  15. I only CRP on a friendly base with people I know and trust to make the best decisions because most players can't be trusted with making the best decisions about what they can and cannot do. Anything else straight to PVP if I have a say. Even if it's in my disadvantage because I don't want to sit there for 45 minutes getting salty cause someone is explaining to me about their character's training or some ****. If anything the times I do CRP, chop it down to either a pre-determined winner, or my friend and I are communicating either in VC or just have a mutual understanding of what the other character is trying to do, which I suppose would fall under skill.

  20. this one goes out to my homie-not-homie: screamingdingo. The Duufle 1: Anatomy/Description The Duufles are similar to dogs in nature, in fact, many would consider them distant cousins of the creature. However, unlike most canine companions, Duufles evolved a thick outer-shell, leathery and tough in nature. These plates are ineffective against weapons, the Duufles throughout the eras have slowly lost whatever ‘steel like’ strength in their outer shell they were known for. Now more similar in texture to tanned leather, then anything. Their under-sides and totally unarmored, in any sense, though remarkably fluffy. Usually having a small tail, and stubby legs. Small and barely noticeable canines. They often snack on fruits, berries, and if need be even the leaves off of trees, though this isn’t their first option, their stomachs are capable of digesting many things. Duufles can resemble many different breeds of dogs, as the same course of selective breeding can be followed with the Duufles, as with normal Canines. Though the typical ‘wild’ Duufles is about a medium-sized dog, usually 20 to 27 inches in height, weighing 50 to 60 pounds. Anything larger or smaller than that is a result of selective breeding. One feature all Duufles have is their shell, and this cannot be removed through any selective breeding. Much like their canine cousins, the Duufles share an extremely similar bone structure, though their spine, and rib cage is significantly more dense, compared to their cousins, leading them to often have troubles with swimming. It’s not impossible, though granted it would be extremely difficult. That said they cannot breed with dogs, at all, only other Duufles. Duufles are omnivorous, eating both meat, though usually things smaller than themselves, or plants, which are much preferred. They have strong, yet short legs, capable of running at a reasonable pace, usually 20 mph (~30 KPH). The structure of their back allows them to curl into a ball, tucking their legs upward, and head between their legs, onto their tail. This is their natural defense mechanism, effectively turning them into a ball. It is unknown how the Duufles survived without protection of Descendant & Friends. Duufles' Shell are as hard as a toughened leather. 2: Habitat The Duufles are often found in moderate, temperate, and tropical climates with excessive amounts of vegetation. Being omnivores is a plus only if you are able to catch smaller prey, and for the Duufle, they must keep their options open. They often hide, or live in trees, capable of curling around branches, and thanks to their strong muscles can lock in position, assuming they could wrap all the way around the branch in up to hurricane force winds. That said, Duufles often dig into the ground, and organize burrows. These burrows often aren’t much deeper then a few feet under the ground, and just wide enough for them to live in. Duufles do not hesitate to vacate these homes if a risk arises in the local area, often merging with other already organized burrows, or creating a new location. Duufles cannot survive harsh winters, they are incapable of understanding the patterns of such. Thus, they do not live in areas that have any snow fall… at all… Only in places that bloom year round, making their choice for settlement limited. Though under the care of Descendant & Friends, they could live practically anywhere, assuming they were given shelter, and food in excess to prevent them from leaving. Burrows are not often flooded, tunnels often taking, what seem like random 40-50 degree angles downwards and upward in order to avoid events in torrential rainfall. The Duufles are ingenuitive little creatures, all things considered, their burrows, though small, are complex. Spots designated for specifically for bedding, storage, and even a basic social hierarchy, which keeps orders in the multiple dens of each burrow. 3: Temperament Duufles are docile in nature around beings larger than themselves. They have 3 options, continue as they were, curl up into a little ball, or run. Duufles often curl up into a ball in most cases, assuming the approachie isn’t taking a threatening stance, or appearing threatening to the significantly smaller creature. Offerings of food are typically accepted. Duufles have a social hierarchy, often placing the strongest Duufles at the top of the hierarchy, or those more ‘popular’ among the burrow. Duufles are easily tamable if you simply become ‘most popular Duufles’. Though that’s easier said than done, Duufles are often unwilling to leave their home in large numbers, one must usually focus their effort on one or two of the animals in order to get any success. That said Duufles, however loyal they may be, will not stand beside you in combat, well, more so roll beside you in reality. Duufles are easily startled, and scarred of the unknown, or of large things, or loud sounds. In case of any of the above, they will curl up into a tight ball, similar to the size of an oversized, and large doggy soccer ball. Duufles, if tamed will be your friend for life, often without exception, save the case of abuse. They will stand, or roll, loyally by your side, enjoying whatever bones, plants, berries, and food in general is tossed their way. Duufles are almost never seen on their back, unless napping beside their caretaker, owner, or another Duufle they are extremely close to, often mates. These creatures often roam the forests, planes, and jungles, as in aforementioned groups, called burrows. These burrows are a pack, and stick together through thick and thin. The lifespan of these creatures isn’t all that long, typically 7 years in the wild, or 12, even 15 under care from a descendant or friend. They can be taught tricks, and given tasks, for which they expect to be rewarded. They often enjoy a good pat, without exception enjoy undivided attention, play times, and nap times. Though belly rubs are mostly a no-go. Duufles are not always great with kids, unless said kids are careful, and gentle. First impressions do matter, and if the Duufle is hurt, or terrified, it will remember, often never recovering. Redlines: Duufles cannot be used in combat, they'll curl up into a ball at the first sign of danger. Duufles if abused will seek escape at every opportunity. Duufles do not prefer meats over plants, given the choice they will choose plants. Duufles can swim, though they are limited in their swimming capability, no crossing oceans. Duufles are not solitary creatures, if not given attention they may get bored and leave. Trivia: The number one cause of Duufle death is suicide The Duufles don’t often ‘bark’ per-say, sounding more similar to a ‘bork’. Duufles have roughly 500 million braincells. Duufles are Monogamous, only having 1 life long partner. Art references: Art by: Neoroseo Writing: TheFlowerBandit Original lore: Flam to all the white girls of lotc:
