IMPERIUM RENATUM

4th of Horen’s Calling, 1715

 

 

The bells which slowly, mournfully tolled within the walls of Reza rung of naught but rebellion - the placement of a false pretender on the throne, hailing from the lineage of Marna. Such an attempt is a mere mockery of what we once triumphantly named the Empire of Man, for now there is no synergy between Our once loyal peoples; we have been dis-unified and fractured by overly-ambitious men, the same rats who the Line of Pertinax once put an end to in the Coup of Adelburg.

 

We cannot rightfully call ourselves the Empire of Man when Our Realm is in such disarray and when men don arms in misguided rebellion against the Crown. The treacherous Men of Haense and Adria have consistently betrayed the trust of Our Throne, betraying their ancient oaths and dishonouring the laws of this land. Henceforth this Realm shall be known as “Imperium Renatum”, for only the men of Renatus have remained true to this Empire. Moreover in Our Emperor’s absence it is only rightful that another man, from the correct lineage, ascend to the throne and protect this Imperial Realm.

 

Thus, it is acknowledged that Remus of the House of Horen shall ascend to the throne of Man and adopt the regal name of Godfrey; henceforth Our Imperial Majesty will be titled as such:

• In one Saint’s Day the coronation of Our Imperial Majesty shall commence in the Palace of Helena. ((3est 11th May))
