Tobias tutting as  he reads the small article about him or his children, yet again that is, would let out a quite a grumble towards any who would listen. "When will these teens of the Empire realize to have the smallest bit of remorse towards those around them. Continuing to yap away after they intrude upon my daughters moment of proposal. They couldn't even give her the slightest bit of time to wrap up her moment, before the princess and her entourage continued" he says with a sigh "-even when I begged them not-" he says folding the paper angrily, "To yap away during my sweet daughters moment. It is a shame that in the eyes of foreign nations we could not even respect those who hail from our own. Perhaps we should look inwards into regarding our fellow denizens, constituents for some, in regards to respect and mannerism no matter the occasion." he says with a final grunt as he places the paper on his side.

Diana d’Azor would read the missive in the mass busyness in the tavern with a beaming look. “Now this is what gossip should be! Oh how lovely this is! And this new bill? How woman-empowering!”

"Anton. ." Grumbled a young woman with a pointed grunt.

Pure excitement flooded the Lovestruck girl as she scanned over the contents of the gossip. Once more mentions of her and her crush were brought up! The young d'Azor grabbed a pair of scissors and moved to briskly cut out the mention of such, her lips spread wide in a breathtaking smile. She was lost to the beauty of love. And her feelings were being returned. The Lady found herself hiding the gossip away in her desk and plopping back in bed. She felt like a young girl again, her heart flying away.

A certain bold speaking Ruthern would sign the Lorraine and send prayers to her cousins, Juliya Basrid, Darius Basrid, and John d’Arkent for luck away from drama, then prayers to her good friends Helena Rochefort and Edwin de Sarkozy, safety from the drama and gossip.

Princess Amadea had her daughter, the Princess Amelia, bring in the second gossip paper of the evening. Waving the girl off, she poured over the latest publication . "Another one... oh, I hope it's interest- ACHOO!" She let out yet another loud sneeze, reaching for her handkerchief.

"LEOPOLDINE! FETCH ME MORE TISSUES!"

Sharing a drink with the future heir to Susa, the Viscount Pruvia scoffs at such a tabloid. Sending a waft of smoke in the way of Darius, the aging man points his finger towards the paper, specifically upon the article focusing upon his daughter.

"This is full of nonsense, I'm sure this paper serves better as an ash tray. Bah, it was probably written by a woman, after all." Remarked Simon.

Helena Charlotte regarded the missive with some distaste, her head simply shook as she dispatched that tabloid unto the table of other papers she paid little mind to "Such is truly a shame, I held these young writers in such high regards - yet it seems they have befallen the usual courtly antics of neglecting the sacrifice that most do offer. Both hosting an evening of grandeur during the Rochefort Crescent's opening and drawing a bolt to the chest to protect two beloved individuals of our Empire. No, they simply must wittle on about fabric - how unfortunate." Helena tutted gently, offering this commentary unto Adrian and Siss'sira [ @Junoix @MrChenn]

The Lady Elverhilin nodded at Lady Helena's commentary, still looking just as bewildered as she was when she read A Failure of a Ball. "I'll never understand this human gossip...and you really should stay in bed! A bolt to the chest.." Siss'sira continued to dote over the Rochefort girl, and question her about the new courtship! @TheIchorDruid @MrChenn

The young girl known as Kylah Anastasia Armas grinned, having even more things to read, oh my! "I can't wait until I get to do this stuff..."

Octavia sat by the fireplace as she read the paper. "It was quite an eventful ball indeed..." The girl would shake her head once she read her name. "It was empty at first yet a whole group had to show up... I can see why my father was angered." The Sarkozy girl would fold the paper, setting it aside as she started to write a letter.

Claude writes her apologies to her dearest cousin upon materializing the oversight of the events she'd been unable to attend, her nerves remaining frayed after an evening spent rushing to finalize the papers with many people informing her- singularly -about the ongoing gala's events.

"The youth of the nation, such a waste of talent.

They should use their energy for better gifts than writing such tripe about their betters.

It is a fine thing than, I do not attend these events. "

Minuvas again sighs, placing the paper next to the toilets for use as toosh paper

Wilhelm reads over the article from his bed, letting out a heavy sigh and tossing it aside with some annoyance.

"What I find most disturbing is not any of the gossip, but this talk of the Rosemoor Bill. Theos forbid that we are made subject to the rule of these hens, whose focus would most certainly be on frivolities such as this, scandal and gossip mongering, rather than rightly-guided governance." Cutting through the air with a wave of his hand, the Rhenyari met the mouthpiece of a hookah to take a long-drawn drag from the pipe. Smoke spilled past the man's lips, billowing out in an wispy cloud. "I fear we're being steered towards trying times."
