  1. “Excellent. Some proper progress – but being equal would be plenty more suitable,” He shrugs, satisfied regardless with the open letter. “It’s always a Basrid that seem to be the most helpful.”
  2. This is good. It should’ve been like this a long time ago. While it’s going to end a lot of gate keeping which could prove bad, it’s proper to how it should realistically make sense imo. Puts more faith in the players too, so it’ll be a nice experiment and hopefully it turns out well and good.
  3. The Mane of the Pride Therkul, High Aelkos Ri’Haskir’Kul peers over the request with a quirked, bushy ebon brow. A grin stretches his maw, and he taps at the block of text .. “Citizens of the Empire can only be rightfully accused by a trial of their peers, or fellow citizens. These accusations can range from governmental subpoenas and summons to serving on juries and testimonies to the court. Because an “intelligent non-person” is neither a full citizen (ORC 301.071) nor a person (ORC 302.063), using the entity’s testimony in a court of law in a breach of the rights afforded to full citizens of the Empire. Only entities granted the Right to Due Process [Trial] can have their testimonies used legally without an infringement of legal protections afforded to the accused.” “It is therefore a good thing that I am a citizen with full rights. I didn’t design an astronomical observatory and help deliver four-hundred-some books to the capital of Oren for no reason. The only man who could by law, Emperor Peter III, ordained my status at the Silver Jubilee of 1763 – what a day,” He then peers over to a suit neatly hanging from a nearby rack. “Perhaps it is time to head back to Helena for a short while!”
  4. "Absolute non-sense," A herald of Azdromoth remarks in his typical accented drawl. "I bet they think Larihei was evil and corrupt as well when leading the mali'thill through Nether gateways to span the gap between Aos and Eos." He sends the missive into his fire place. "Why are they even sticking this to a Kharajyr's door?" He sighs, before returning to his hookah to smoke some fat cactus green.
  5. I wouldn’t honestly know because the voidal magic “community” if there even is one seems so pale and boring that it just doesn’t appeal. This piece appeals, and provides voidal mages a “goal” of sorts, and could definitely be more restricted and gate-kept to prevent the issues of getting it just to flex. I see time and time again voidal mages casting magic just to cast and flex, and while that isn’t incredibly fun and is simply snobby, I do think archons could provide plenty of concepts that would be neat. A true mage’s guild with actual “masters”, them being these archons, and the guild would stand out wholly more than any “schools” we have right now. A little flavor here-and-there to these absolutely empty magics would just be nice. But I’m not a voidal mage and probably never would be, so ultimately it’s just hopes to see another group get some cool end-goals other than “i am t5 in fifteen magics”

  7. Actually based. Adds some actual culture potential and substance to voidal magics.
  8. ”I was there, the Herald of Azdromoth, and nearly died protecting you all.”
  9. Haskir shakes his head, dumbfounded at the Elibar’acal’s decision. ”Silence from you, Storm Elibar’acal. It would beseech you to do so,” He drawls, an ire drawn in his tone. ”You bed humans and shades, so say the birds and so say Alfer Elibar’acal. You are no more pure than the dirt of the earth -- Azorella would spit on you. Walk the Blasted Lands of the realm and then you will understand why this has been done. Begone, forevermore, my once-friend.” He slams the gates of the portcullis shut as the ‘ata makes his way for the lift tower.
  10. “It is a shame that these individuals of Farrador accuse us of withholding information.” Haskir drawls with a tilt of his head, ebon lips twisting into a frown. “It has been myself that fed the Firewatch Alliance all that they know. Disappointing.”
  11. THE PACT OF THE TITAN Haelun’or and Lareh’thilln are the bastions of true civilization in Arcas, serene safeguards which -- like all sovereign nations abroad -- face the grave threat of the Inferi Menace. Many Mali’thill and lesser species alike fear that we face certain annihilation, that any endeavours to combat these vile beasts will bear no fruit. Elheial’thilln beseeches you: fear not -- for as we Descendants share this world amongst one another, so too do we share it with Him. He who is the balance between Light and Dark, He who offers us refuge from the wicked, He who will ensure the timeless legacy of Elmali’aheral will continue on. He who is the Titan Azdromoth, The First Drakaar, Son of Dragur; Heir to the World. Rejoice then, for under Him all countries and peoples of Arcas will endure! Several new policies are to be enacted henceforth and in perpetuity to ensure the survival of the Mali’thill in these trying times, approved by Elheial’thilln and deemed true to Larihei’s philosophy of maehr’sae hiylun’ehya by his pure eminence the Maheral, and can be found attached to this missive below: I. The First Drakaar, Azdromoth, is to be revered within Haelun’or, for it is He and He alone who offers us safety. Worship of the First Drakaar is only applicable to lesser species. Mali’thill will revere His might, His knowledge, and His protection of our people only. II. Practitioners of the Light or Dark, Xannites and their ilk, dark magicians and devious monsters such as shades, are to henceforth be expelled from Haelun’or unto the end-times. Those practicing the common worship of various worldly religions are permissible, should they adhere to the standards above. This rule applies even to those who do not spout their rhetoric or share their ideals, for their connection to the Light or Dark is folly itself. No exception is to be made except by The First Drakaar himself. III. Sons and daughters of The First Drakaar, Azdromoth, Elazdrazi, are to be welcomed into Elcihi and treated with the same respect as our fellow Mali’thill. Azdrazi, despite their relation to Him, are not exempt from the standard laws and regulations imposed upon all inhabitants of Haelun’or. Any crimes they should commit will result in the same fate as any typical transgressor. It is also expected that Azdrazi extend the same respect to Mali’thill as we would extend unto them. Any raucous or discourteous behaviour will not be tolerated. Those Azdrazi welcomed within Haelun’or are required to appear only in their natural forms, wearing no guises or false faces. The Document was passed 1778, and amended 1779 signed, The Maheral, Ikur Sullas The Sohaer, Nelgauth Maehr’tehral Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya
  12. A herald of Azdromoth peers over the golden-scripted declaration of war, a grin touching his ebon maw. “Excellent. The humans enter the fold.”

    The Summons

Somewhere in the world, a Kharajyr Herald of Azdromoth lay suspended by chains in the center of a pentagram, surrounded by dark beasts when the roar shook the world. Beaten and battered, he hangs tormented – alive – but unable to answer the call. Matorak was interrogating him, and the world’s secrets were then known. He hungers.
  14. The Tilruir’Kha grins wide, mane bristling. “We’re back.”
  15. Haskir is tempted to cast a vote for Storm and Celiasil in spite of the ruling that second-class can't vote, but he simply shakes his head in disappointment.
  16. Ri’Haskir’Kul within the crowd elevates his drawl, speaking firmly to address those candidates present; in particular, his words came in response to Celiasil. Chartreuse eyes focused unto the fiery-haired mali’, judgement collected in their feline pools. “The presence of soldiers within the city is minute and inadequate yet that is of little concern with gate duty used as example – Alluin Seregon and Storm Elibar’acal both have spent time in the confines of the gatehouse tending to the portcullis to process individuals, but of course it is only natural that given the policies of the Silver State to maintain full lockdown at all times, some few individuals will find the gates unattended. It should not be expected that they will be manned at all times, and neither is it expected in senior capital cities of much greater population. Helena for example closes their gates frequently to bar highwaymen and bandits access, yet frequently are the gates unmanned as attention is more important elsewhere. Aegrothond finds their gates closed and unattended at every hour, far more frequently than Haelun’or. Renelia’s gates – this one can’t recall when they were last manned in ten years worth of visits.” The Pantera exhales sharply, shaking his ebon-spotted head before speaking on. ”Alluin and Storm have done much – that can not be attested, though Storm far more in his eighty-years of time spent working first as #002, second to #001 – Kaelan Aldin. He is the longest-serving Sillumir present in Haelun’or and likely always will be, a capable individual of great talent who has traveled the world far and wide, survived sieges, battles, skirmishes, and trained countless Sillumir alongside the legendary now-deceased Nehtamo Seregon.” Eyes drift over to Storm Elibar’acal with a proud twinkle, and an eager grin dresses his maw. ”Under Storm Elibar’acal as Tilruir’tir did Haelun’or’s Sillumir find great stock in their material wealth – weaponry and armor, ammunition and food stock; amassed in great quantity for a fighting force most supreme in the mali’ echelon. No other mali’ nation has amassed more troops in Arcasian history than Haelun’or, and with Storm Elibar’acal did we wedge ourselves into wars of the great human kingdoms of Oren, Haense, Kaedrin, Morsgrad, and the late Suffonia. It was with Storm Elibar’acal did we sweep Krugmar and force Irrinor to bow to us – and with he assisting this one in protecting Haelun’or did we obliterate then-hostile Haenseti armies encroaching upon the Silver Forest and the walls of this great bastion. Dark magic was rampant in Haelun’or too, and it was Storm Elibar’acal and myself that rid this city of such filth, such darkness plaguing the beacon this nation is.” The Kharajyr High Aelkos’s eyes then move away from Storm Elibar’acal, across the candidates, and then to nowhere in particular. ”This one may be Kharajyr and not ‘thill, but none of what has been said can be disputed – Storm Elibar’acal is most qualified for Okarir’tir. His policies, his actions, his skill, his understanding – it is why he has such rapport with the Sillumir, and is evidence of why he bears such success. It is a blessing that he has returned to Haelun’or, and a blessing that he stands here offering his services. Mali’ live for hundreds of years; it would be unwise to skip a brief time in this Elibar’acal’s life he could spend serving, especially now. Each candidate here is capable and wise, skilled, and knowledged; but right now, it is the Elibar’acal that would do best. It displeases this one that Haskir can’t yet vote – but he can address the truths. That is all.”
  17. "Thank the heavens." A certain someone rasps as Storm speaks.
  18. "Hopefully, Storm Elibar'acal in all his steadfast loyalty and staunch willpower will make a claim to Okarir'tir as deserved for well over thirty years or more. His history is strong and Haelun'or grew to be a powerful force for a time under he and Alaion -- a trained army sizing against that of the larger Valah nations in his prime." A certain someone drawls, hopeful vibrant emerald eyes watching. A warning follows though, fearful of stagnant talons clutching such a pivotal position. "Let not the successor of the great Kaelan Aldin be weak, for wasted time in the seat of the Okarir'tir may be costly as the world is dark and terrible. A beacon this place is, and its protection is paramount."
  19. “It is good to be back.” A particular Kha’Pantera remarks, relishing the glamour of great white marble walls and towers beaming in the silver moonlight overhead as he reads. “Hope shines bright for this republic, itself a silver lining that now stands anew from the old diarchy – literally so – sat cradled on the mountain peak of the heavens high. Starlight blesses the ‘thill, and they will prosper and ascend righteously. It is so.”
  20. alphamoist spitting facts Real talk tho if you play any race for the benefit of its mechanics, you’re not in it for the RP – obviously. That’s not a good thing, especially as a CA; play the CA for its uniqueness IRP, give people reasons to not gut and skin you, and you’ll have a fun time RPing and it’ll be fun for them too if you’re doing it right.
  21. “Excellent! This one can’t wait for the Eldarhim Fête .. imported foods!” Haskir guffaws, “Delicious.”
