Eh, **** it. Here we go again.

 

I figured you would use this to fish for casus belli, so I took the liberty of asking Nazdus ahead of time if keeping orcs out of our lands as a preventative measure (given orcs frequently try to raid and enslave us, and therefore expecting that we do nothing about it or receive CB for unprovoked aggression is laughable) was allowed without incurring a CB, and here was a result.

 

 

So, following Nazdus's verdict, any and all orcs we caught in our land we gave multiple opportunity to leave non-violently of their own free will, and only when they refused to do so openly did we resort to force to remove them.

 

Again, this is a response to orcs unprovokedly raiding and slaving on our lands (and dont give me the "it wasn't the same orcs you racist!" that often pervades in the orcs memey RP when they say stuff like 'im going on hunger strike' and 'THIS IS OPPRESSION!!!' and such in RP, they were the same orcs, or at least from the same nation).

 

Hokkaido, the one orc we killed in this case, was killed because for two reasons.

 

1) He refused to leave the city when asked, multiple times.

 

2) He openly attacked Artimec, trying to bite off his nose.

 

There were 3 other orcs there during the scene, but the only one we killed was Hakkaido's, because he was the only one to refuse to leave after being told to do so multiple times (following Nazdus's guidelines) and also he was the only one to openly attack a leader of the city he was in unprovoked.

 

(Oh, as a side note, the orc we killed had, in the past, come into our city and assaulted one of our people, i.e hogo_fox's char. So, even if we had killed him without him attacking first in this particular instance, he was still a criminal in our land and casus belli isnt valid in us detaining him).

This is getting kind of ridiculous, by the way. It's very obvious that you've been trying to openly bait us for a month now, looking for any little reason to war us. You have a clear distaste for me OOCly, because every single forum post you make mentions me specifically (the reparations one demanded my character give yours a footrub, I believe), and its clear you wish to lay me low OOCly, and whatever RP reason you can scrounge up that will give you a CB will work. You have been banned for attacking me in the past and right now you are current banned and blacklisted through a rule you broke as a byproduct of daily raids and general harrassments you do in our lands to be a disruption.

 

Speaking of blacklists, I don't believe you're capable of leading an offensive warclaim while serving one.

 

Once again, I'll need to go to the mods and get this sorted. Apologies to the FMs for any un-necessary drama this causes, but I believe public posts warrant public replies.

Hakkaido's character deciding not to leave peacefully but instead spitefully trying to bite off Artimec's nose before trying to run away.

 

Explain to me how killing a known criminal who has assaulted people on our lands before, is part of a race that frequently raids us, has been asked to leave non-violently multiple times and refused, and has just tried to bite off someone's nose, counts as any form of unprovoked assault which would generate a casus belli for war?
