VA VE EDLERVIK, His Lordship, Baron Robert Aleksandr Ludovar of Otistadt is overjoyed to announce the forthcoming fourteenth name day of his youngest daughter, Kayltyn Ludovar, in which she will formally transition from childhood into adulthood. A Lady’s Hauchmetvas, or Debut in common, is to be held within the Barony of Otistadt to celebrate such an occasion. Food, drink, and dance will be had throughout the evening to commemorate the Lady’s newly gained adulthood. The festivities will commence with a grand ball hosted within the Keep of Otistadt. Guests will be allowed to mingle and have drinks, as well as play drinking games while the dancing ensues. Suitors are encouraged to approach the debuting Lady throughout the evening with gifts, flowers, or an offer to dance to gain her favour. Following such, Johann Ludovar, heir to the Barony and the debuting Lady’s eldest brother shall make a speech in her honour. During this speech, Lord Johann will bestow Lady Kaytlyn a wreath of flowers that represent her ideals and aspirations in life: irises to symbolize Kaytlyn’s everlasting hope, sweet pea flowers to symbolize a blissful life, and daisies to symbolize her loyalty to the House of Ludovar. It is asked that guests do not don the colour red, as this is the colour that debuting Ladies in Haense wear during their Hauchmetvas. Gifts are encouraged, but most certainly not required to attend. It is certain to be an event of grandeur and should not be missed!
