  1. Musashi Masamune looks upon this from the Heavens, and wonders whether or not the Yong Ping Army will bend to these demands.
  2. Aye, bruh. The time travel event is some time in the future, whenever the build gets done. Still mad I didn't get to kill Athri on Marc of White. For shame, for shame.
  3. Well, that, and considering they have an insular inner circle to determine who gets emperor. So folks who are in the "in crowd" get first dibs. It's just scumbag voting for scumbag, essentially.
  4. This is a well measured response. It all reads quite well. The one thing I am concerned about though, is if this energy will be held for the foreseeable future. I remember this situation happening a couple times before. A person gets dragged into sunlight, the masses tear them apart, and then the staff team says "I'm sorry, we'll do better". Will this fervor hold? Will the protection of our underage players be held at the forefront of our minds? Only time will tell, I suppose. But so far, I've seen history repeat itself time and time again, here.
  5. I ask people their age no matter what, so I know what kind of things I can or cannot say to anyone. It's a safeguard for me, so I will never be caught in a scummy situation like the topic of conversation. I don't care if it's creepy or annoying. It covers my ass, which is more important to me than a few uncomfortable moments in a VC or messages on discord. If you refuse to answer, or I get the suspicion that you aren't being truthful, it's safe to say we won't interact anymore. That's just the nature of the beast. If you're over-age, you have to take accountability, and understand the sway you wield over a younger audience. End all, be all.
  6. This is kinda cap, in all honesty. Not to dig at the ST (since it's already happening at a commensurate rate (seriously please keep doing it, I'm getting my popcorn)) but considering that there have been no real significant events, the players have had to adapt and make their own events. A majority of the most fun I've had is either being a part of a player led event, or DMing a player event. Hell, the last time an ST event "wow'd" me, was a small Hexer event ran by Malaise. I can think of two others that hold a place in my mind, and both of them were ran by Mystery (a dude who's been long gone off the server for like, a year LOL). In my opinion, a fat chunk of the ST team needs to get the axe. A good solid majority have done nothing to help the server along, either eventline wise, or lore wise. It's time for some fresh blood. As well, not every event has to be doom and gloom. We can have some nonsensical events here and there. Perhaps something that relates to world building, and making it feel alive and fantastical. It just seems to me that people apply because they wanted PEX, and not because they want to tell good stories, which really sucks. It's a shame when the folks who are the ones supposed to help spin tales of wonder and creativity, are themselves creatively bankrupt.
  7. Masuo the Vagabond would be sitting on a stump in San'Velku, sharpening the 'Easy Way Out', a determined look upon his face. He'd then stow the blade in it's sheath, before preparing to depart for the last known location of the wanted individual.
  8. Masuo the Vagabond clapped for the Yong Ping Dragons, though he cheered for the Krugs! He then went to purchase some Krugtucky Fried Chicken, to celebrate the victory.
  9. Masuo the Vagabond would absentmindedly pat Da Red Menace's shoulder, thinking said snort was the result of some wayward pollen in the air. He would continue to read about the spirits, licking his thumb and flicking through the pages, ankle rested over top his knee as he did so.
  10. Why is it always the good, honest folks who fight for what is just, that end up leaving the server when it needs them most? In any case, you've done amazing, and I am sure we as the community appreciate all you have done for us, to boot. Now take a break, and collect yourself. Toss back some shots and touch some grass. You've earned it!
  11. "She's been alive for forever." Comments Masuo, the Vagabond. "Seriously, is no one going to talk about this?"
  12. LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. The Vagabond, commonly known to many as Masuo, is quite unhappy that he was not specifically invited, as the wonderful tour around Yong Ping AND the sushi dinner on the deck of his ship, The Samaritan's Lament, directly made this magic happen. Either way, he would show his face at this wedding.
  14. You're the person who gave Musashi meaning, homeboy. I'm saddened that you won't get to write with me on this medium, but you're always gonna be a friend of mine. Remember Millstone, Remember Goz-Bog. Hope to still talk with you. Keep in touch. You know where to find me.
  15. Guys, guys...everyone knows that birds are not real. I personally have half the mind to remove birds from RP. They detract heavily from storytelling. Metagaming is a big issue on the server already, and the birds are just exacerbating the problem. I do not think /msg should be axed as a whole, simply because I use it when I wish to RP with folks, or when folks wish to RP with me. I think that only with valid RP could birds be viable. And even then, I still would be hesistant to have them in RP, for the sake of all the new birdkeepers who also double as bandits popping up on the server. Just my opinion.
  16. Indigo Jack feels a tear of sad pity, as word begins to spread throughout the lands of this great tragedy. Despite being a money loving pirate, such loss of life is immense, and weighs heavy on the soul. Upon the deck of The Samaritan's Lament, Jack wheels out the pipe organ, and begins to play a mournful tune, at first humming a sad tune, and then slowly working up to singing a shanty passed down through the ages. His crew follows along, and eventually, they form a chorus of sad voices. Their tune carries through the streets of Yong Ping, and if one could listen closely, traces of it were heard on the wind.
  17. Indigo Jack and his crew drop the sails, fasten the lines, and weigh anchor on the shores of Yong Ping, making triple certain that no tsunami causes damage to his vessel a second time. "Not today, you idiots! Not today!"
  18. Glassy Skies Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Masamune Musashi gives this declaration a sharp and determined nod! He will always be willing to help an ally of Yong Ping!
  20. A respectable rewrite from a respectable person! I vouch for this. I would be quite interested in how it could be used in RP!!!
  21. Musashi points, a la Leo DiCaprio in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, at the sight of his own name.
