I have a suggestion to be added to the Elven mines. Glowstone if possible. The nation is constantly having to use glowstone due to someone accidentally or purposely breaking it. We need some sort of way to renew the supplies.

P.S.- Knowing that this is highly needed for my people, as a Prince I thought I'd put this out there.

Overal, I believe the resources have been fairly split.

Like the poster above me, though, I note the absence of glowstone(crystal) mines/caves..

I also feel that Halflings should probably have access to clay, as clay is generally harvested from riverbanks.

Though, if they don't, I will do all in my power to get a clay-trade going IC'ly, toward Halfling lands. :3

Edit: Actually, I somewhat feel like the Dwarves don't have enough different ores... Though, that's something which we'll need to see in practice first.

I like the idea. One thing I note is if nations are at war and one needs the said resource in the mines, how would one go about requiring access to large amounts of such. It could be solved via roleplay and diplomacy so its not to big of a deal I suppose.

Humans: Coal, Clay, Redstone

Now to get on with the good stuff. The Nation mines themselves will function differently than the current public mines. For one, these mines will be blocked off by Log Block or something similar so that only those who are given mechanical permission are able to access the mines. The Nation Leaders will have the power to dictate who can access their respective Nation's mines, and they may even choose to add mining permits to be purchased for said access.

On top of this, although we will be building the mines, the Nation Leaders will be talked to about what they want the mines to actually look like. For instance, one Nation Leader might prefer their Nation's mine to be built structurally like the current public mines, but another might prefer if their Nation's was a system of natural caves or perhaps an organized complex of routes. In such a case, inspirational or concept pictures would be highly useful and appreciated. Other factors will also be discussed with the Nation Leaders, such as where their Nation's mine will be located, whether or not event locations will be present (IE cave-in areas), and more.

I presume you will attempt to notify Mogroka for Oren about this. If not, the next person to turn to is ElectricWizard, as in Alexander de Stolistes, Lord High Chancellor of Oren. Considering though that Oren is run by a council during the Emperor's absence, it would have to be discussed with the council as well. And since it also touches a lot of the economy, should you be unable to contact Alexander or Mog, I would be the third person in the list, as Lord High Treasurer of Oren. Of course, I will bring it to debate with the council.

Completely forgot about Glowstone, thanks for the reminder!

After discussing it with a few GMs and an Admin and regarding the suggestions of you guys, we will add glowstone to the Elven mine. They use it the most and have had the most of it taken from them with the Antagonist attacks. On top of this, adding another resource to their currently thin mine may be good, as just emeralds won't cut it.

Seeing as Haelun'or is more independent than Malinor I wouldn't mind a small mine being placed there since we would now have no minerals to trade. This could in fact stunt our growth.

I present you a few options;

1: A small amount of quartz and gold

2: Sandstone and 1-2 iron ore (to boost inter-economy between Malinor and Oren)

3: A small amount of quartz and sandstone

4: relative amount of clay, gold, sandstone

5: 2-3 quartz, 2-3 Iron, even split of sandstone/clay

6: Glowstone

I am only asking for staff opinion.

This would not only boost economy for the high elves instead of stunt them but it would give RP jobs for some of Lin'evaral's citizens.

High Elves are still Elves and thus will be part of the Elven mine. I guess for the Elves it is not so much a Nation mine as it is a racial mine, so I'd say they're the exception. In the Elves' case, the mine will likely be dual controlled by both Malinor and the High Elves, unless the two can come up with another solution with a similar effect.

Time for Oren to conquer Karakatuan for its iron.

Humans are all QQ about Iron. . - . And then they tell Dwarves not to whine over them having the larger playerbase and upperhand.

Tl;DR, Humans, mature, pl0x.
