The Last Will and Testament of Avalon Silversteed

A Notice Is Posted Around The Realms~

I write in acknowledgement that it is possible my time on this earth is limited. The Godless Norlanders continue to harass, even though they are repeatedly slain at my gates. The undead continue to creep closer to our lands, and Marna is yet to do anything. I have been isolated by a Norland who thinks they are powerful because they kiss the feet of Renatus, the very same who burned our homes, who killed our people in the streets. How can I follow a king who's name is not even rightfully Ruric, to bow to a nation that slaughtered our children in the streets? Jory Ash must be proud to bow to such people, for he never cared much for Norlanders anyway, which explains why so few remain in the fallen lands. Arthas and the boy who claims to be my illegitimate grandson William are no better. Arthas seems just as eager to bow to people who killed his own, makes sense I suppose since he fought on their side, not Norland's. And then there is this boy who claims to be William, but for all I know could be some puppet child created by Jory Ash. Even if this is the real William, it matters not. Only direct bloodline may poses the Silversteed Name, or those I personally give the name to. I gave the name to Atturi, then I took it away from him, for he had made his choice to stay with Norland but at least he was upfront about it. I took his name, and like a real man Atturi accepted this fate, and realized his time as a Silversteed had come to an end. He did not play coy, he accepted the consequences of his choice with honor. Atturi is more of a man than William could ever hope to be. But if this boy really is William, then he should remind himself that he is the son of an adopted son Ethan, who I personally legitimized. But, because William only wants power to be handed to him on a silver spoon, I had to make the horrible decision of stripping Ethan and William of their name Silversteed. William has no right to hold the name, for I have the only right to strip it from him. Even if I should die, once a name is stripped it cannot return unless granted by one of the direct bloodline. William can go make his own house if he so badly desires power. And finally to you Jory Ash, if you do by chance end up reading this, I hope you forever know that you shall be remembered by all the world as the Boy who Bent. You will go down in history as the the boy who claimed to be king, and then bent the knee to the people who slaughtered ours. And you call me oathbreaker. At least I have the balls to spit on Renatus, for I, and all Arborians, would rather die a thousand deaths than destroy all that we stand for. And you call me oathbreaker.

~Below is my last will and testament should I die any form of death.~

I hereby strip all Silversteed's of their name except for myself and my dearest Angelica Silversteed, for she as well as I hold the future of this house together.

___________

I proclaim that Angelica Silversteed, other than myself, is the only other current Silversteed who has the right to name new Silversteeds. No Silversteed, real or legitimate, shall hold this power. Should Jory Ash, who claims himself a Ruric by self legitimization, claim that what I say is void because he calls me a traitor, then he shall be completely undermining a system established by Norland and other human groups for centuries. The founder of a House, or it's current leader, has the right to legitimize or strip people of their name. Should the supposed Leader and the Founder be separate entities, than the Founder's word is final. If this is not true, than it is not possible for Jory to be a Ruric, as he legitimized himself on the basis that he is the acting leader of House Ruric, and the founder is long dead.

___________

All my possessions shall go to Angelica Silversteed, and whomever she names to receive as well.

___________

The Land's formally held by the Kingdom of Arbor, a nation under God recognized by those who wear the Lorraine Cross and the Pope himself, are to go back to being free territory. To hell with you Dominion, despite peaceful talks with you, you also bowed to the pressures of Renatus. A sad thing really, the Dominion used to be something people actually respected, my how far your people have fallen. At least try to hold some dignity.

___________

I hereby release any vow made to me or my family made by a citizen of Arbor. I wish you all the best of luck in your travels, may honor continue to light your way.

__________

Any heir to House Silversteed, should there be one at all, will be named by Angelica Silversteed. If such an heir will ever exist, they shall be the Lord or Lady paramount of the house upon their birth, guided by those loyal to my name. They shall also be heir to the will and people of Arbor, should our people reform.

__________

Those who have been Knighted by me, you know who ye are. You shall retain your Knightship, under God. I hope that ye shall make me proud, for you are the last Knights of Arbor.

__________

Signed~

Avalon Silversteed. Knight of the Realm, Lord Paramount of House Silversteed, first Captain of Silver, Lord of Silverholt, King of Arbor and Protector of the Arborian People.

"I wasn't aware that Kingdoms honored the last will and testaments of traitors and oathbreakers." Thomas said without caring to hear about what his terms were. "I hope a more suitable Lord is put in place of the silversteed family if the house does continue, their last Lord fought like a milk drinker."

Ser Jorvik Ruric sits within his bathroom, reading the new issue of Norland Swimsuit Weekly. After finishing his business, he looks around, realizing that he had forgotten his bathroom tissue! "Damn!" he exclaimed to himself. Jorvik looked around in despair for a brief moment before his eyes fell upon a notice pinned to the wall. With an outstretched arm, he grasped that document and used it to clean himself before pinning it back onto the wall. "I see no difference." he said, comparing the document before and after.

Jorik Ruric stumbles into the bathroom later in the night and quickly he runs into a similar problem that faced his brother. Jorvik had forgotten to fill the depleted bathroom tissue holder. Starting to panic, Jorik quickly looks around the room finding one of the many abandoned copies. Then with a smile, he swiftly cleans his rectum.

Elle Noctuid, resting in her rocking chair after having put Alaric to bed, reads the paper. a scowl appears on her face, annoyed. She looks over at her desk, getting up and retrieving a few documents from it, reading them over thoroughly.

((

"Avalon puppeteered Jevan, perhaps that's why he complained so strongly in life. He could not control Jory the way he controlled Jevan the Ashling. He is the godless man, turning his back on the All-Father... In any case, Avalon was already kicked out of the house, his children are not the heir. William's will be." Her fingers curl into a fist as she turns towards the crib of her young son, as though looking for some unseen threat to his safety, though her expression softens and she goes downstairs. "He speaks of children being slaughtered, but I have no doubt he would have gladly taken the chance to kill my son. He certainly did his best to kill Alaric's father...but as usual, his best was not good enough. Hmm. This implies an heir..." She rubs her mouth with her left hand, a look of remorse.

From her bag, Elle retrieves an arrow, laying it down at Astrid's altar. She murmurs a prayer, as though beginning a conversation between herself and her paragon. She then retrieves a salted mutton, setting that down as offering too. Her voice is strained, though the prayer seems to have lifted some weight from her shoulders. Getting back up, Elle dusts the front of herself off as she leaves the building.

Her expressions hardens, and then turns somber as she sharpens her sword.

"All-Father's will be done."

Arthas would frown reading the missive next to the corpse of the defeated lordling, feces dripping from his pantaloons as he hung from the tree. "A man that whinged about freedom while sending his people to die, he then betrayed everything he had ever stood for in a feeble grasp at power, fellating those he supposedly despised, those who were involved in the crusade. Hypocrisy in its purest form. Beyond that this talk of 'rightful ruric' is laughable in its retardation. A Ruric is any man that can trace his lineage to Thoromir.

"If you're dead, you're no longer the Leader of the House. A bit late to name new heirs, sadly," says Constantine.

Kae would while passing through Arbor see the will commenting that "In your will why did you include a rant about the king? Also don't you need a witness to the signing of the will? Some random indivual could of wrote this.

"I've never heard of this happening in Norland before, the only person I've ever heard of doing this under the All-fathers light is Avalon silversteed... Hell, they didn't even strip Beo Ruric of his name and he is literally the paragon of betrayal, not to mention that Javier Ruric, who you so claim to be the purest of rurics is himself the bastard son of a ruric, and his son Jevan is the bastard son of a bastard son, if anything Jory is more legitimate than almost any Norlander, with the notable exception of possibly uncle Arthas, a direct descendant of Thoromir." Says a small blonde boi.

Ral scratches how a dead man can claim his unborn daughter as heir. Who even knows if the person is female yet. "I'm confused."

Warren would frame a copy of the testament, for "political purposes", and hang it in the cabaret.

Selina Rose Vientos' fingers curl inward to her palm as she reads the missive, her features creased with quiet anger. "There will be no weakness," she says as she rides to Norland.
