JoanOfArc 4587 Popular Post Share Posted September 27, 2023 [!] This missive is pinned across all nations of the Canonist Realm. TO HIS HOLINESS, SIXTUS V, AND THE CHURCH OF CANON. The Lord ruleth me, I’ll not want. He makes me down to lie, in pastures green: He leadeth me, the quiet waters by. For though I should walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Thy rod and Thy staff, they hath been a comfort to me. In good blessing and health, I write to you out of my own accord, in light of GOD, and his shepherd the most faithful. Our lands have suffered from the cold; ailing children in the frost, and mothers who cannot feed them. The elderly have grown sick, and the cold has imprisoned the north - be it the wrath of GOD, or something evil. However, in this time, a beacon of the Holy Light - a most faithful priest, unwavering in virtue and prosperity, has saved many of our people on behalf of GOD, the most powerful and knowledgeable. They are nothing short of miracles, all witnessed by the Canonist Flock during this tragedy and suffering in Haense. I write this to speak on the miracles of one Stanislaw Bishop Westerwald so that in death, he may be remembered. Sadly, I could not wait for his death - a most pious man should have his virtues known to the world. During the blizzard, the Bishop - most pious and faithful - arrived at the clinic of Haense. He looked over at a knight suffering from the cold, and his eye was wretched by shards of ice. Upon touching his wounded eye, and speaking a prayer loudly to all, it had healed after a singular night. During the blizzard, the Bishop - most pious and faithful - arrived at the clinic of Haense. He looked over at a soldier suffering from broken bones after saving a life. Upon touching his ailing bones, and speaking a prayer loudly in service to GOD, it had healed after a singular night. During the blizzard, the Bishop - most pious and faithful - arrived at the clinic of Haense. He looked over at the Queen of Haense, who was suffering from the cold and traumatic lungs. Upon touching her hand, and speaking a prayer loudly in service to GOD, it had healed on the spot. An evil vampyre attempted to devour a child outside of Haense, but the Bishop was most lucky to find them. The vampyre could sense virtue from the priest, and began to disintegrate after a prayer was spoken by him, leaving both priest and child unscathed - no weapons used either, sanctifying his touch. The good Bishop remains humble and does not speak of his miracles, but I cannot allow them to simply remain unforgotten. Do not see this as me calling him a true saint, but for some, he already is. erictafoya 2330 Share Posted September 27, 2023 A boy quickly told his peers what he had witnessed in the clinic on that dreadful night "It's true! I saw Bishop Stanislaw hover his hand over Ryba's legs, and after a prayer, his legs twisted and re-aligned itself! It looked like it hurt... but Ryba walks to this day!" Leonid told to some of his friends who were not there, particularly his closest friends Alfred, Aurelia, and Heinrik. @Gandhi@Smol@critter

PrimnyaQuorum 1061 Share Posted September 27, 2023 A Watcher chokes on his King's Ivy-spiked Tea as he reads through the missive, brow shooting up as he shakes his head "I know my nephew - there's not a chance he's humble." He remarks, glancing about to find he is alone and speaking to nothing. He returns to sipping his tea in interrupted silence.
SethWolf 1471 Share Posted September 27, 2023 To His Holiness Sixtus V, I write to you to confirm the words of Mother Milena Franziska. Whilst these claims may seem at a glance the fanciful tall tales of a panic-stricken populace of a city under siege by a terrible storm - they are nevertheless true, may GOD bless us. I personally witnessed each of these incidents, save account IV. With only a touch and beckoning of the Lord God, my brother performed the miracles so described. I am willing to personally testify to the true nature of the claims made should inquiries be made as to their validity. Frostdrop1 928 Share Posted September 27, 2023 Ser Audo Weiss smiled faintly at the missive, his thumb pressing in to lightly crease the page. Perhaps there were times that the sin of doubt had caught his heart, but with the acknowledgement of the Pontiff he could hardly complain. He sat back in his chair - in the dark lit only by the fading luminosity potion at his side - as his ever-faint smile wobbled taut. Though Stanis never spoke a word of these works to his father, he could always be proud of the boy that once feared what he could do. "Vy've mastered that talent, padrevar. Vy've mastered it, and done so, so well..." His gaze tipped left, up to the portrait of Felix and Maria. Audo couldn't quite understand why such a bessing was borne to him. Beyond him, some plan was at work.
