I believe you do the players who have accomplished all of this in the span of a year a disservice by crediting it solely to the "Yes ok." man that has been Ragool.

 

He is only as powerful as you the player are willing to make him. ST pex did not lose you the war. I did, along with a massive host of like-minded fellow LotC players.

...Don't believe anyone said he's the reason we lost the war. The war situation is a separate issue of communities and realm leaders and the many, many flaws present in how war has been handled recently. But yes, congratulations, you won the war and got Burgundy.

LoTC is in the best place it's been in years, this doomering is asinine.

 

Casually more than 220~ players on a random Tuesday afternoon.

Most small/major events I've seen in years from the ST.

Nation to nation roleplay at an all-time high.

 

Not more than 3~ years ago you couldn't travel from tile to tile due to server lag for months at a time. A Tuesday afternoon EST player count would be closer to 120.

War roleplay understandably is very conflict driven, it's ok to feel emotion during these things as I believe that's what makes LoTC special. The same way you might laugh/cry/smile during a movie or book is in my mind how you should respond to LoTC at times. Important to remember that what might not be exciting or fun for your character could be another character's life goal or purpose. We all share the server, let's not ostracize those enjoy these dynamic parts of the server 🌎

For you, Tide, I don't mind the war bit. You guys in the League won fair and square. However, a ton of the RP surrounding this has been instigated by Raguel, who is a ST member who plays as a main character. In regards to where most of my complaints lie currently is that it seems to be an active hunt for anyone not directly involved in the formation of the next Empire. 

 

As many here know, I was a major supporter of the last Novellen Empire, and I loved that nation and was extremely disappointed in its fall, which led to the current world order being nation bloat (also not okay). However, we now are entering a period of a lack of nations for players who don't want Imperial roleplay. I'm not personally sure what I'd suggest on how to solve this matter, but for one I'd like to find out about it in character, as that's what this server is for to solve problems using our characters and our roleplay skills.

 

Furthermore.. I have nothing against the formation of a new Empire, as it was bound to happen in the future regardless of what either side did. Perhaps in a few days, I will make a new Canonist Human character to roleplay or continue with my Elf character in occupied Celia'nor. At the end of the day, this thread made me realize that to enjoy LOTC, you have to be willing to adapt to the changes coming our way in the next few weeks.

Once again, I apologise for playing a character as a story team member who gained influence. Next time, I will avoid roleplaying as my character. I did not mean to upset players by roleplaying as an ST.
