Well assuming OP isn't just whining about being killed and is actually seeing less than satisfactory rp from these spooks then the person we should be helping is OP by removing the spooks who do poor rp.

You are not getting the point? Helping people who do poor RP is what I currently strive to do. Stop assuming everyone who does poor RP won't be able to correct it. I'm sure you had this problem before like many of us. Nobody here is perfect.. And my quality of roleplay at that moment was not poor

Ah yes, cause killing immortal creatures who come back to life no matter how many times they get killed fixes the problem. Without flat-out harassing spook players to not play them by killing them anytime you see them which is horrible that's not a solution at all.

 

Though in all seriousness I agree. I generally think less played spook races should just start being phased out like the knowledge is lost because it's a nightmare remembering the differences between a Dread Knight, Pale Knight and, Resonate Knight or The differences from a ghoul to Necrolyhte or the newfangled intelligent Necrolytes that are somehow different. I mean I'm only touching on a few of the nearly 20 some types of spooks these days and while they're often times all unique it becomes a problem when all spooks are just spooks in the eyes of the players cause there's soooooo many of types of them. The bottom line in my opinion either spooks should basically become a semi-unified race of sorts that's far more clearly outlined so its easier for non-spook players to understand (Similar to the wonderful page about spectures which is clear and consice) or they should phase out the less played versions to clean up the mountain of lore or the idea of a 'spook' should be killed off as it really doesn't make sense these days when 90% of 'spooks' are so different from what that word originally meant and better groupings should be created.

Perhaps they could reform, so to say, to be able to do decent rp. Though perhaps they shouldn't be able to do so with the privilege of doing magic rp and especially magic that can greatly alter a players character. I'm fairly certain that is why the magic blacklist exists, for those who abuse and misuse magika of the kind they had been permitted to roleplay.

Honestly, you're pretty much just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Sutica is a city founded by clerics of Tahariae and a xionist faction has risen who just have rage boners for anything deific. ITs really just a matter of poor timing on some parts and I won't comment on the 'no magic spooks' policy because some people like mage duels and some don't. What I'm not too keen on is the lack of understanding that spooks aren't really aimed to be one-dimensional skeletor-boys anymore and that's the point of Xionism, Devirad, and what not.

To be fair most of the spooks are decent at fairly rping in combat. If you find yourself getting killed by them more often than you think you should then it honestly needs to be solved in rp like someone else suggested.

As a spook, this is a very debated topic amongst the spooks and it's such a complex thing to talk about that you can't boil it down to a "yes" or "no" type question like this. We're trying our best to curb the amount of spooks we're making (or at least improve the quality). It just takes time, plus holy mages can kill Undead in like one hit anyway and everyone carries their magic golden sword with them so it really isn't even that huge of a problem for the population outside of the spooks

It's in the works, it's hard to take all of spookdom and try to get people to change their RP. I know that I'm personally trying to take on a specific set of ghouls and try to train and mentor them to be proper spooks. People are trying to push for a new wave of communication to try and solve the problem, but like I said it's a tall order to fill. It's not going to happen in the span of a month and if you expect it to then you don't understand the breadth and scope of the problem.

Honestly if it's that bad then maybe OP should have his way. Not in the sense of limiting new spook prospects by rather by cleansing the playerbase of those who are already citizens of the glorious spookdom but also do low quality rp.

I'm sorry i thought this was an rp server not a call pvp every time you get attacked so you can get loot for more pvp :/. Anyway my view on this matter probably won't be counted as much but i like variety and so i like all these different kinds of undead and like the person said before try doing something about it in rp everyone hates undead for the most part so why not raise a undead/necromancer hunting team could be great fun in rp planning and hunting.

Get a guardforce, have them online. Have patrols along your roads to ensure your populace isnt getting jumped. Its a really simple solution.
