A Proclamation of Empire

A Declaration to All Men

For too long have the sons of Horen taken arms against each other. For too long has the blood of youthful boys stained the ground, from the snowy tundra of Ruska to the grassy meadows of Lotharingia. Since the fall of the Imperium Quintus, there have been those who would set us against one another, and so we took up arms to defend our way of life against these barbaric marauders, these heathens. Yet, in our desperate attempt to protect Humanity, we failed to recognize the true threat: disunity.

Our forefathers fought and shed their blood to set aside the disunity caused by the Dukes’ War. Indeed, unification healed old wounds that had been opened in bloody civil conflict; have we learned nothing? Disunity allowed for the Staunton parasite to be a menace upon this realm. Disunity allowed for the rise of dwarven supremacy and the diminishment of Humanity. No longer, we say! No longer shall we allow ourselves to be oppressed by the halfmen or the pagan Horde. No longer shall the mother Church weep over the state of its children. No longer shall the wounds of disunification keep us sons of Horen from taking our true place in this world.

The time has come for us to set aside our petty squabbles, and instead to focus on securing a brighter future for posterity. We must recall the examples of Exalted Godfrey and Exalted Sigismund, who crafted righteous Empires from the disparate human Kingdoms. We also recall the blessings the Creator poured forth on Exalted Godfrey, and pray too that He may bless us in our endeavours.

Therefore, in order to ensure the endurance of Mankind’s legacy in this realm, We, the Kings of Humanity, declare the formation of the sixth great Empire of Man.

May GOD be with us.

Signed,

HIS MAJESTY, Stephen I of Ruska, Grand Prince of the Raev, Duke of Akovia, Krajia, Greymarsh and Alban, Margrave of Vanderfell and Adria, Count of Siegrad, Werdenburg, Kavat, Karovia, Torun, Owynswood and Kaunas, Baron of Vsenk and Wyrmwood, Defender of the Faith, Lord of St. Karlsburg, Protector of the Highlanders.

HIS MAJESTY, Hughes I Pierre d’Amaury, King of Lotharingia, King of Kaedrin, Prince of Savoy and Metz, Archduke of Lorraine, Count of Amaury, Lord of the Goldfields, Defender of the Heartlanders and Warden of the South

HIS MAJESTY, Peter Sigismund of House Horen, Forever August, King of Mardon and the Westerlands, Duke of Blackmarsh and Marna, Count of Lorath, Cantal, Baron of Darkwood and Gravel Hold

THE RIGHT HONORABLE, Deano of House Romstun, Count of Skravia
