"Another dogged contender? This one would do well to remember his place, lest he end up in a pile with the others. Forgotten." A van Aert says to his compatriot after reading the missive.

“I fuckin’ hate those assholes. All the idiots of Gwendel’s brood know nothing about how to traverse this world with an inch of decency. Kill them and be done, for it will be better for everyone else in this life.” The Archduchess of the Petra licked her finger, shaking her head and flipping to the next missive in her stack for the day.

"This is why noble bloodlines are dumb," would state Kursik after hearing of the Vilac familial strife. Shrugging, Kursik would return to tending his herd of 'Ferrymare' horses.

The mother of the aforementioned Baron of Vilac rolled her eyes "We were leaving well enough alone until your lot decided to come into the court of Balian whilst we gained our peerage and jeer about 'false Vilac's'. Now you wish to virtue signal?" she turned to her maid who had to read the missive to the near blind woman "I put all the lineage issues to rest over a decade ago with a public retelling of historical facts, did no one read it? What a shame, and I spent so much time writing it. Perhaps I should hand deliver it and explain in full? Ah, but Cas and August would be livid if I did, saying it is too dangerous. I'm too old to be afraid of young lads who want to peacock around for glory over a non-issue." she hummed, rocking back in her chair as she idly pet the large feline sitting by her side.

Augustus Maxim Vilac, heir to the one true line of Vilac, sharpened his spear as he read the missive aloud to his eldest children.

"The Renai's are making up facts now? Interesting... So much for their 'honour'. Perhaps Mater can enlighten them on our family history."

He mused to the two as he rose to once again go find his brother.

After reading the letter, the Ashford would think back to his earlier days in Petra, when he slandered the same Baliantes who had treated the Verbants with derision.

He would show his former squire, Adelric, the missive, a smile presented on his features. @MRCHENN

“Quite cowardly to ignore the claim of your kin!” says a distant cousin, annoyed by the constant bickering of his fellow dragons.

*Onon merely glances thru the misive, shruging as he heads off letting those people paint themselfs as targets for the ferrymen if they so insisted on making it clear they are nobles with way too big ego's... Seeing Adria start shiet with Balian though he takes that as a reminder to reheat his daemonsteel.*
