Thank it's all over at least.." the uruk muttered to himself reading the missive, just saddened at how far it went just to end up at peace, with all the conflict added on now.

Valerius Montalt gets whiplash from the Pontiff's decree and then his eyes smoulder with incandescent anger. The Republican Dream still drives him, yet there is one fact that brings him solace for the time being, despite his vicious disagreement with the edict. With tensed fingers, he drummed his digits against his desk, his entire posture eking malevolence and a glance of turpitude towards that insidious edict that was laid out before him.

The youth readies his horse in the stables not too long thereafter, before riding to try and get an audience with the Pontiff. This one crime was not enough for her. There were many more that ought to be punished. For if the young boy could not earn himself a place in the annals of history through bouts in war, then he would certainly do so through the legal channels.
