The New World and You: A Teaser

Here is an idea, people can only bring their minas, a few valuables (ex. 8 Diamond, 2 gold, a stack of Iron, whatever) some weapons, food, and other survival gear. Then nobility can stay noble, and it won't be AS difficult to restart on a new world.

First, like I said, im not some rich guy trying to keep their stuff, I have 64 minas on me right now, I give half me money to the King to support the fight on the Undead every week. Im just trying to preserve an accurate feel of how an escape from persecution would look like. Im going to go all history on you for that part. Then I am going to talk about the other aspect of the RP.

1. In every RL escape from persecution the people always bring their money and stuff with them, its just how its works. The Huguenots from France during Louis XIV and African refugees fleeing governments. The Huguenots are the rich merchant and protestant class of France during Louis XIV reign. He starts persecuting and hunting them down to kill them all. What do they do? They take ALL THEIR MONEY and ALL THEIR MERCHANDISE and move to Germany. Next lets look at refugees fleeing Sudan. You notice how they always show footage of them in back packs and driving trucks on terrible muddy roads? Thats because they are trying to save their stuff, and most of them succeed.

Now again, I dont know what you all up there are planning, but even if you just teleport us to the new world we would still have to be wearing our clothes which would mean a backpack at least right?

2. People shouldn't start treating people differently just because there is a new world.....

Lets say your on a deserted island with the Queen or the President right? You aren't just going to say, "Hey you need to work harder because were trying to survive here!" You would still give them the same level of respect, or at least I hope you would......((This is also a reason why I don't like the whole Aegis democracy movements but thats a different story....))

What you say makes sense, though I would prefer that there be some people already there. After all, there is going to be cities built there prior to their arrival. Also regarding the royalty, in the new world while they will be regarded as King or Queen but that is of the old nations of Aegis, not the new world, others may lay claim to rule the new nations. But who knows what will happen.

If you let people take just their most precious items in their inventory, and their minas, everything will be fine. It will make people decide what is worth having, other wise your going to kill the economy that took some work from everyone to help make.

Restarting from scratch isn't the best idea in my eyes at all. For all the people who donated and got minas doing so, I don't think it would be that fair taking it away from them. I really just think we should at least keep our hard earned minas.

Now I must agree with Trazier that yes a new world would be exciting but come one lets think about it and I speak in my opinion on this as of joining this server since the day of release and I have spent countless hours and days working to help my guild and gather supplies for it and then in one sudden snap of a finger all that works goes *poof* I mean seeing that happening would really annoy many of those who have been here since its release (Just my thought on it)
