Chadian troops to move south, he locked himself away for 3 days to calm himself, drinking and cussing loudly in his estate. On the fourth day, he invited in his generals, and readied a speech and maps to show the lines of attack. (maps will come soon with the war edit.)

 

Across the Republic, anxiety and outrage is at an all time high at the recent use of WMD's. Dcomba Siamono reminds the world of the poor state of Earth, and demands an end to the destruction of these epicenters of human life. Ethiopia is given a quick scolding for subscribing to this idea, but does not stop them.

 

Terraforming is finally completed, and the land surrounding Africa's colony on Mars begins to be made inhabitable. (Will edit for major details on this.)

 

A new project, code-named "Sokizimani" is put underway. (details coming later)

 

International Affairs

 

Despite the conflict, many aid groups leave from Cape Town and to Delhi and Tokyo, with food, water, and portable shelters for the people. They will provide first aid as well, so long as they aren't sunk. They are marked with white flags with red crosses, like the old days. China is asked if it can move overland to Beijing to assist by these aid groups, and will move if accepted.

 

USAC Mercenaries are scolded for its destruction of the South American jungle, and condemned publicly for this action. Dcomba boldly claims that if Earth's finally plunged into an environmental stage that kills off humanity, they are to blame. The Republic refuses to trade or associate with them until they end this scorching of the Earth. It is suspected that the USAC is behind it, almost certainly, but not much can be done until it is proven. Despite the situation in Africa, 250 000 men from Angola and Mozambique (Chosen for speaking the local language: Portuguese) to both fight forest fires and deal with these fools. The CSA is assured that if they wish to expel the forces, they may, but it is also reinforced that it is necessary for every living person on the face of the planet to defend the wildlife. The forces are left to their command.

 

The leaders against the Caliphate are asked to meet on questions arising about North Africa, and are asked to send men into Lagos to reinforce the line, or join the flanking maneuver about to connect with the Caliph's forces.

 

 

War

 

 

This map shown the new line to be held. Each major city along it was to offer every fighting man available. The line the once held 4.5 million men strong was shattered, and reduced to only 2.9 in one powerful smash. Finally regrouped, Coalition forces from the now safe West Africa poured in, in droves. 1.2 million men quickly came to support the northern flank to Niger, though it was apparent that most were ill prepared for combat, would find themselves reinforced by a veteran core of 100 000 soldiers from Algeria, returning from fighting insurgents to assure the safety of their flank. The center of the line, and closest to the coast, found itself defended by 2.5 million men, many being zealous men and women of Nigeria, driven in a fit of patriotism to save their old country. On the Southern flank, 1 million men rested, fresh from the old countries of South Africa. Should they be reinforced in time by Congolese forces, the line will attempt a counter attack at the now depleted force, divided between fighting the German and African forces in North Chad and the mass in center, this end of the line finds itself zealously attacked, with hopes of ending this most successful of Caliphate fronts.

 

In north Africa, of the 2 000 000 men still up there, 1 500 000 are dedicated to taking out insurgents, and the other 500 000 to holding the line in Libya established by the Germans. It is demanded that all true African's rise up against their Caliphate colonialists, and help freeze them in place as they are smashed viciously. In East Africa, more ships, Tali's and Normandy's are sent, but the men are simply replenished to their 1 000 000 man strong formation. Coalition forces in Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda and other countries are asked to reinforce the lines ASAP.

 

Greek interests in taking out the Caliphate's presence in space, and his space elevator, find the full support of all ships put in space by Africa. Classes of ships, and their numbers are being clarified, but there are currently 21 000 men and women in space, manning their stations. On Mars, another 50 men join the 350 men already stationed around the city.

South American Federation

 

 

For a long while, The South American Federation had remained quiet in its global affairs and had been quietly focusing on its research and constructions, moving troops back and forth and doing daily tactical drills or scenario drills for possible invasion forces-New plans are put down in replacement of old invasion plans that were sorely out dated.

 

SPACE

 

The SAF Space station had also been going quite well as investors continue giving the government money to improve the station's already great appearance while something...new is put into production, something massive that will give the SAF a suitable place in space. A massive capital ship equipped with Rail gun turrets of various sizes along with many point defenses and missiles to destroy any fighters, trying to keep the Reclaimer Corps from taking their ship as easily as they did the British Imperium. Another precaution is set in place as two large hanger bays surrounded by lots of defenses to prevent anything from getting in without authorization and quickly another smaller space vehicle is put into production along side the Capital ship while crews are trained for these ships.

The Fighters are also equipped with the latest Rail gun technology, missile and point defenses.

 

 

Worldly Affairs 

 

Long meetings go on inside the Argentina capital building which over the years has become a great beauty, everything in the nation had been renovated and fixed in the best way possible. The Queen and her council look at the Andean government in slight annoyance, it had been there for so long...yet had done nothing to help its populace and appeared to have not changed at all in the past years, plans are set and made for the near future while the government also watches the war in North America, specifically CSA as they ask them over secure channels if they'd like some assistance. More precautions are also made as they watch and see the fires burning in Brazil and in almost an instant forces are sent consisting of Military Personnel and Relief aid as any other place that had not been burn't were instantly seized to prevent more fires(Basically troops (around 1000) are deployed to Brazil to try and prevent more burning). Defenses in all had been growing and developing to a very formidable defense. Meanwhile, More troops are stationed around the Government's Lumber Industries to protect them from possible terrorist attacks.

 

Research and Production

 

As said, A massive Capital ship is set into production and fighters are also set into construction along side it(MODPLZ) while the Fusion Engines and Terra forming goes as planned...The SAF Mining Asteroid Operation goes well with the help of the British Imperium and it is expected to be finished in the near future.

 

Another plan is put into action, The scientists begin to try and research the thing that will possibly give them a kind of edge, the basic of Shield tech a shield that can take shots like nothing but the scientists will only be able to create a shield powerful enough to sustain a couple of powerful shots before collapsing and needing a time to recharge, They plan to use the Fusion Engines to supply these seriously draining devices

The Siege of Tunis

 

The reply came at dawn, Tunis would not surrender to the Italians and British. With the golden standard held high, the Sons of The Eagle began their bombardment. Left with around 1,000 AG-1 tanks, they began to unload on the city itself. Meanwhile from the sea, the British navy and the Italian railgun ships join the bombardment, crippling the tallest buildings and setting the ports to ruin. The bombardment continues for hours into the night... until all is silent, the last railgun shot sounds, followed by the crumbling of buildings. The screams had stopped a long time ago though. Marching in, The Sons of the Eagle begin to eliminate any resistance. This would be quick. 400,000 Italians picked through the ruble, executing those with weapons and helping the women and children... after checking them for weapons and bombs of course. Once any Pro-Caliphate Governors are discovered, they will be lined up in the desert and crucified. (Mod can tell success of siege).

The Invasion Of Libya

 

 

The Italian Republican Legion had broken off from the main force, heading towards Libya to shut down the insurgency and secure a peaceful pro-Carthaginian environment there. At first, securing the outer coastal and desert villages had been easy, but as they got further east IEDS, guerilla attacks from the desert, and other attacks from insurgents had become more thick. The Italian Legion had to come up with a different plan... and quick. They would split off, moving to shut down advances by Caliphate troops in the desert while the larger force would move along the coast battling the now readied Islamic soldiers who had been left behind from the massive migration south for war. The general of Operation: Scipius II drew up a plan for his commanders to follow. Heavy resistance was also met in the cluster of cities on the coastal capital area, those were staked out by encampments and then heavily bombed from the sea and air. The siege on the capital would commence once the smaller cities had been seized.

The Jaguar is Orion Avionic's main hull, which can be fitted with various modules to serve a roll anywhere from a support frigate to a stasis refrigerator. Mammoth Spacecraft Carrier

The role served by the Mammoth should be one that is quite apparent. The ship is one of the largest star-ships in existence, capable of safely carrying up to 72 of Orion's fighters in three hangar bays, though it would be an easy refit to have it carry Lynxes, cargo, or a nation's own star-fighters. The Mammoth has plenty of armor and considerable local defense against enemy attacks, but it shouldn't be expected to stand up on its own in a prolonged fight without support or without its starfighter compliment.

 

 

Lynx High Altitude Low Orbit Support Gunship

The Lynx is Orion's in-atmosphere equivalent of the Jaguar. Also available in several variants, Lynxes come heavily armored with large cargo or military capabilities, making them a valuable asset to civilian and government alike. Though they aren't capable on interplanetary travel on their own, Lynxes are capable of doing most tasks that a Jaguar cannot, and can be stored on board a Mammoth for transport between planets.

Starfighters

The SF-1 Arbiter and the SF-2 Justiciar are Orion's two fighters built for in-atmosphere engagements, though both are fully capable of extra-atmospheric combat aboard a carrier. Both fighters are conventionally armed, but will be refitted with plasma technology as soon as it is fully developed and tested. Though lacking in the lasted forms of weaponry, the ships are both elegant and deadly, sporting some of the most advanced designs in every other aspect, from nose to engine.

The third starfighter produced by Orion is not suitable for atmosphere, mostly due to its armament. The SG-1 Executioner is a gunboat produced to be carried aboard Mammoth carriers. It is armed primarily with a variety of short-ranged heavy missiles to take the place of conventional missiles in space combat. The SG-1 is certainly capable of flying in atmosphere, but it simply isn't practical in atmosphere when better alternatives are available.

 

 

 

The engines fired full blast for the first time as the ship​ pulled away from the station to the cheers and delight of the on-board staff and technicians. Armed with an array of three large LION cannons and sophisticated propulsion systems, the Endeavor-class destroyer is an agile heavy hitter to serve a find compliment to the British Space Ministry. Baring an immodestly sized Orion logo and large white letters spelling out HMS Endeavor I on its side, the engineering masterpiece - or so its called by Orion - will pose a menacing threat to any ship that gets within its effective range. So impressed was the British government that they commisioned the construction of two more. Orion Avionics and Engineering accepts the contract, though they have little room for construction at the moment, and the ships must be postponed.

 

Most facilities of the British Polaris Cosmodrome and Ursa Cosmodrome are built and online, vastly improving construction speed and capacity. All that's left of the two sites are the twin space-launch bridges, due to be complete in 8 months. ((2 pages.))

Signing a contract with Greece, Orion provides the nation with a contingent of SF-1 Justiciars and prototypes of the upcoming SF-3 Constables, a bomber class starfighter. Greece, or Hera rather, is to field test these fighters in their war.

The Empire of Asia

Far Eastern Empire

 

 

The Empire had landed on the beaches, and fought in the streets. The Californian Dominion had kept its forces well hidden from the world; while the Asians killed every man, woman, and child they found, more than half of them were firing back. Halfway through the cities, the Far Eastern Empire set up blockades and barricades over the course of half an hour.

 

At 1:30, any Asian civilians, which could well be thousands of Chinese and Japanese, in San Francisco are given the offer to board a special transport back to Asia, where they will be welcomed in the resort island of Hainan and held there until the end of the war.

 

At 2:30 PST, massive cluster bombing raids start on most San Francisco areas down to San Jose.

 

 

At 3:30 PM PST, the cluster bombs are replaced by near-atmosphere bombing raids on every district in San Francisco and San Jose but Berkeley, and the cities were torn to shreds.

 

 

After the Californian-controlled parts of the cities, nearly all but the waterfront, has been turned to rubble by hundreds of pounds of explosives, the Asian military moves through it, gunning down anyone they found and fighting with as much or more zeal as an army would fight defending its homeland. The underground shelters the Californians owned that the Asians found were filled with machine gunners who came in and killed everyone not kneeling with their hands up and the traits of an Asian.

 

The fight didn't end in San Francisco, though. The area around it had a population nearly as large as the city itself, and both sides were out for blood.

 

Blood they would have.

 

 

The Asian battle plans had been drawn up with timing in mind. After San Francisco was taken, a quarter of the army would cross the bridge north and assault Santa Rosa, then loop around with the landing forces there and attack Sacramento. At the same time, the other three quarters would take San Jose, loop upwards to Berkeley, turn back downwards to take Santa Cruz. Meanwhile, the Sacramento army would split in two again, with half taking the small cities around it and splitting up, while the other half attacks Modesto and moves south with the three quarter main army. This was meant to happen within two days.

 

Meanwhile, Berkeley finds itself captured. The resistance is killed and guns are taken, but the beautiful UC campus and its neighborhood, which had a large Asian populace, had been spared when possible. The Far Eastern part of the Empire of Asia declares that the Bay Area consisting of the ruins of San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Modesto, Stockton, and Sacramento (Basically the circle made by the big cities on the map) will be kept by the Empire, but after the culling the rest of the land taken will be given to the CSA as a sign of good will.

 

The rest of the army moves south, burning what it cannot take and killing those not identified as Asian.

 

This army was four million strong though. The other five million struggled in a massive war in San Diego.

The Asian Empire didn't have the majority of their navy in San Diego - that was burning the Bay Area's defenses to hell. It did have a blockade in the San Diego harbor and landing points across the area near San Diego.

 

The commanders, though, had made a fatal mistake. The population in that area was as high or higher than the Asian army there, and they couldn't push more than a few miles inland before Californian reinforcements arrived in droves. The Asian army had to dig in, and even though they had better equipment, more experience, and could push back any Californian advance, they couldn't push forward. So they moved back and established lines near the coasts, where their superior navy could quickly pick them up and get them out of there if the fighting turned south.

 

Southern California was a standstill at best, and Arnold, just two hours away, still called for his people to join the fight.

 

At the same time, Asia's recruitment drive brought millions and millions of people looking for revenge, and even with no experience would have four months of training before being handed gear and prepared for another wave. Any dead bodies found in the front were looted for military gear and sent back to Asia, where they were cleaned and used by the recruits.

 

Without aid, it would be impossible for California to win this war.

After the USAC made it clear they were not heading for Mexico, the CSA navy set in motion. The majority of the CSA navy was stationed in the Caribbean isles and Panama. Reacting quick thanks to advanced naval surveillance/warfare drones patrolling their waters. The CSA navy hung back, allowing the USAC to steam into Brazil. However the CSA navy in Brazil would not be sitting idly in their docks. Forming a crescent, they would face the USAC head on. One stone-wall siege ship, five heavy rail-gun frigates, fifteen rail-gun frigates, fifteen advanced destroyers, and three drone control ships made up the anvil. Recently acquired Tali fighters from the Dominion were able to be put into play. Of the three hundred that were shipped in from Africa, a full hundred meet the USAC air force head on. They air supremacy fighters, and an easy match for the USAC, they prayed. The Stonewall had a land sized railgun powered by it's nuclear reactor, and it's range was large. It would snipe important USAC ships, like their carriers. Itself kept safe in a ring of frigates and underbelly of submarines, the stonewall would snipe away. The rest of the anvil kept to advancing in crescent formation.

 

The Hammer was the large CSA navy hanging back. The USAC would notice their advance and maybe have time to react, but they were now caught on two sides. The CSA navy just steaming in would advanced in three waves from different angles in V formations.

 

As for the land war, The green line is the new defense line, as the state militia reserves move in to consolidate gained land. Orange is an advance against the USAC line with One million CPNA, five hundred thousand state militia, and six hundred Dominion Death Korpsmen. The CSA would start with heavy shelling, then move in Mobile Infantry to skirmish. Hoping to keep USAC heads down, Dominion Tali's would fight for air supremacy, as bombers and regular fighters moved in to also hit the lines. The CPNA main advance would commence, in tactical pushes instead of waves. Take the favorable ground as they advanced, and setting up mortar teams to support the advance. Eight hundred rail-gun tanks would stay well behind the advance, picking off USAC vehicles. The regular three hundred thousand tanks would support the advance.

 

Turquoise is one thousand five hundred CPNA special forces taking the fight to the rocky mountains. They would try to push the USAC out, rapidly deploying with Dominion drop ships. Outfitted with Dominion rail-gun rifles, and stiffened by Dominion troops fighting on the other side of the mountains.

 

Purple is a minor one hundred thousand man push to take northern Canada.

​With the Dominion now a protectorate, the CSA had to act somehow. They could not fight the Asians, who had helped start the CSA from rebel to nation. But they also had obligations to the Dominion. Refugees are allowed to stream into CSA relief camps. Non military aid pours in, with large amounts of food. As a safety precaution, all Dominion tech blue prints and research is moved to safer areas of the CSA.

The United States of America and Canada, it was too good to be true. After decades of prosperity under the Underwood administration, they became too much of a threat to the globe. Desperate they were, taking down the only democratic bastion remaining in the world. Although half of the invaders had no clear reasoning, it didn't stop them from killing the brothers and sisters that had build up America from the ashes of its predecessor, the Union States.

 

They could fight, yes. They could participate in the games and outsmart them, waste resources and lives to make their desperate attempts null. But why would they? Underwood understood that it simply wasn't worth it, he would not lower himself to such levels in order to destroy the last bit of integrity the USAC had remaining. It wasn't about winning and losing, it was about politics. And that is example what Underwood wanted to do, politics.

 

 

 

"Greetings, Citizens of America and the world.

 

As the President of the United States of America and Canada, I have seen the rise and fall of many nations overseas and even here on our continent. When we were at the brink of this war, I spoke to you in hope and confidence that the American people can defend themselves and retaliate to the many hostilities we face daily. As an exceptional nation, we get exceptional threats.

 

A proud four million stands idle at the northern area's of the USAC to defend against the CSA invaders, our Asian partners are invading our NCR counterparts and we have nuclear assets on stand by. In reality, we have a chance to win. But I am here to tell you today, that we won't be taking that chance. For too long have we , the people of this world, considered human lives as nothing. There is more shock to a wildfire in the south than the millions of oppressed and poor people living among us. There is more shock that we dare to speak our mind, than towards the fact that human lives are wasted in useless wars. Our enemies see them as nothing but assets and in order to win, we must see our troops the same way. But /I/ refuse to.

 

We did not want war, we did not want global domination. Yet for those reasons millions of troops are invading our territories on this moment. I say, let them. No American life will be wasted in this outrageous war, we will not be the responsible ones for our own death. Our surrender does not mean that the enemies are heroic, that they are right. Our surrender means that we can accept defeat, and move on. That we can drop our weapons and hope for the best, because that hope is the very thing that build America to the greatest empire of the world. We as a people, are above petty desperation. Our surrender gives us, what the enemy lacks. Humanity. I anticipate that the surrender of the USAC will result into a forced resignation from the presidency. For the time come, we must endure our occupation. At least our generation and those to come, can proudly say that we were the better ones in perhaps the greatest war ever fought. To all those that were willing to risk their lives for the homeland, I salute you. We the people have had a great run as one of the strongest powers, we the people have a history to be proud of.  Thank you, for your existence. Each and every one of you has made America great,  and I am proud I could be its president. "

 

 

As Congress formalizes the surrender. Media is used to explain all the possibilities under CSA occupation. They are warned about the usage of a false message and propaganda to gain the support of the people of the USAC. The CSA is demonized as an inhuman invader, Australia as a pathetic imperialist. Hateful sentiment towards them was strong, but people understood Underwood. Sometimes it was hard accepting a loss, but it was better than losing many lives over something illegitimate. The war of America wasn't great and heroic, it was a shameful stain on humanity. A stain democracy and diplomatic precedent, could not clean.

The Federal Navy

 

The Federal Navies moves to Vancouver, with the surrender of the USAC it was time for the Invasion force to turn into one of occupation. As agreed previously with the Confederate States of America, Canada would become an Independent Nation state, The Australasian Federation, despite being called 'Pathetic Imperialists' by the USAC President was not going to take any land and intended to organize quick elections for Canada. The elections would run under the previous Canadian Parliamentary System. A few rogue vessels attacked the Naval Forces as they got closer, they were quickly dealt with as the new Lancelots were airdropped onto the Carriers to repel the attackers.

 

 

Sir Rendon Howard would advance a force of the finest Australian Knights to Ottawa, to secure the Canadian Capital. When he reaches there he makes an announcement "It was always the intention of the Australasian Federation to restore Canadian Independence, the Commonwealth of Canada before it fell was truly the real Country dedicated to freedom, equality and peace. Even if you don't feel as if you want to be independent now we are sure you will change your mindset soon enough. The USAC attempted to crash the economy of another nation as an act of childishness when they were excluded from an economic union due to them trying to take charge. They were excluded from the former TRAC alliance for again, trying to take charge of an alliance of nations that are all equal. So I now announce the formation of the Commonwealth of Canada, the Australasian Federations Occupation will end in one year, the first troops are expected to pull out within one month being replaced with the Royal Army of Canada. Elections will be organized within two months, on my honour as a Knight I don't lie to you people of Canada, who have been friends of Australia, New Zealand and many nations under the commonwealth since the second world war. Don't believe the media of the USAC, a nation known for deception, bureaucracy and catering for those who are wealthy. The USAC conducted an illegal war against Canada to conquer, the same sort of war they are claiming we are conducting, save from the fact we never conquered a sovereign nation." The New Lancelot Mechs are seen across Canada, restoring order, taking down old USAC Flags and putting the flag of Canada up in every settlement they come across.

 

 

The Australasian Federation is quick to contact the CSA, wishing a full inquiry to be launched into the USAC Security Services such as the CIA, NSA and other organisations specializing in hacking. The Federation would like to prove to the world that the USAC has been trying to take funds from Corporations throughout the world and properly paint them as the demons they were. After the announcement it is expected no insurgencies are to rise, considering the announcement of occupation made several promises and the USAC's Military in the area disarming and surrendering. The Soldiers not native to Canada, being sent back into occupied USAC territory. 

 

In the Federation

 

The USAC Surrender was well received in all territories of the Federation, for a long time the Americans from the former USA were considered dull, idiotic and having a crazed control policy on all nations despite being ignorant of cultural customs and even world leaders, as seen in the hilarious video in the early 2000's where an Australian claimed to be Prime Minister John Howard fooling many US Citizens. The Re-founding of the Canadian Commonwealth was particularly well received as the Canadians have been seen as allies since the second world war.

 

The Gold reserves in the Australasian Federations treasury were overflowing, having been hoarding gold for decades it can be presumed the Country had the largest gold reserve in the world. Being the worlds biggest gold producer, it can be assumed along with hoarding the gold, the prices would have gone up to the point any gold that they were selling was at a high price and large profit for the nation. Now that the war in the Americas was seemingly coming to a conclusion it was time to start the rebuilding process, with the Federation being able to assist the CSA in becoming the most powerful Nation in the Americas and possibly forming a new Economic and Military Alliance.

 

Space 

 

Sydney Station is now defended by Sabre Starfighters, the Californian lease on the Dry Docks on the Station expires and a new one is offered to the CSA as the Californian Dominion is no longer fully independent. The Station is well defended, with two Federation Flagships defending it as none of them have moved too far from the station. 

 

Research and Development 

 

The RAY Project, finally completed the RAY Project, the first third generation Mech. The first units go into production immediately two hundred are planned as they will join the Navy, rather than act on the ground most of the time.

The People's Republic of Indochina

 

The rise of fascist, aristocratic and monarchist powers did not go unnoticed to the nations left in the shadows of rising powers. The fall of the USAC and the rising might of its Asian neighbors made the Indochinese people realize that democracy is not a good political ideology. It has proven to fail, Indochina could never fail.

 

Indochina remained silent for a long while as the Asian hemisphere fought against the west. But their silence did not mean disapproval. The State had industrialized and tried to be a prominent exporter in various markets within Asia and the west. The world is unstable and fragile, Indochina felt intimidated by all the surrounding catastrophe. Perhaps that intimidation caused for a very radical change within Indochina. As the elections drew near, the Communist Party of Indochina (CPI) suddenly surged in popularity throughout the confederation. For the first time, nations besides Vietnam preferred Communism over their Democratic system. The CPI chairman, Nguyen Tan Dung, had humble but hopeful promises for Indochina. A strong economy, military and tight collaboration with other Asian counterparts. And as anticipated, the humble promises of the chairman made him to be the new Prime-Minister of Indochina.

 

 

Nguyen Tang Dun immediately nationalized the industry of Indochina with its respective resources. Taxes were lowered and Education, healthcare and housing became free. The government made a census of the population and distributed those unemployed to jobs within the industry and administration of the country. Commercial TV was disbanded and replaced with State TV. The entirety of Indochina was now communist, but the system had to be functioning for longer in order to reap all benefits.

 

 

Following the national elections, people from each respective nation within the Confederation voted for various parties that wished to represent the country within the Indochinese Political Presidium, where the representation of the people remained intact. It was similar to US Congress, but more efficient. Various ethnic groups that seek either a Pacifist, Militarist, Socialist, Fascist, Industrialist, Ecologist or Imperialist Indochina were voted in.  A week later, the first Presidium Congress was held in Vietnam.

 

At the first annual Congress, the Prime Minister spoke:

 

 

"Welcome comrades, to the first annual Congress of the Political Presidium.

 

Every individual within this room is carrying perhaps the greatest responsibility for our country, that being the representative of those that chose you to alter the destiny of our country for the years to come. To see my brothers and sisters of various beliefs and origins united as a collective, holding the flag of our great nation aloft as one, is a sight that I could only dream of seeing.

 

Many have asked me before I ascended upon these steps to speak to you, why I wasn't in a happy mood like many of my comrades here today. My answer was simple, how could I be happy? In the course of several years, we have witnessed the death of millions and the fall of great nations that contributed to the world, even from the opposing end of the table. Not a day will pass when the world will forget the genocide of the global community, diplomacy and harmony. Only the Asian continent, although stricken by the despair western imperialism, stands as a proud bastion of freedom and prosperity.

 

We are the world's people, different and yet the same. We believe, in a dream. A dream that the millions of voices within Indochina and the world can be equal and cared upon. That they and their governments can work in harmony to make a better world, not a better weapon.  You have chosen me as a Chairman, because I stand behind this dream. I do not believe that those that failed, the Soviet and Sino predecessors, should forever taint a true ideology. We have a made choice to be who we want to be, we have chosen for the red flag. The people of every country has the right of choice, whatever the ideology. Although the people in countries like China and India managed to chose freely, countries like the USAC and the Caliphate were attacked for their choice. To live in a reality where a country has no right to chose its own ways within its borders, is a sad reality to live in. That my people, is why I am not happy about the world we reside in today.

 

At this very moment, our Asian brothers fall breathless on the coasts of the American continent. Those who wish to worship the Islam, attacked on five fronts. We will do our best to help those in the noble cause to protect their free will as best as we can, but we will use our fortunate state of tranquility to prosper and grow. Our existence, is a privilege, one we should and will not waste. Hand in hand with the Monarchs, presidents and chairmen representing the people of the continent, we will set the precedent of doing what is right. And doing what is right, is my sole intention as your newly elected Chairman. Glory to Asia, Glory to Indochina!"

 

 

With the statement made, Indochina joins the Pacific-Central Alliance. To maintain a proper contribution as a member, heavy reforms are made within the military. Compulsory service is implemented, the military becomes multifunctional and excessive recruitment is being done. Defense Minister Phùng Quang Thanh requests funding from the Alliance to have the ability for larger commissions of military assets and naval research. Blueprints are also requested. The current standing military was 1,500,000.

 

 

A new submarine is brought under development that would grant naval superiority to the Indochinese navy. The stealth submarine would be able to sink to lower depths, be quicker and have effective weaponry on board.  Intelligent torpedo's with radar and thermal sensor deception would eventually make them accurate and lethal weapons. The construction of the submarine would be slightly different as well. As each section would be spread in tinier chambers. If something would penetrate the submarines, there would be a chance that only a minor part of it would be filled with water. Many bypass routes to the essential chambers within the Submarine would be made as well, so that it could remain fully operational even while having damage. {{15}}

 

 

Indochina was a godless state, but tolerated the many cultural religions present. The Chairman did not feel comfortable with western religious spreading its influence in the nation though, which is why he deported all foreign Christian preachers immediately.  The Christian faith is preserved however, but was in heavy decline either way. Education is reformed to make the individual a larger contribution to the state, instead of teaching them to be a contribution to themselves. This change of mentality would create an even stronger union in the future. Indochinese culture remains prominent and untouched though.

The offensive in California goes relatively poorly for the invading Asian Empires, their push in San Francisco succumbing to such furious fighting on the end of the insurgency. What the Chinese fail to recognize is that nearly every Californian system has been both brainwashed and trained to fight to the death for their leader, Arnold Schwarzenegger. As they push further into urban San Francisco and off the coast, the casualties pile up and their supply chains are under immense pressure.

In San Diego, the story is similar. As the Chinese/Japanese forces push, they are tossed back toward the coast as troops surge against their forces. Not only that, but troops returning from the previously occupied Mexico come up from the Southern borders, adding an extra 1,000,000 trained regular forces, as well as armor and artillery, to the defensive lines in San Diego.

Besides that, new rail gun emplacements are erected 50km from the coastline in highly defensive positions, as strategic infrastructure is repaired in some capacity, AA goes up around these positions. The invading Chinese navy sitting in San Diego harbor is decimated by the revived rail gun emplacements, trapping the troops left on the shores of San Diego and the surrounding area.
