A Response From Rozania

Christianity in the Middle Ages - Wikipedia
[!] A depiction of heterosexual, non-interbreeding Rozanian citizens studying Canonist scrolls and praying

Alas, we even with a gradual conversion, we find ourselves under fire from groups of evil men donning the clerical robes. It is those evil men that halt the progress of Canonism, for they know no patience, virtue or forgiveness. They make claims of heretical deeds, while taking joy in hapless slaughter of innocents. The constant targeting and abuse appears to have the opposite effect- how can men warm up to a faith, when its representatives treat them in such fashion? Conversion requires a gentle approach, and should be gradual process. Mass by mass, prayer by prayer, our people's faith grows.

What Father Paul fails to understand is that many of Rozania's citizens are refugees and misplaced people who up until this moment knew not the word of God. They wish to be enlightened, but in enlightenment's stead, they find insults being hurled like rocks, and conflict being brewed from petty words taken outside of their intended context. We trust that the pontiff, and the several clergymen walking the streets of Rozania show us the righteous path, such as the dear Father Hans who helped us prevent an interracial union, and acolyte Berra who continues to reinforce our faith despite the regular abuse of armoured posses at our gates, who come with weapons drawn. Father Paul is no stranger to such posses, for he tends to oft times tag along with a crossbow in hand, speaking with the tongue of a sailor that even I cannot compete with.

The statements of Father Paul, and the rest of the rabble who chooses to relentless bully our community despite us working towards the same cause, are bred from nothing but ignorance and misunderstandings. They are cherry picked out of context and blown up to gigantic proportions. His words hold as much value as that of a kettle calling the pot black, for I can find more virtue stuck to the sole of my boot than in the heart of Father Paul.

It is my wish that our dear friend Paul spends less time cursing and screaming at our gates like a fussy child demanding a sweet roll, for there is nothing to gain. Just leave us be and let a priest whose IQ reaches double digits and heart contains at least an ounce of sympathy.

Diona Fleurgrass was quick to receive the letter from the courier, and even quicker in penning a letter to the author.

"While we cannot be there physically, my husband and I give you our support. We, too, hold Rozania dear to us, which only strengthened our reason for absense among your people."

A certain Rozanian exile breaths a very heavy sigh. "In the name of GOD, I thought my absence would resolve things back home. Now it appears it is nothing but arguing."

Peralien will gladly give Father Paul a sweet roll spliced with Capsaicin to see how he reacts.

Velulaei'Avern Araaloq, upon reading, Scoffs at the constant bickering between the human race. Handing over the missive to a passer-by. Walking away whilst uttering words behind him. "You look like one to read such pointless poppycock, take it. I'm sure Wyrvun is tired of my sight being wasted on such stupid literature anyway. Perhaps it was even fate you find yourself being offered this text. After all, with that beard you resemble the depiction presented here. So trim your beard. Before you are mistaken as shrubbery of Elvenesse. Or worse yet, an Ologs behind."

Rebeka la Waevra sits in thought reading this, “How are people supposed to want to convert and believe the words of God when threats, insults and harassment is thrown their way? I would say that William is more of a believer and preacher than Father Paul himself.”

An old elf reads the missive in absolute confusion, snorting upon seeing the Chewbacca edit of the father. He shakes his head and throws the paper away, returning forced vacation.

"If only it were not written in white, perhaps I could read it." Muses Theodora Lucille as she flips through the various missives of the day by a warm fireplace. "Alas, I've not the slightest idea what these pagans have written." With that, she'd chuck the paper into the fire, forgotten.

Malakai would be hiding behind some bushes, bird watching. He'd lay down in the grass, taking the folded missive from a pocket inside his jacket. He'd sigh heavily once he read it all, his arms flopping to his sides in the grass. He looked up to the sky with the missive still in hand, and asked in a tiny quiet voice "Why don't you love us? Have we done something wrong? I promise I'll work extra hard to show my love to you!" The small boy laid there, seeming like he was waiting for an answer, but never got one. "I just wish to live in peace..."

“Hm, I heard he was an undead and magically vanished sometimes when our cousins with the Savoyards and Oisin took the capital for some days.” Inquired the Lady de Ravensburg to her brother, Caius de Ravensburg while they both ate breakfast in their small and simple home within Louisville. “Must be some rumors, but could be true considering he practices dark magic of iblees!” The teen concluded after some moments of silence from the both of them.

"Well His Serene Highness told me otherwise, so those rumors must be true" Caius de Ravensburg would state responding to his sister before returning to his book

Watcher Der Ryder nodded slowly reading this, “I don’t know much about religion, and I was never taught. I move to The Duchy of Rozania, and all we get is harassed by Canonists… Doesn’t make me wanna be a Canonist anymore…” he let out a long sigh.
