A CALL TO ARMS

Instead of joining the arguing to either avoid war or support war or even sending mental messages to the other wood elves or orcs, Eath'Lur raises his farming hoe and says:

Vagud feels obligated to reply, but really doesn't have anything to say. Instead, he retreats to his garden in hopes that things don't get ugly.

"To Vagud's aid!"

Then he gets ready for war

Valor is out there somewhere, sipping tea. "Did I hear something?" He would shrug. "Must've been my imagination..."

"It seems the twiggies think we just purely want war." He laughs, "The uruks, ologs, and goblins... Plus a couple honoraries just want to raid, pillage, and ransack your towns and villages to avenge the great wargoth, Othmgakh." "Also," he remarks, "You elves already hated the uruks for nothing but how they look and their culture. You probably WANTED them to be your own antoganist, didn't you? Well elves here you have it, the grandist of antoganists for you." Horton grins, satisfied of what he has said.

"You're actually an idiot." Tristin comments offhandedly.

Gurak rests far away, smirking as he hears the news.

Kuntklobbera can only imagine what conniving the former Rex has been doing... and what snake-tongue riddles he's formulating.

"When your culture consists of enslaving their race, why would they not hate you? Orcs raid the wood elven town constantly and a Wargoth was killed as a result. I don't think a leading being killed whilst attempting to raid somewhere is a valid casus beli. Besides where is the Rex, hes not exactly leading his people. Normally if a Rex is unable to lead for some reason, they are replaced." says Felix Fitch.

"I find it strange where characters speak as a mouth-piece of the players so people can stay in line with the skygod rules." Ituri states somehwere. "Miss Cass Bell is only a skygod concept. Realistically, it is only the perception of offense that'd matter in character!"

"I don't like woodies much either but I wouldn't go out of my way too much to get near one. Maybe just go and raid around the edges of the city, y'know, far enough that sky gods don't yell at you about raid rules but close enough that anyone actually passes by and you don't get yelled at by more sky gods about the cart." Elrith shivers as he thinks of ever going near that atrociously built city called Linandria.

((If you're going to delete my comment then give me a reason as for why it was deleted. Stop that, how can I learn from my mistakes if I don't even know what my mistake was... Also, other question is still completely reasonable to ask as I am genuinely interested as to why Orcs need a cassis belli even though their society for 7 years has been literally based off war and combat.

((I'm only going to say it once this thread since multiple people keep doing it, it's clearly stated in the forum rules that posts on roleplay threads should be strictly roleplay and that it has to be IN CHARACTER

You cannot make posts as an anonymous or ambiguous character like Soldier_16 or Man across the street.

tl:dr: There's forum rules, read them.))

Melgarth Taliiyh Torena slowly shakes his head, turning his face towards the ground, before thinking aloud to himself "What happened to the orcs my father told me of? The orcs seemed to have their head in the right place during the end of Vailor, during the blight of Orgon... They had a good rex with a head on his shoulders. Hell, he even converted to spirit worship after that... The hell happened to them?" He'd then continue to go about his business in Linandria, tsking as he does so.

Kalina would overhear talk of this by some roadside travelers. She'd step over and ask them about it before moving to make her way back down the road where she is going.

"Uruks are trying to obtain the right to wage war against the Dominion..."

She'd frown at this thought.
