Tragedy struck the House of van Leuven when they first made their mark in our good Kingdom. When the late Adela van Leuven and her husband Ratibor May perished in a fire it was then that Lady Irena Kortrevich, a good friend of Adela’s, took in the orphans as wards. Since then, they have forged a legacy that brings pride to their family and late parents.

 

For their exponential growth as Edler’s of the realm and their continuous participation in The Hope Court (Ve Nadziesk Kort), the Crown has determined that the House of van Leuven shall be elevated to Baronial status effective immediately and that Lady Adelina van Leuven be enfeoffed as Baroness of Furentaliz. Lady Adelina shall henceforth be known as “The Honourable, Adelina van Leuven, Baroness of Furentaliz.”

Ever since their migration to Haense from the fallen Duchy of Stran with the aid of Blessed Queen Amaya of Venzia, the House of Korvacz has never made a step backwards in their progression. Their settlement of the Aestmarch and near immediate establishment of vassal alliances prove that they have not only progressed, but are well integrated into Haeseni society. Their contributions will never go unnoticed.

 

Following the formation of the Aestmarch Triumvirate under the leadership of the Baron Emeritus Lord Alekszej Korvacz, as well as their successful careers in the Hope Court and politics, the Crown confidently assesses that the House of Korvacz shall, without hesitation, be elevated to Viscomital status. Lady Sifra Korvacz shall be enfeoffed as the Viscountess of Koppány whilst retaining her previous Barony of Katabánya. Lady Sifra shall now be addressed as “The Right Honourable, Sifra Korvacz, Viscountess of Koppány, Baroness of Katabánya.

The House of Kortrevich is not foreign to the concept of high participation in the Aulic Government, rich and long standing traditions, as well as the willingness to find honor through duty as their familial words imply. King Ivan VIII and Queen Nataliya I first saw the potential of the Koravians when Lord Erik Otto Kortrevich led his house from a state of disarray and once again reclaimed the Viscounty of Krusev. That potential has once again been proven, and a legacy has been restored.

 

Alongside his wife, Lady Emma Kortrevich (who was raised to equal status), The Right Honourable Viscount and Viscountess of Krusev has ushered a reinvigorated family into a new age. It is rightfully so that the Crown recognizes these efforts and returns the House of Kortrevich to Comital status. Lord Erik Otto Kortrevich and Lady Emma Kortrevich shall hold the right to style themselves as “The Right Honourable, Erik Otto Kortrevich, Count of Jerovitz, Viscount of Krusev, Baron of Koravia” and “The Right Honourable, Emma Kortrevich, Countess of Jerovitz, Viscountess of Krusev, Baroness of Koravia”, respectively.

Many centuries ago during the infancy of our nation, two great men forged a pact that would stand forever. These men, now known as St. Karl of House Barbanov and St. Carr of House Colborn, not only planted the seeds of what we now know as the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, but also forever changed humanity. Since Lord Adrian Colborn reacclimated their ancient House into Haeseni society, the upwards trend has not faltered since.

 

Generations upon generations have come and gone since their return and the House of Colborn have served loyally under the Crown like the time of St. Carr. Their presence in both the Brotherhood of St. Karl and the Marian Retinue, as well as their keep located alongside our southwestern borders, have solidified their family as one of security and military prestige. It is for that reason and many more the Crown raises the House of Colborn to Margraviate status. Lord Osgod Colborn shall hold the right to style themselves as “The Most Honourable, Osgod Colborn, Margrave of Kazan, Count of Malkovya, Viscount of Venzia, Baron of Bethlenen”.

There have only ever been three cadet lines stemming from our Royal House of Barbanov. The Houses of Ludovar, Alimar, and Morovar. Their royal blood not only ties them as kin to the Crown forever, but also ties them to the Kingdom by extension. Those cadet houses have seen peaks and dips, but only one line has stood the test of time through countless generations: The House of Ludovar.

 

After the unfortunate reign of Lord Robert “The Fat”, it seemed that the family may join their cousins towards the path of being yet another footnote in history. However, under Lord Johann, the family restored itself to its former prominence. Many decades later and once again their glory was marked during the Aevos Coalition Wars, when Lord Otto II elevated their family to a Margraviate through military prowess and government participation. The Crown now restores history and reinstates the House of Ludovar to Ducal status and promotes the Margraviate of Kvasz to Duchy. Lord Henry-Otto Ludovar shall now be rightfully known as “His Grace, Henry-Otto Ludovar, Duke of Kvasz, Count of Otistadt, Viscount of Sezwesk, Baron of Juliksburg, Baron of Isaakev”

The little Robert, now two Saint's Weeks old did not understand the jovial merriment amongst his family at that moment, yet he still clapped along happily, laughing with joy alongside his grandfather, parents and siblings.

Upon hearing the news of her promotion, she collected her heir and held the babe in a tight embrace. Soon, she was clapping and cheering with all of her children as she announced the news to the babes, as if they understood the significance.

With her mother's words did she stare in wonder, that doe eyed gaze lingering towards her siblings. "Great ness." She echoes, far too young to really grasp the weight and hopefulness of her mother's words. 

 

She dreams of her family that night, with her at the lead with a comically large, and definitely not correct, crown.
