  7. [!] A missive is posted around Savoy and at the hubs of Almaris. OOC: ALL SLOTS TAKEN, COME AGAIN NEXT TIME! THIS POST IS CLOSED. VOLATILE ARTIFICE 6th of Snow's Maiden, Y49 Second Age The humble, small foundry of Caer Raywyn has decided that we shall offer a volatite refinement lesson to four lucky individuals at no cost. We will meet to proctor those who will reserve their slot in this lesson on the artifice of casting volatite into refined low-density boomsteel, a fiery and explosive material dangerous to many. WHAT IS VOLATITE Volatite is an incredibly volatile material prone to explosions when mishandled. It is highly toxic and will irritate skin, eyes, mouths, and in general the senses if interacted with unprotected. Originally discovered and found in use by tribal goblins, these mischievous uruks turned volatite to steel, wrapping it with sinew to the ends of sticks or poles -- in effect, creating javelins and spears. Otherwise known as boom-sticks, these pole weapons were treated as throwing weapons to decisively end any encounters with whomever they sought to destroy! Since its discovery by Descendants, volatite has been treated as a dangerous explosive in many different ways: arming ballista with powerful siege missiles, creating deadly javelins, forging dense axes and hammers, or quite literally crafting bombs. Our hope at our forge is to teach moral usage of such materials, and in the future the correct methods of harvesting from mines around Almaris -- without a giant explosion. WHERE ARE WE? We are located to the North of Myrine, just outside of the Southerland Hub. Our estate is a property of the Principality of Savoy, and their flag will be found flying upon the hill along the road. If you can not find us, send us a courier. REQUIREMENTS It is required that all individuals reserving a slot of our four slots arrive with face coverings, goggles, and gloves. It is not required but preferred that all individuals bring their own blacksmithing apron, boiled in distilled water with an herb known as Athins. It is required that should the individual fail to listen to instruction and thusly destroy our materials, they will pay a fee of one-thousand minas for the damages of both forge and material, and for endangering the lives of our other students and the proctor. It is required that all individuals be courteous to the proctor and other students. Any offending students will be dismissed. It is required that the individual be an adult, and that they be capable of understanding the common tongue. You must not be a dark creature or magician, nor a dragon, olog, witch, or other malignant beast. Any who are found to be in violation of this requirement will be blown apart with our materials. APPLICATIONS Applications will close after a maximum of four accepted applicants. Denials will occur if you are known to be in violation of our requirements, or if you have created a lazy application. Fill out the below form, and return them by runner or in the mailbox of our manor. NAME: RACE: AGE: WHY ARE YOU APPLYING?: DO YOU AGREE TO OUR REQUIREMENTS?:

  13. Haskir loves when the Ferrymen help his Azdrazi cause for free. Except- they weren't ... right? He'd never asked them to, anyways! He puts on his Ferrymen bandana he'd bought at the gift store, crossing his fingers in hope they will ally with the Azdrazi to prove Levian'Tol right! "Wait ... they're vassals of Savoy, too? Holy ****!.. The Ferrymen must be a little bit of everything!"
  14. Do not go gentle into that good night; rage, rage against the dying of the light. #OurFitMCAdmin
  15. "At least someone is doing something." Haskir comments, smiling at the missive with a nod. "I hope everything goes upwards from here."
  16. [!] A leaflet bearing familiar marks measured by the dozens begins to drift through Haelun'or, and is posted about elsewhere in their lands. THE CAPTURE OF A SOHAER The Sohaer of the Silver State of Haelun'or has been captured. For the acts of razing our village of Aaz Hahdrim, pilfering the treasury of the State and delivering it unto Mankind, emplacing the State beneath foreign rule, and allowing the vassal of Ando Alur to grow greater than your capital, we denounce you, SOHAER KOLVAR URADIR and PATRIARCH of the Uradir Talonnii. This nation shall be delivered to the PEOPLE, and their most greatest shall reign supreme -- or your nation shall fail, once and for all. The time of the Diarchy is over. The time of Silver is gone. Your lands grow stagnant, plagued with the dying wastes of a corruption most blighted, a baleful cataclysm wrought of the Void and yet your people wither, unable to do anything but weep. If still you bend the knee to lesser peoples, if still you cast your ire unto ours, your nation will become nothing more than ash and dust to cake the landscape in rubble and ruin. As Amaethea, it will burn. Begin anew, Mali'thill. Your opportunity is now. But yet walk again the same path, and all will be taken forevermore. ~ Hashidiz Al-Drazoth Herald of Azdromoth
  17. Genuinely curious what the community opinion is on this. Are these forts world scars? Y/N
