The Crest of Clan Karasuga Ezo Karasuga, Esteemed regent of the Viscounty of Chambery, and acting leader of Chambery calls out to all warriors, witchers, wizards, and wanderers. The great Viscounty of Chambery seeks the most skilled to aid the city in her time of need! The Viscounty is opening up bounties to the public for the removal and disposal of hostile creatures that occupy the city cistern, sewer and sub-caverns. For the past 4 years the citizens and soldiers of Chambery have heroically defended the city from dozens of monsters and other dark creations. The city seeks skilled adventurers to assist the city in lowering the monster population to manageable levels. With a recent surge of numbers of the dark beasts, Chambery's forces are stretched thin. The rise in monsters threaten His Imperial Majesty's lands and must be dealt with. The coffers of Clan Karasuga have been opened to assist with the monster problem. Bounties are being offered for each monster's head collected (or appropriate trophy). Classification for bounty payouts is as follows: Dark One/ Undead Minions - 10 minas. Lesser Beasts - 25 minas Dread Beasts - 50 minas Unique Creatures - 75 to 150 minas Reinhardt - 5,000 minas *this record has been scribbled out on all the posters* Bounties may be redeemed with the Regent of Chambery Ezo Karasuga. Can a team of master engineers use this to propel ferrum projectiles using redstone signals? Imagine 3 rings of Magnetus all discharged by redstone. A projectile sitting on one end on a rail with the rail going through the three rings. With proper timing, a button wired to repeaters would activate and deactivate each ring in order, pulling the projectile forward. I applaud this shift in the LT mindset. Back in LOTC 2.5-3.0 so much VonSchlichtenCo 's whimsical engineering lore was denied. It took a OOC battle tooth and nail just to allow a group of engineers to build a tiny steamship to sit on our island’s dock. The LT gave all sorts of reasons from "It doesn't fit the lore" to "It will be overpowered". Ignoring how dwarves have been using the tech since aegis and we had RPly worked with dwarven engineers for IRL weeks to learn the technology. Also how the ship was tiny, RPly didn’t sail faster than any other sail ship. Still denied. Then one LM understood our plight and saw the common sense in allowing a group of advanced engineers to build a steamship on our docks. Our boat was approved, the server didn’t implode. We love you Lago, where ever you are. Now, we had been working on lore for hot air balloons. But we CAN see how that can be overpowered or abused and not fit the lore. We accepted the denied lore. We still RPed researching and testing flight, but with all failures.

I'm glad things are being tried and tested rather than just rolled out onto the server and forced into gameplay.

Ezo Karasuga sees the strange carving on the wall. Nothing about the carving strikes him as cryptic. But he does think the carving looks aesthetically pleasing. It's geometric shapes and script catching his eye. Ezo takes out a piece of paper and charcoal. He places the paper over the carving and rubs the charcoal over the paper, creating a copy for himself. He rolls up the paper and places it in his inner coat pocket. "Perhaps the people of Chambery would find interesting such a design!", Ezo thinks to himself as he walks toward the shore to his waiting boat.
