Raptorous, when there is no Wilderness roleplay is stifled in my opinion. Building small settlements and small houses in the wild is what many people did and how nations grew. Now the established nations have a stranglehold - so it depends what you prefer - strong, populated nations or freedom for the players.

However, if the charter system is like I remember, they better bring it soon! That was a very nice system.

The first time I played rust was early alpha; naked men with rocks at little fires. It was like a caveman sim (would have been a better idea)

I'm also adding that the players are being screwed over and the transition was poorly done because of staff miscommunication. This could have been done another day if Kowaman told the staff his unavailability or if staff asked him first. I still think the staff needs to find someone who can communicate with them about things like this.
