Unfortunately, the content of the clips are only as good as what I can see right on the spot. I am not in Teamspeak when recording, and I do not know when one army is about to flank/ambush another. I have to set up Camera Studio waypoints on-the-go and record them as quickly as I can before the players leave the shot's frame.

Also, with this many players present a bit of both client and server-side lag is expected, although from what I heard the server was running topnotch during the war (which leads me to believe that client lag was the source of a majority of the odd stutters). Nonetheless, the computer I record on was high-end about 2 years ago, so perhaps it is time for an upgrade. :p

I saw myself jump, and die, of a sword to the face, then landing too hard..

One of the best battles I've had the pleasure of leading.

Looking forward to the next one as well.

[[ Try and get the sally next time though :( ]]

Edit: The next and last one for you guys :P. Still planning on topping that flanking move. Just wait until horses arrive.

Nice high production value. Little note though, I felt the cutting between panning shot to panning shot was a bit too much of a jumpcut. You want to avoid jumpcuts unless you have some purpose for it. If you do have a purpose for jumping then don't overdo it or you'll end up driving your audience mad like in The Weekend.

Remember that editing is all about making the dramatic points more dramatic by separating them between subtle things. If you've got a whip pan you put it between two stationary shots. This concept goes across all devices of editing, particularly jump cuts.

Just trying to encourage improvements. You can never be too good at editing.

Title graphics look amazing btw.

Someone should make a bird's eye view time lapse of battles like this.
