"You thought yourself immune?"

(Kuravost, the Lesser Spirit of Diseased Fauna)

A sweeping blanket of darkness fell upon the desert sands, as a swarm of locusts and plague flies congregated in the sky like a second moon. Suddenly, an arch of rotting flesh and broken bones emerged from beneath the land. The bone construct began to emit a powerful reverberation as a portal formed between it. An overwhelming stench pervaded the air as an apparition came forth from the void.

It was the shadow of an obscurely shaped figure, encompassed in all directions by the same swarm that blotted out the sun above. It spoke out to the crowd, heralding the doom of the Descendants, and revealing its identity as Orgon, the Immortal Spirit.

He addressed the Witch Doctor that had allowed him to grow in power; the Orc, Kharak'Raguk, who had brought him into the world. After speaking of his plot to claim Vailor for his own, he vanished, leaving a lesser Spirit to enact his will.

The festering Spirit of Despair, appearing as a weakened, bird-like creature, extended out its arms. An army of plague-husks emerged behind it, the withered remnants of some Descendants who had been turned into mindless conduits of Orgons powers.

They Attacked.

After the combined effort of Vorgo'Yar and Yuglix'Yar, a final blow was dealt to Kuravost, who dissipated into mist before the pair. The Orcs turned back to their Rex with a scowl, who was being dragged into the city by his apprentice.

He lay in his palace for days, contemplating on the situation that had taken place, and the lives that had been lost to this terrible power. He lay there still today, his gazed fixed on nothing in particular as his mind scrambled to find an answer, and a resolution.

Orgon had materialised into Vailor, and his intentions were clear.

Thain would clean her blade, sighing, and then checking if the remaining Suticans were alright. She was content, seeing as most of them were unharmed, suprisingly.

"Gee, who would have thought spending all your time trying to summon AN EVIL SPIRIT OF DISEASE AND CORRUPTION could have some possible blowback? I, for one, saw nothing wrong with this." Says Brandon

Vorgo'Yar would snarl and rip the attained newsletter with rage "Zkahyn pinkehz inzult da Zpiritz, ihd zeemz dey neebd ah hozh flahttin. Dey zhuld bi rezpektin uz fur diz." the pieces of paper would float down with a heavy foot stomping upon it until it sank into the dirt.

Kulgarok takes a deep breath, the scent of desert sand lost underneath the bloodshed and decay. Orgon, a NEUTRAL spirit,  had betrayed them.  He stands atop the upper part of the Uzg, rattling and shaking as he taps his staff across the top.

"Darhk Dayz."

The magical barrier that prevented the Sutican's from assisting the Orcs as they fought the Husks finally shattered as the spirit boasted loudly to the black skies.

Iron was draw and spells prepared, but now their enemy's numbers multiplied.

No longer was it the Husk-creatures, but fallen Orcs now raised up and spewed bile as they picked up their weapons and advanced on their former allies.

Shouts from clans member to former 'bruddas' skipped across the sand, but the only reply was the cold taste of iron cleaving into Orcish hide.

The clash of weapons, the groans of the fallen, the writhing of those infested on the dusty sands.

Chaotic light being flung from her hand towards a bile-spewing troll as it lumbered towards a young man.

A back pressed against one's own wielding a brilliant sword, their combined Light shining like a beacon in Orgon's darkness.

"We need to get out of here!"

A grunt from the side, a giant axe coming towards her head.

Her outstretched hand shining brightly, creating a barrier to hold against the assault. Sparks emanating from the impact point as both sides tried to overpower.

Will and Determination vs Strength and Apathy

The eyes of Rex Kharak'Raguk forcing his axe against the barrier, staring deep into one with such...emptiness.

No regret, no sorrow, no torment....no emotion, no spark of life, no soul.....empty black eyes.

Golden eyes flash brightly as the barrier held against the attack, the infested Rex falling to her feet.

A crash and scream bursts out yards away as a portal collapses, kicking up a storm of dust. As quickly as they came, the creatures vanished.

Orcs, fallen and infested alike, began to rise up as if nothing had happened while the Rex sat up, staring off into space as if searching for an answer to a question he repeatedly asked himself.

As the sands of the Uzg faded away, the rocking of the ship upon the sea's waves would soothe her to rest her head on a shoulder and sleep.

But only for those dark empty eyes to chase her in her dreams and wake her in the middle of the night.

Drenched in a cold sweat, she'd sit looking into the darkened room as her partner slept, unbeknownst, next to her, soundlessly.

Sitting there like Rex Kharak'Raguk once sat, staring into the darkness of the night for an answer to a question.

Gargrun`Gorkil proudly states "Mi hurtz dah burdi 'azh wid ah bub'hozh halburd hit.", smiling a very toothy grin afterwards, and making a notion towards the slightly damaged halberd present upon his back, the ferrum gleaming in the hot desert sun.

Yug would sigh, petting his Lur wolf and finding it ludicrous how such a sweet and loyal creature could have been corrupted; But he had seen it. He pondered the things he had seen when he and Vorgo had finished off the spirit's manifestation. He took note to make sure Vorgo hadn't been affected by the tainted mist.
