IN OUR ENDURING MISSION TO UPHOLD THE SANCTITY OF OUR NATION, we must address behaviours that threaten the foundation of our societal values. Ripe among these sits the public show of affection, a practice which stands in stark opposition to the principles held so near.

 

Public displays of affection, devoid of holy intent, not only undermine the decorum expected in our public spaces but also offend the divine sanctity that guides our nation. Such acts, if left unchecked, risk eroding the moral fabric of our society and leading our citizens away from the path of righteousness.

 

I propose the following for immediate consideration:

 

The Prohibition of Public Displays of Affection within New Valdev: In recognition of the affront to GOD that such actions represent, I propose a complete ban on any non-holy display of affection within public spaces within our reddened walls. Such shall be upheld under the jurisdiction of the Grand Maer.

 

Ch. IX.V. of the Jura I Kongzem reads that the Grand Maer responsibilities are to:

iii. Maintain the appearance of the Crownlands and Capital, and aid the Crown with improvements to infrastructure.

 

Acts of intimacy, unless conducted within private institutions and with holy intent, shall be deemed unlawful, working against the appearance of the Capital. Offenders shall face appropriate penalties, reflecting the severity of their transgression against both divine law and societal expectations.

 

By prohibiting public displays of affection, we uphold the sanctity of our public spaces and reinforce the moral standards that define our nation.
