Harald 2490 Share Posted October 7, 2022 A EVE OF LOVE In the year of our Lord, 11th of Godfrey’s Triumph 26 B.A Seeing as fifty years has passed since myself and my love gave one another our yes during a cold eve during the long war that occupied a long period of our lives. the Vuiller house has deemed it worthy to sponsor an event within the Kingdom of Balian. To celebrate that special day of happiness during times of worry and grief. Therefore we invite friends and kin to this celebration of Love. The festivities shall take place mainly within the capital of Atrus, yet some of the activities taking place outside of the capital walls. The time schedule is as follows. The Gathering. During the first gathering of people there shall be served free drinks local to Balian as a welcome, giving people some time to mingle and await the arrival of those who might run a little late. [3PM EST] The Eagles Flight. Following proud Balian traditions, a chase shall be held where the women attending takes place before the gate of Atrus. Here a countdown shall be held before they are to run with a 10 saint seconds advantage from their male counterparts. The end goal is then for the men to find and “catch” one of the women. [3:30PM EST] The Masked Dance During the masked dance each person who arrives is expected to wear a mask of any sort to slightly cover who they are. After all, who doesn't love a masquerade? [4PM EST] After these events, the night shall be allowed to take its natural course as further events are not planned for the eve. Lastly we would like to extend our warm welcome and we look forward to seeing each person who has join us on this occasion.
