Relevant Resources:

Every good adventurer requires a good map! One that details routes, borders, cities and nations that they may pass through, so I have set out to create such a resource. This map is no ordinary map, its layers can be controlled to reveal more or less.

So get yours today:

Backup Version with all the layers:

Minor errors:

Lin'sulan, not Lip'sulan

Silver State of Haelun'or, not Sohaerate... IDK why people call it a Sohaerate.

Haelun'or's boarders don't work that way.

Oren isn't that big. It only controls the Holy Lands and Eroch in the south, and it doesn't control the top of the world.

Ah sorry, I've made the amendments that I can, but could you elaborate on how Haelunor's borders do work?

Ard Ghorrock, Riverford, Marbrand and Gotthold still belong to the Orenian Empire in former Vandoria. Neither swore fealty to the Sultan.

Something like that. Unsure about the northern parts of the mountains in Vandoria. But the red circle marks places that aren't part of the Sultanate, and are still Orenian / loyalist.

If you're going to have Esterwick, could you add Kaz'ad'Annak on there as well? Coords are x: -2989 z: -701. Should be north some from Esterwick.

Very good only real problem I can see is some of the names are very hard to read.

Some of the nation names trail off into the sea and across some very highlighted channels and inlets... Otherwise, very good map!

Could you put the Holy Lands of Visiga on there? Its all the land above that dotted line. And while you are at it you can add in the Azgahri Warband to the West of Visiga and East of Erochland.

Hey there! Very nice map but I could suggest a few small changes;

The map currently allows users to select and drag the map layers which is a little weird and can ruin the functionality of the site, especially since clicking the map layer toggles too quickly can select the image behind. Personally I would add the following webkit CSS to your images (could all give them the same class then apply CSS to them all at once since they don't have one).

Here's the CSS in question;

  -webkit-user-select: none;
  -moz-user-select: none;
  -ms-user-select: none;
  user-select: none;

  -webkit-user-drag: none;
  -khtml-user-drag: none;
  -moz-user-drag: none;
  -o-user-drag: none;
  user-drag: none;

This prevents users both from accidentally selecting your map (fills the screen with blue and can't be cleared since the image is fullscreen) and also dragging the images by accident.

Secondly, i'd put a box around the map layer toggle for clarity.

Good luck and good work so far!

EDIT: Also, a drop shadow behind the map's text would aid in clarity (or give the text a small border).
