I, King Abdessamad De Savin, First of his Name, do hereby declare my desire to step down from the throne of Santegia, to be succeeded by my son, Leoiarizaltzu Salbatzaile de Savin, as well as to declare my desire that effect should be given to this Instrument of Abdication immediately.

In light of all that I have ordered, I have signed this document on the 1st of Malin's Welcome, 1629, at the Palace of Veldin, in the eyes of all those who have signed this document.

Signed,

His Majesty, Abdessamad de Savin, King of Santegia, Prince of Evreux, Duke of Savinia, Eastbourne, Courland, Eruthos and Cascadia, Marqués of Seville, Count of Veldin, Moncloa, Aleksandria, Riga, Westmark, Wett and Eastmark, Baron of Curonburg, Lord of Biscay and Mt. St. Tobias, Grand Knight of the Order of the Veldin, Sovereign of the Order of Eminence and the Order of the White Stallion.

His Highness, Leoiaritzaltzu Salbatzaile de Savin, OE, Prince of Santegia and Marqués of Ponzan.

The Most Honourable, Demetrios Palaiologos, OE, Prince of Santegia, Marqués of Valencia, Grand Knight of the Kingdom of Santegia and the Order of the White Stallion.

Klaus I de Savin grins, "Finally. I thank GOD that power is put into hands of someone else. My trecherous uncle reigns no more. Perhaps my kinsman will bring grace back to our name, and restore us to our previous potential, my name shall no longer be looked down upon. Ave de Savin, ave Santegia." he'd exclaim, going back into his cabin somewhere deep in the Northern Forests.

High King Verthaik Frostbeard II would be journeying to Santegia from the North to visit the King, as he would hear a mad man screeching from the Northern woods. Muttering to himself as he goes, he would say,

"King Abdes de Savin is the man who made Santegia what it is today. Without him, it would be an Orenian vassal, or worse, a hilly region doted with the remains of a once proud Kingdom. He who disrespects the name Abdes de Savin can never be a true de Savin or a true Santegian, for how can you respect a creation, but not the creator? Aye, this is a sad day for the Kingdom of Santegia, and I pray to the Brathmordakin that our allies in the human lands will remain stable and strong, and that the new ruler will be at least a fraction of the King that Abdes was. I look foreward to sharing some ale with the ex King and seeing why he stepped down. I'll also be informing him of this banshee that resides in the Northern Forests."

High Prophet Darid Irongrinder would remember a different situation from the after life commenting to his dead son "Huh... Santegia didn't fight for there independence or there wars alone.. Instead OH WAIT... Thats right URGUAN HELPED.... same with six other nations because Santegia was to weak themselves to fight Oren alone. I also remember the Santegian King getting upset because every nation that helped them wanted payment from the treaty with oren and King Abdes declared Urguan screwed him over."
