You're always into things before they get cool.

As much as I'd like to vote against, my redneck instincts tell me to vote for it. Hmmm....

It's time we get off our Wii-Pods and go outside and play...

Wait are they gonna send something to me if I put in my address? <_<

I mean I want to sign it. but I don't want my gramma's address available on the web!

I do not believe so. Your address is primarily to prove you are a US Citizen or live within the US, as they sort information using it & other information to remove false comments. At the end of the day it's up to you if you wish to let the FCC know your thoughts but it's up to you to decide if you want to send it or not.

This goes far beyond concepts such as "go out and play". Acts were passed lately that allow ISPs to sell your individual data, such as sites you browse (all of them, your entire browsing history :^)), your PM/DMs, your Skype/Discord information. In the "land of the free" we seem to be awfully less free than we think. Net Neutrality is about Freedom - What do we, as Americans, support?

P.S. I know your comment was probably silly/not serious but I'm responding to it all the same.

....this is why I am glad to be British but it is still a heavily concerning matter as we have many friends and family within the USA who we may only be able to contact through the internet... but may not be able to if this does occur. It is reassuring that LotC is at least making its users aware of said issue as it will effect them greatly if passed.

Godspeed to you all.

My close friend @Niccum has converted me to service of the Kingdom of AnCappyStan, and as such I must vote against regulation of our internet!

'tis a meme i like net neutrality and have already signed a bunch of stuff about it.

If you britbongs don't think idiots in your country that want this won't use what happens here as licenses to go ahead with your plans than you'll going to have moisten your knickers.

There's an irony though in that we have one of the strongest forms of freedom of speech, both in law and in public thought, but we're quite permissive and having what we say spied on.

I used up my rep for today giving it out in this thread, because I'm very glad so many of you are taking this seriously.

This is an important issue, and it's not something you can simply ignore if you're not an American; any service you use that has to deal with an American ISP at any point will be affected negatively. The internet is a broad, international community, but it has a lot of heft in the USA, and all of the companies who are pushing these measures have their influences in more than one continent.

You should all stay vigilant on these attacks by telecomm companies and do everything you can when it's necessary, because they are not going to back down and are hoping they can just wait you and your outrage out. Support and continue to support upholding net neutrality.
