Vhorr'kalan's fingers curl slightly, his hands elevating from the arms of his throne.

"How bizarre. Acolyte, is it only I who remains confused by the customs of our allies?"

A figure clad in black shrugged, not responding. And so the Lord waited, visage glaring into the ruined walls.

Lucia de Bar clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth before going to shake her head at the sudden news, "Poor Empress Adelheid, all alone now! I wonder what she will do now without her husband."  She'd pause for a brief moment to realize she no longer had a reason to dwell within the palace without the Empress, "Ohweeeell. Wasn't a very pleasant place, anywhos." Without wasting another moment pondering on such thoughts, she'd then go to find 'Richie' to pester him once again.

(smh the power over the church is real)

"How might one dissolve a marriage?", asks Jan to perhaps the wall. He seems thoroughly revolted! "The LORD doth forbid divorce!", exclaims he - taken aback in a fit of disgusted passion.

"The Pontiff is the Vicar of GOD. He fulfills GOD's will," replies Britannus.

The outraged man simply mutters something in complaint about the pontificacy, before going about his heterodox business.

"Neither have you. Yet suprisingly, the Church can change! Muy loco." Exclaims Fernando.

((Enough OOC. This issue was already brought to the GMs, and has no place on this thread. Do not stir more OOC shitstorms.))

Sitting in his office reading the paper.. "It seems the Church has lost its mind dissolving a marriage? Divorce has never been part of the Church."

"Didn't Darfrey annul a Chivay marriage? Seems like divorce has always been apart of the Church."

Everard grumbles, hearing of the apparent controversies via a horde of complaints sent by Raven.

"I suppose the nobility does care about GOD and his clergymen when their precarious power is on the line, and I suppose an Imperial Traditionalist knows more about the faith then the faithful themselves," he snorts sarcastically.
