Charlotte Augusta gave her assent to the invitations as they were passed before her by the Lady Governess and Majordomo. Plans were made, schedules set, and a dress was being tailored, all hurriedly as per the Emperor's command and wishes. However, the Dowager of Dobrov seemed to only focus upon what came after. The children she would become a stepmother to, and the nation that would look to her for guidance in the decades to come. How odd this all was, for a life to be changed by a few simple words, at the whim of a sovereign. She found herself both frightened and excited.

A young Edward Clement would take notice of all the bustling and busy event planners around Aldersberg, all preparing for the wedding! "What is all the fuss about? It is just a wedding." Commented the oblivious youth, glancing down to his sister Georgiana "Though I am excited for Princess Aunt Charlotte's special day and to see her pretty dress, it will be fun!" He spoke to the mere tot. @neii

Maisie smiled briskly before frowning as she remembered how she was suppose to hate Charlotte at the moment. Due to a quick fight they had almost two years before. Still, she would attend the wedding, because she is a sweetheart.

"This is bait. I thought they were talking about Duke Franz. True Adrians will never wear wigs, nor allow their brethern to wear wigs." The Adrian spat into the dirt, making mud. He retreated into the locked barracks, crumbling the missive. After he crumbled the missive and toss it into the fireplace, as it created nice tinder for the fire to envelope. "The title of Adria was dissolved, it no longer belongs to Oren. They use titles to give away to their children as candy, empty titles, no bite, only yappy-barks. As per the law of Adria, the dumapolooza appointed their duke in a legal court of Adrian law."

"Aha! Mr... Nikolai... Yes, here you are!" Jeremiah the doorman smiled as he scanned through the guest book of the Providence Suite luxury hotel. "We have you booked for room 213. Unfortunately, the wedding of the good Duke Philip of Adria is some time away and the rent here is awfully high." He lamented as he went back to scribbling on his notepad "My my, there are so many excited Adrians scheduled to come! Business is booming!"

Duke Franz Nikolai looked at the bill and then had his smile turn into a frown. "Outrageous! Half of the citizens leave the city, you think the prices here would be a lot lower! No matter, I will foot the bill for this hotel!"
