Issued by the

THE OFFICE OF THE EMISSAR

8th ag Joma ag Umund, 545 E.S.

FOLLOWING A REQUEST for an investigation into the murder of Nataya, troubling facts have come to light, concerning the activities and beliefs of Nataya, as well as the whereabouts of her daughter, Lorina.

It brings the author no joy to report that in life, Nataya was an active Mystic, a Xionist, and an ally of the Darkspawn of Lumbridge. Exactly when she became one is unknown, but it is a fact that she actively held Xionist beliefs, and also dabbled in a heretical magick known as 'Mysticism'. The Xionist path she follows is known as the ‘Way of Umbrage’.

Though the exact circumstances of her death are still unknown (an undead mage named Arthur is the primary suspect, being the one who dropped her body by the gates), she has returned to new life as a ghost. She is of the peaceable variety, rather than having returned as a poltergeist, but she still adheres to her Xionist ways - though can no longer practice her unholy magicks.

Her daughter, Lorina, who has been missing, currently resides in Lumbridge, being ‘looked after’ by Nataya, her mother. The author does not and cannot know the exact circumstances of her staying there, but Nataya is not an abusive parent - most likely she is being well-cared for, albeit most likely being fed with Xionist propaganda, and being induced into blasphemous beliefs.

It is the belief of the author that unless a rescue operation is mounted, then Lorina will fall to the same, heretical path as her mother did.

Cerrick of Khamees readied his blade, preparing to speak with his once rivals for yet another rescue mission. "I will not let Lorina fall to their ways, I promise that." Yet, Cerrick felt a twang in his heart as he read of her connections to the undead sorcerers.

Dame Yvaine seems evidently shocked, rubbing at her brow. "Would be a shame to have to kill the child." Was all she said.

The Lady Emissar seemed keen on retrieving that kidnapped child--if not to save her from that forsaken path her common-born mother had trodden down in pursuit of personal power. With haste, a copy of her Informant's report was delivered to the monastery of the White Comet.

The Devil-Knight of Dunkeld, who was once held in the throes of Xionism and the arts of Lumbridge, frowns upon seeing a good friend lost eternally to their machinations through death at the hands of the dreaded Arthur.

“Not you… you were better than I ever was. I’m sorry. I couldn’t save you from such wicked practices until it was too late…”

She had hoped to never have her silver-grey gaze meet with the halls of Lumbridge again, but she may have to. For Nataya and her daughter.

Felyska Amelya Weiss chuffed at the new, a coy smily tugged at her and, notably, a lack of surprise. "Oh-ho, now, look at who all these, godly, righteous up-standing folk consort with." She flaunted the paper aside with a dainty wave of amusement, "How shocking."

Arthur - AKA, Darkreaver Kosmikos, Champion of Xion and Umbrage looks upon the missive. "It is impressive they had managed to track down her affiliation, but evidently not my own - since they think I killed her. Or perhaps it is because this Van Leuven was seen getting information on me from the Naztherak. .  kekekekeke. But I assume it was just ignorance, the boy does not seem bright."

The child in question sees her name written on a missive and, thinking it’s a letter begins to write back, rather horribly.

“Dear, scary bird man. Lorina is ok. Thank you for concern.”

The “lumbaby” Lorina even gives a little signature of her own but it’s practically illegible.

Arabella feels the wracking grief for her friend a second time.

She doesn't understand.

She has far more questions than answers.

She needs answers.

In the howling wastes of Ailmere, a specter wept bitterly. For the life that she had lost, for the friends she would never be able to see again. Tears of bitter regret eventually faded into a protective, steeled resolve.

"For you, my daughter, I would kill them all."
