Woe is the state of which the lands and forests of my kindred home lays in. It’s harsh rock faces, deep sea, dense forest, and cold interior but lost. The home of my kin, my children, my people, and I stripped from us without remorse.

Woe is the state of which the peoples of my kindred home find themselves. Brothers, Sisters, Sons and Daughters, Mothers and Fathers all but taken from their steads and tossed to the wilds. No blade left standing to hold them near and protect them from the others.

Woe is the state of which the Nations who pledged themselves in the retaking of our kindred home. For not but a day after the agreement was met with the grand Nations of the world of men, did the men of Mardon seek to claim my peoples home for themselves against the judgements of the combined Nations. The once proud Kingdom in the West does see this act and denounces it. To those men of Mardon who see themselves as the sole rulers of the West and all her peoples and bounties, the rightful Queen does hereby condemn. For it was in the council of the Kings of the realms of men, that did see it fit for the Queen of the Westerlands to sit upon her throne once more, when the unholy and rotted were purged from it.

Thus I, Ericka Yar, rightful Queen of the Westerlands, Duchess of Bombay, and Arch Seraph of the Holy Order of the Seraphim, do claim my rightful title. With the support of the Kingdoms of Men do I stand and say nay to those who would trick and deceive my people from their rightful home. For it is I who is recognised as the true Queen of the Westerlands, and not the men of Mardon.

Thus it is I, who shall hold the Westerlands, the support of the Kingdoms of Men, and the crown of my ancestors, and not the men of Mardon.

Signed,

Ericka Yar,

Rightful Queen of the Westerlands, Duchess of Bombay,

Arch Seraph of the Holy Order of the Seraphim

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, Joseph Alexander Staunton,

King of Courland, Hanseti, Ruska, Duke of Eastbourne, Courland, Eruthos, the Heartlands, Frederica, Cascadia, Count of Aleksandria, Riga, Westmark, Beauclair, Sundholt, Wett and Eastmark, Lord of Mt. St. Tobias, the Rightful Protector of the Heartlanders and the Highlanders

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, Odo I d’Amaury, King Regent of Lotharingia, Prince of Savoy and Metz, Archduke of Lorraine, Margrave of Kaedrin, Count of Amaury, Lord of the Goldfields, Defender of the Heartlanders and Warden of the South

*James wonders to himself who these men in Mardon who want to rule the Westerlands are, since none have claimed any title over the temporarily fallen Kingdom.

He'd also wonder who Ericka Yar is, and why her Duchy "Bombay" had not existed a Saints Day ago.*

((Side Note: Bombay sounds like a freaking Gungan City. That being said... Meesa no reconizez nu Queen, sheesa Bombad leedah))

"Long may she reign." Karyssmov Faroe murmurs in support of her claim.

Owyn Amador sits in his Estate as receives word of this newly appointed Queen. He wonders what she meant by the Men of Mardon, as he, nor any other lord he knows is claiming said Kingdom. He gives a simple shrug, not caring for a Queen of a land filled with Undead.

Tajo would sigh as he heard the news, a deep frown would set upon his face as he spoke "Bastion is not fer the likes of humans anymore, they shall let nature reclaim it 'nd the watcher protect it. . ."

"A Queen must look after her people, especially a relative of previous monarchs or ex-soldiers who fought for their country with all they had, not try to have them killed as she did me in the streets of Metz. The rightful Queen is a false title for Caius' children live and breath but also her own sons, the true heirs of Rakim. None of her claims have any legitimacy." Remarks an indignant Adrian Rothesay on the topic of Ericka Yar.

Ericka gave a smile as the decree was sent out, her eldest son at just age nine already asleep. She'd be content with the declaration, knowing her son would take the throne once he had come of age.

Reimond Walden sits in a tavern in Istria, hearing the news shaking his head. "How will you rule the West without the fortress that is Bastion? How will you defend Axios that is Mordring?  I wish you luck, but I don't believe claiming to be the rightful ruler of the Westerlands will work for you."

"A false claim to a title that carries with it the land currently infested by undead? Seems you'd be the Queen of nothing... now were you to fight the undead perhaps your claims would actually hold some actual worth." Eirik Colborn says with a shake of his head tired of the nobile doings.

Humphrey Tullas frowns.

"I did not recall this ever passing the eyes of the Lotharingian Privy. Did we sign this?"

Charles Horen blankly, from wherever that he may be, pans a vision 'cross the decree: "Interesting stuff, although shouldn't it have gone to Caius' children? No? Then his father Leopold, perhaps? If without a trace, then the rightful claim to the West is mine, as his first and eldest cousin. Unsure what these Yar folk are up to. Seems like classic snakery if we're talking about a game of claims." He says aloud to himself!
