The First Inquisition
The Destruction of the Alsascian Cult

The realm of GOD's children is once again plagued with dark terror. For years a cult has schemed our demise, no doubt a collection of Iblees worshipers whose dark purpose is unknown. What is known, is that they are a threat to every GOD-fearing and good person of our Empire and the Empire's brother nations.

The cult, first discovered in Alsace, Istria and again in Crestholm, Avar has been ousted from both locations, but it is the belief of the Church and the Emperor that they are far from decimation. However, we can not be certain where they are hiding, or how they will act next.

Therefore, with the blessing of His Imperial Majesty, John II, we of the Church do declare inquisition. This inquisition shall continue till such a time that we can be certain of the absolute decimation of this cult which threatens the way we live and our very lives.

We expect, and hope to see full cooperation from individual Lords in apprehending and eliminating the cult, and do swear to not infringe upon their Lordly rights. We also hope the same from the common folk, and ask that if any have any information on cultist activity they inform their local clergymen.

Tobias sighs at the thought of the evil that goes through people's heads. before he writes an offical papal statement, it is small, and to the point. 

 

"We hope that during this inquisition two things can happen. One, that all heresy and dark values will be found and crushed with the heads of their beliefs swiftly tried and executed, and two that some of the cultists will see GOD's truth. In the mean time all faithful who can take arms are requested to speak with their local clergy about joining in the inquisition to fight the terrible heretics who plague our great race, and potentially all of the other races.
