The Knight Inquisitor smiled a smug smile, the smuggest, his mission accomplished. No longer would the hellspawn contaminate the metropolis.

"Good riddance." He spoke, dragging on his cigarette.

"Finally..."
Vivien seemed relieved that the warlocks were being pushed out

"Time to push into the warlocks keep, and expulse these devils, Unlike Uncle Gusiam, they are all evil seemingly"

An angry wail echos the walls of Garenbrig under the storm cloud gathered. Hope was gone. There was only despair as his world shrank once more.

A Witch couldn't help but laugh, all those Devils who believed so desperately that they would find salvation in the Empire, despite the warnings, despite the history, despite the course of logic.

"Let them reap what they've sown, all to ashes."

A priest is read the law by an acolyte in his small, opulent chapel.

O Lord, he prays that night, wipe this scourge from your worldly Kingdom.

Kill them all.

A wraith, born once in the Sunless Sanctum of Axios to red skin, serpentine tail, arched horns and eyes that blazed like fire, smoldered solemnly in the Abyss. It was perhaps the oldest of the 'cursed children' yet existent, save for one other whom now shared in its undeath.

Crowned in the trappings of a dark cleric for a faithless way that sought to unravel the gods of men and demons alike, forged anew by the blackest arts from the most woesome pits of Xion and ordained by the will of sinners, the once-devil innocently stirred:

"Don't they know I'm just misunderstood?"

Father Martin laments at the extreme law, but in it he also feels conflicted. To what extent should mercy — God's mercy — be afforded to cursed children? Is it a greater showcase of mercy to put them death and thereby rid themselves and others in their path the ability to be tempted astray from God's path? He prays at that and thinks on his conversations with others about the topic.

Spoiler

Haenser blood curse will be eradicated.

The cursed child is considered to be Anathema

“…This is ironic,” Said the mother of two cursed born, one of which was named Anathema. Still, she kissed the head of her youngest daughter, but two years old. “But you will be safe out here. We will all be safe away from them.

The elder devil heaved a breath in, then passed a lengthy sigh. There really was nowhere to go, and never would be. Work and work of generations wiped away in the blink of an eye.

As it always was. As he had always been warned, as he had always seen.

It would never be safe.

Then, he cursed his own foolishness. His head always knew; his heart just failed to listen. A thought, a long one, was spared to his estranged son - a traitor. Nevertheless, his son. All the whimsy he carried, the hopes, the dreams. Then, when nothing could be expressed, for once in a very long time, he swept his piles of books and clutter on the desk. Pages flew across the room. Vials were shattered.

It was inevitable; indomitable.

An ancient heroine of Empires past thanked her lucky stars that she was not a cursed child. The elfess reflected back through her centuries of knowing those of infernal affliction, and simply shrugged.

"They all turn out to be idiots anyway. Let them burn."

“God damnit.”

Said the Kha, rolling his eye before tossing the missive aside
