THE INTEGRATION OF THE ADRIAN PEOPLE

It is with open arms that I, His Royal Majesty King Marius II of House Barbanov, accept the decision of the Adrian Duma and take on the title of Duke of Adria.  The Dual Monarchy of Hanseti-Ruska is honoured to accept the Adrians into its people, and remember the historic friendship between us as well as the Highlander blood that flows within every Adrian.  As Adria is accepted into the Kingdom, the Dual Monarchy recognizes the people of Adria not as foreign subjects, but as friends and brothers reunited.

 

In order to assist with the integration of the Adrian people into Haense, Lord Edward H. Morris is to be declared the interim Governor and representative of the King of Haense in the Adrian Duma, until such time as the King sees fit to exercise personal control over the Duchy.  With this in mind, the king hopes that such a transition will be done swiftly and without issue.

 

The abdicated Duke Paul of House Varoche will be granted the Palace of Varoche as his seat as Count of Varoche.  As the Duke under whom a clergyman was attacked by an Adrian man, he will take on the debt to the Holy See that the Emperor of Man, His Imperial Majesty Antonius I of House Horen, ordered paid in just recompense.  

 

Let us be guided by the grace and wisdom of GOD to see through trying times. Let us have a renewed hope and spirit. May we come together and embrace on terms of endearment and brotherhood.
