Oh, Ebs. I've been getting myself involved in combat RP, and I have found that when there's more than 3 people involved, it goes downhill. In order for combat RP to work properly, you have 2 parties fighting, and one individual getting involved with one of them. The moment you have 4 guys, however (unless they're fighting in pairs, 1v1), **** goes down because of how hard it is to keep track of it.

I prefer majority rules with under 5 people.

If there's an RP fight, or if it's a situation that can be solved through role-play, RP should be default. If it's more than 3 or 4 people, it should be PvP, or everyone should wait and take turns to emote.

If you want, I have an open family rp slot. Otherwise, my advice is: Don't get overly attached to people on the internet, we can laugh with them, have fun with them, but most of these people will go, and we will only have our memories to remain, and smile at. The golden days are past, but why not forge new ones?

There's more variety and complexity of games for table-top than there are video-games. To tell you Risk is like talkin about pong is giving it too much credit. Civilization (board game version) is qualified as "for noobs" ;)

That is an example of basic "easy" table-top games.

And now that Orvars left I think we're the only viking/dane based culture/group left.

Thing is, crucible steel wasn't officially made by anyone but the Adunian I mentioned. Most people just implied their stuff was made of that material, but none went through the RP of developing it, thus most of it is either lesser quality crucible steel or fake crucible steel as far as IC knowledge goes.

Hehe, yeah. What happened to me was mainly because of my generation. We grew up (most of us) with a relaxed way of life. Take me for example :P
