King Viktor Carrion was happy. The Dwarves had been repelled back to their puny underground bunker. The Bolbecs, who had declared a rebellion directly against Viktor's regime, had seemingly disappeared back into the woodworks from whence they came. Peace had been restored. A good King, he was.

Smiling the Sun's Smile, he rummaged through his liquor cabinet to fill up his flask. A daily routine that had kept Viktor Carrion a happy Raevir with goals. A proper ruler should always be well lubricated.

He walked out of his modest home in Leuvaarden. The sun had been up for a few hours - Viktor had been sipping his flask and farming for a few more. Dirty and sweaty, he stopped to take a break. Breathing in the fresh air, he strolled happily while whistling a merry Raevir folk tune.

Viktor paused. For once, the liquor had gotten to him. His step was off-beat, and the world around him was starting to spin. Viktor sat down by the waterfront, attempting to shake off this long-forgotten feeling of intoxication. By now, Viktor thought himself impervious to alcohol.

His breathing slowed. He began to shiver. Vomit everywhere. Viktor passed out and would never awake again. Betrayed by the elixir that had given him life and stability over these many years.

Alas, such was the fate of King Viktor Carrion, Duke of Duck, Theological King of Oren, Marshall King of Oren, Last Raevir. May the Creator watch over his soul.

Viktor came back to Athera when there was no King. He declared himself interim King at the time, in order to lead the troops in battle. Even after Olivier was declared King, people kept responding to Viktor's orders and commands. He never knew he wasn't King of Oren. The Bolbecs even declared rebellion against him. It was fun but I got bored of this moron. Finally, the Raevir are truly gone with the death of Viktor, the last Raevir.

Cantonus finds Viktor's body, falling to his knees besides his body. He shakes his head in denial, recalling the famous quote said by King Viktor before his death.

"A King may move a man, a father may claim a son, but remember that even when those who move you be Kings, or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus." Or that, "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that."

He then goes to tell his fellow comrades of the tragedy.

For God's sake, let us sit upon the ground
And tell sad stories of the death of kings!
How some have been deposed, some slain in war,
Some haunted by the ghosts they have deposed,
Some poisoned by their wives, some sleeping killed—
All murdered; for within the hollow crown
That rounds the mortal temples of a king
Keeps Death his court, and there the antic sits,
Scoffing his state and grinning at his pomp,
Allowing him a breath, a little scene,
To monarchize, be feared, and kill with looks,
Infusing him with self and vain conceit,
As if this flesh which walls about our life
Were brass impregnable; and humored thus,
Comes at the last and with a little pin
Bores through his castle wall, and—farewell, king!

Asgoslav was tending to his house when he heard the news of Viktor Carrion's Death. He gazed up from the pan he was cleaning with a rag over a pot of water, sweat dripping from his brow. He heard a high pitched voice, that over a mere raevir lad.

"The Last Raevir is dead! Viktor Carrion is no more!" he said, and Asgoslav, sat back in shock, the water inside his pan falling into his lap, making it look like he had soiled himself in shock. The old miner got back up, a tear dripping from his eye.

"What a sad, sad day. Niet raevir was more well known and prominent in this day in age, da?" Asgoslav says to himself, before spontaneously coughing violently, a drop of blood on the hand he covered his mouth with.

The days spent mining coal had finally caught up to him, and his time was short. He thought of his Grandson, Janos I Hunyadi, and how his father had died in the midst of battle, and decided that it was time for his kin to live in splendor.

Asgoslav picked up his pickaxe, going to the cloud temple mines to secure his grandson's comfort after he passes.

Avgust Steelwall senses a disturbance in the force but shakes it off. Somewhere he sits on a tropical island with a large skull formation etched into a cliff, sipping from a coconut. "Da, peace at last."

Karl Barbanov will be a Raevir, whether to spite Licia or carry on the legacy of Viktor Carrion, the world may never know.
