Nobody asked or wanted this

Staff does it anyway

Everyone rages, staff deletes comments, statuses and posts

Staff then issues an apology, then.. does it anyway?

Disrupting a group of 10-30 active people is just silly. It was one thing to move around Kha when they actually died but seriously?

Garbage communication skills is all I can say.

If you're forcing us to join a nation then at least do us the damn courtesy of world editing everything to a location of our choice, which would be somewhere in the Caliphate. The Caliphate and halflings are friendly, and it makes absolutely NO RP SENSE for the halflings to join a constantly warring nation, such as Oren.

The halfling player base was lied to either four or five times by the staff during this whole crisis. I believe all staff involved owe the halflings a personal apology as well.

This seems really silly. At least y'all tried, Matt and Urasept. At least I can give y'all some rep for trying to do the right thing :/

No GM has the balls or the integrity to go face to face with the halflings in the village right now. They have been accepted onto the server only a couple of weeks ago. They don't have skype or go on the forums. I want one GM to have the balls and integrity and speak to them to explain why their stuff is all getting destroyed and their friends torn apart - see then if a single GM thinks this is a good idea.

Honestly, this is disgusting.

You know what though? Maybe halfling players should take this as an opportunity to piggy back off of other players' activities and boost their own. Just being positive.

Err, his decision was to restore the region, is that what you're saying you disagree with? Anywho, staff had come to the decision that halflings will have to move.

Whats the point in doing anything if you are offering to world edit them to whatever nation they become a part of? Just leave them alone and make your event area in one of the other empty spots on the map (basically everywhere).

Where is everyone getting the notion that the land is being taken and given for an event or to some gm? Nobody is getting the land????

Oh, that makes everything ok! Just tear up an entire race and community for the sake of it

The only thing that is going to change anything is if the whole server kicks and screams because the gms made a decision that we don't like, nearly universally. That shouldn't have to be the case.

This is so silly. You know the saying, "If something ain't broken, leave it."???

The staff literally just made one of the most peaceful and chill groups on the server angry.

I can already see certain outspoken Halfing members ending up getting banned for this because they seem to have no intention of going down without a fight. And then what do you get? You get some banned Hafling players, already a minus to their activity. Then you get disgruntled Halfing players who become less inclined to play and soon enough you have a completely dead race. What the Staff just did was probably the most imature, useless and quiet frankly stupid change I have ever seen them make. They literally had no reason to go off and piss this group off. And they knew the Halfings would be mad. What normal person would expect them to accept this notion happily?

Really silly behavior from the staff. Wonder why they even spent time making that Mission Statement if they did not intend to follow it.
