Painting circa. 1855

In pitter patters of the rain, distant heels could be heard approaching the grand gates of Oren. A familiar flaxen haired girl turned woman now paused- glancing up toward the unfamiliar city. She sighed, her gloved hands balled as she knocked upon the citizen door. It opened, and there opened a new chapter within her life.

The city was different now. The people were familiar but older and seemed to have seen a ghost within her eyes. Surely this was Oren but nothing was as she remembered. She quickly sent word to her brother, whom she hadn’t seen in over a decade in hopes to rekindle their deep bond that the two had within their youth. The Renzfeld woman felt uneasy but as she found her gaze upon the familiar smile of her sister in law, she felt her anxiety subside.

Many asked where she had gone so she spoke of her time away and the adventures she had encompassed. Her family celebrated her return basking her with love, and as word got around of it- she found herself feeling as though she never left.

With that, the long lost eldest Princess of Renzfeld was home.

"Interesting, very interesting." the elderly man muttered before going to call one of his grandchildren, "Children come look! More royalty to learn about, take notes of how this one acts I am sure it will be amusing." After stating these words the man would swiftly escribe a letter, a dragon crest upon the seal.

Joseph d'Azor sat within his office as he thought back upon the month. "The return of the Princess Amelia..." He mused with a light smile curling across his lips. "I truly hope she found what she was looking for on her travels, at least her place in the world. She has more than earned that." He spoke looking forward to seeing the woman around more.

"Princess Amelia." Her name would echo throughout the empty estate. "Happiness cannot always last." A certain Basridi mumbled to herself before not icing the footsteps of her nosey triplets. "It's time to move on, ano?" She would approach Darya ( @Rae), resting her hand upon the little one's shoulder. "Let it go. It'll no longer be a concern."

Anastasya removed a cross from around her neck and handed it out to Amelia. Seeing the gesture, Amelia removed a pearl bracelet of her own. The two little girls exchanged the items, nodding to one another.

"A truce," the Princess Amelia stated.

"A truce," repeated the young Anastasya.

From within the confines of the imperial apartments, as the Empress cradled her sleeping baby daughter, Princess Lorena, she held up that same pearl bracelet. She looked over it with a faint smile - the Novellen family, slowly becoming completed again, with her friend and confidant now returned.

A Francesca Helvets, now aged many years, sat in the confines of a far away home, seeing from the eye of writings and letters what was happening in the empire. She mused over this return, and she herself felt comfortable in her own travels, not yet ready to make her appearance.

“We need to seperate, Kaus.”

Kaustantin had always been a man to reminisce of his past, despite how troubled and messy it was, he spared a moment in his day to think of the life he lived especially now after living a life as a statesman. Unlike today.

Here he was, the aging former Palatine sat on the edge of his farm, a trusty corgi by his side as he recalled the words of that Orenian Princess he loved and broke the heart of. If only, he thought, with no rash actions of youth perhaps this Princess, Amelia, wouldn’t have gone missing.

Frowning, the man turned to view his sleeping corgi, one that reminded him of both the Augustine, and the Princess.

“May the future be ever brighter.”

He prayed for the Princess, hoping that she would suffer no more and find peace in this life, just as he did. The man then turned with a small smile and went to spend time with his family.
